*Jerry sings at the top of his lungs* "WHY DO YOU BUILD ME UP"...................................................

For those of you not familiar with South Louisiana, the people around here call themselves Coon-Asses. I've heard several explanations but they all seem kinda far fetched. Anyway, more so than most of the south, this part of Louisiana is predominently Cahtolic. And being Catholic, Lent is observed (Mardi Gras is essentially a celebration where participants pig-out and act as if they were heathens in preparation for giving up certian foods and many bad habits for the Lenten season). And those of you familiar with "giving up" things for Lent know all about eating fish on Friday. I was raised Roman Catholic and we ate pancakes on Lenten Fridays. I don't know if that was a RC thing or just our family. So even though Lent is over, the gulf of Mexico's offshore workers are almost certainly eating fish today.I know we are today and every Friday of the year. So you can set your clock (calendar) by what is on our steam-line. This Friday and EVERY Friday we have: LUNCH Cajun Boiled shrimp Crawfish Etoufee Seafood Gumbo (with potato salad) Baked Red Snapper Supper Fried Shrimp Fried Oysters Fried Catfish Fried Snapper Seafood Gumbo -Laissez les bons temps rouler

Excellent. From the information you guys provided the answer seems to be that the issue is caused by "old" juice (i.e. juice that sits in a tank that gets moderate to heavy use). so the answer would seem to be to only fill 1ml at a time or......put as much in as you want but be prepared to either have to deal with that taste or dump "spicy" juice when the spiciness becomes intolerable. @Fish....i'm pretty OCD about juice in the shaft (that sounded bad). If I detect any I pull my shaft out and blow from the coil side (there was really no way to make that sound better without spending entirely too much time editing and re-writing). I keep Q-Tips hany EVERYWHERE. I have two boxes out here and three boxes at my house. Jerry no likey the juice in shaft issue. @Tam......I just noticed you adjusted your avitar. Looks like the poor little fella was messin with that hairspray again.

Huh. Never heard of Jerry's. You'd think I woulda, that being my name and all.

So I'm gonna try and explain this the best I can. If anyone has ever had tobacco in their mouth they know what I'm talking about. I mean raw un-smoked tobacco. It leaves a really spicy sensation in your mouth. Kinda like black pepper without the black pepper taste. So I'm getting this sensation when I'm vaping. Not all the time. Almost exclusively in my Nautilus tank (but to be fair that's the tank I use most of the time). And I'm noticing it after I've been vaping on that tank for a while. I'm talking days. With that huge 5ml tank and my reduced vaping tendencies while I'm offshore, a full Nautilus tank could last damn near the whole two weeks I'm out here. What I decided to do was to just add a ml or so at a time. So if I need to change something, the juice or the coil, I'm not sacrificing too much liquid. I did an experiment this morning. I had about .5ml of Fadora strawberry left in my Nautilus. Spicy as hell. I dumped the juice, cleaned the tank, rinsed the coil and then dry burned it. Re-assembled the whole thing and added fresh strawberry (1ml) and the same old coil that had just been rinsed and dry burned. Problem solved. So my guess is that I was having this problem because I was filling my Nautilus tank with at least 4ml of juice if not closer to 5ml. The juice was sitting in a tank that has a coil in the center of it that was constantly getting hot then cool, hot then cool. So something, some kind of chemical process had occured that changed the makeup of the liquid giving it that spicy taste. IDK, I'm not a chemist. This is just my guess. Whatever the answer, my tank maintenance this morning seems to have solved the problem. I wonder how long it will last? I'm guessing that the age of the coil and how much life it has in it (also what settings I have my VV/VW device set on) has something to do with it too. Any thoughts on this phenemenon? Anyone else having this happen to them? Has anyone had this experience usin a tank other than the Nautilus?

Bob's Big Boy's? They still have those places? With the guy that has the hair curl thing and the red and white checkered apron?

Long day here. Thursday is grocery day. We go through roughly $2500/week in groceries. Lunch was light....pizza, chicken tenders and a stir fry. Supper I made a Cajun style pork roast and a gravy cooked down from 7 steaks. Corn on the cob and cheddar mac.

Sounds good fish. You put the pineapple on the grill? I love grilled pineapple.

Aspire Nautilus real and fake tanks
jerryjoe replied to crush02342002's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Man I've been looking for this post for almost a week. I couldn't remember the thread or who had asked me to review it. I went ahead and did the review "video" style and then couldn't figure how to upload it to VT so I uploaded it to youtube. So now I have a Kanger Aerotank Mini review along with some serious heavy hitters like PBusardo and the like. Please be warned. This video was not really intended to compete with those professional quality reviews. I am not an actor nor do I possess any video editing software (or a fancy video camera for that matter). I'm kinda camerea shy and was finding it hard to make eye contact with the camera. Tha being said,. it's definitely a KAT mini review. Hope it helps Earthling. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfKaIilfpOc&feature=em-upload_owner -
I'm having a similar problem with my disposable dripping attys. I'm wondering if maybe using them, then letting them sit unused for a week or so, then using them again is possibly causing the problem. Not sure if they were intended to be used that way. Oh, and to stick with the thread, fadora grape and hcp.

IDK bushwick I saw a pizza on man vs food one time that was bigger than the table it was on. I could probably live on pizza if I had to but that thing scared me. Needless to say Adam got his butt kicked on that one (food won).

Ribs came out good. Nice thing about being the guy that cooked them is that it is required by law in the state of Louisiana for me to test them.

Today's menu is starting to take shape. Looks like burgers and honey BBQ glazed smoked st louis ribs for lunch. Probably throw together some slaw for that. Then I'll hook up my Cajun colleagues with their rice and gravy for supper. Understand that gravy in Louisiana is different than it is everywhere else in the country. One batch will be made from center cut pork chops and trinity (cajun trinity is green peppers, onions and garlic) the other with yard bird (chicken).

It all sounds really good guys. I'm always glad to hear about people eating well. I'm Italian and food has always been a huge part of my life.

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
jerryjoe replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
That sounds pretty cool 3rutez. Not sure how that works though. I vape 20/80(pg/vg) through KAT and nautilus. I was told I probably wouldn't be able to do that. Juice too thick...dry hits, burnt coils. Never happened. It works fine for me. -
Did you mix those two together, Ma? They won't let me do superscript on tapatalk.....Snicker(squared)doodle.

Bump when you get something in vape mail.
jerryjoe replied to Tam's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Finally Ma. You must want to vape it all at once. -
We get steak out here twice a week. Tuesdays and Saturdays. I got tired of all that red meat a while back and started eating pork instead. Seemed like a healthier choice.

I was thinking we could post about some of the meals we make. Maybe give each other some ideas of what's good to eat from the different parts of the country we live in. Here's what I made tonight. Cajun seasoned charbroiled ribeye and t-bone. Steamed broccoli. Teriyaki pork steaks. Baked potatoes. Boston baked beans. Cheese sauce. Garden tossed salad. Fresh baked yeast rolls.

All the above suggestions are right on. The only thing I would add in light of your concern for "vape per puff", which I'm assuming you are referring to vapor production, would be to consider your pg/vg ratio. Often this ratio is denoted by a number like 80/20 or 50/50. Usually these numbers describe the amount of pg (propylene glycol) first and Vg (vegetable glycerin) second, but not always. The main thing to understand is that the higher the amount of pg equates to greater TH (throat hit) whereas the higher the Vg amount equates to greater vapor production. I started with an 80/20 mix (pg/vg) and found the TH to be too much and the vapor production to be too little. I then moved to a 50/50 mix and though it was better still not what I was looking for. I now use a 20/80 mix (pg/vg) and am satisfied with my vape. This may not be the answer for you but understand what those numbers mean and how they will affect your vape.

Are we talking actual hot dogs or hot dog flavored e-liquid?
