I've never vooped. I leave my devices out of the bathroom. Not on purpose or any thinking about it before hand but I was also never that smoker who light up on the toilet and ashed between his legs either. I guess I just do my business and scroll through my phone apps instead.

Today I ordered a iPV 2 50 watt box mod, Zenith v2 clone because I love my authentic, and a gold fogger v4. Pretty excited about all of it but the box mod especially.

3 ohms is crazy high resistance. That's the limit on most devices and I don't know how you'd fit all that wire in a kanger coil head body. Certainly not with anything but 32g. Yes coil wraps can touch. You don't want them overlapping. Youtube microcoil or in your case it would probably be more of a nano coil. Just the other day you were asking for getting your coils around 1.6 ohm now you want 3? I'm getting as confused as you are lol.

If you want to really cloud chase I think you'll have to eventually get a top cap drilled out with large extra air holes. Patriot, Tobh, and IGO W are all options I'd say for that. If you want a good quality rda with good stock airflow and easy to build on I suggest the zenith v2. I love mine and the allen head posts provide the best connections I've ever used. They tighten down and stay tight no matter what. Never had issues with one backing out and they give a superior connection to every rda I own. The post holes are like large slits so parallel and twisted wire builds are pretty easy to fit. Down to dual 24g or single wire 22g I'd say. I stick to twisted 28g or dual 26g on mine usually. Gplat wire goes really low for resistance so I don't ever need more than that for dual coil builds. When you run the airflow wide open it's pretty good and I get great clouds. I build down to about .2 on mine without it getting hot. If you're looking to go lower than that you'll need more than stock airflow and you'll have to get replacement top caps or drill out the stock holes and do extras on some other rda. The IGO W is cheap and a good starter I think. A few places will even drill out the top cap when you order and you can buy replacement top caps that someone has drilled out to be for cloud chasing. You'll just have to run it with no drip tip or a really wide bore one maybe drilled out as well.

I only use sony vtc5 in mech mods. Mainly because that's the biggest safety concern and they aren't that expensive. When you shop around you can usually find pairs for $20. Totally worth it. They'll do really low sub ohm builds and no issues with getting hot and venting. For my VV/VW devices I like the efest button top 18650 batteries. I get days of use on a full charge. At least 2 days of heavy use.

The only reason I don't care for the efest purple 35A 18650 is because they are just rewrapped batteries from other manufacturers. Mostly sony vtc4 or LG batteries. Those companies don't rate them at 35A continuous so it's really Efest doing that on their own and I can't see why other than the fact the competiton rates their's at 30A continuous and 35A sounds like it must be better. In truth if you look at all the unbiased battery test data out on the web for top mech mod batteries nothing really pulses higher and runs higher amps continuous than the vtc5.

Not going to get in to the big tobacco debate but just my experience with people who still smoke is they feel threatened, jealous, and weak. Not saying all of them but many do in my experience. They see their smoker friends quitting and going to vaping and many of them would like to quit too but they just can't. They convince themselves that it's not any better for you health wise and they are scared to try the switch or quitting altogether. A lot of it depends on your attitude when around them. Don't be pushy and don't act like you're better than them. If they ask you about it then be honest. Tell them what you're spending, how you feel, and what it's done for you. If you simply hound them constantly about switching to vaping and are always telling them how much you save or feel better it comes off wrong many times. Like the jehovah's witness who comes to your door early on a saturday morning preaching you about what he thinks and how you should convert. Sometimes people have to find out for themselves.

That was an awesome review video. Thanks for posting. I eventually would have seen it I subscribe to his channel but had no idea it was posted or he was working on that comparison. I'm not surprised at all with his results it's pretty much exactly what I've found for myself using those three. Never tried the hemp wicks but I wouldn't pay that much and I figured they would give a slightly woody pulp taste anyway like he found. One thing that he touched on that I completely forgot about with the rayon cellucotton is how easy is it to change juice using the same wick. It does burn out cleaner and more thoroughly than any of the others. Regular organic really seems to just pool the juice and not wick as well and hold that flavor in between changes. The one thing he didn't factor in at the end that I thought he would is price. I wouldn't say the japanese cotton squares are really expensive but when you compare getting 500 ft of rayon for half the cost of one box of japanese cotton squares it might be a factor for some.

Was really interesting how much better the japanese and rayon wicked. I had noticed it with the parallel fibers but to see them side by side and how much better they do compared to the tangled mess that sometimes you get in regular organic cotton balls it really shows how much easier it works. I'm already using the japanese squares about 75% of the time but I think I'll go back to the rayon cellucotton a little more and see if I really do enjoy it as much. I know I like it for kayfuns and russians which is what he was using. For those rebuildable tanks to me it's overall better than everything else. It takes much less material to do a better job and I can get max VG juice to wick like a 50/50 juice does with regular cotton which is a big difference in performance.

It's good for beginner's though. I don't use my torch now except with just regular kanthal and that's prior to wrapping it. It does really help get that spring out of the wire and make it easy to work with. When you first start with coils they can be kind of sloppy so it helps to compress and torch them prior to installing them. After about a month it just became so easy to make nice coils I haven't had to do that for a long time. Just mount them and fire them. Little squeeze to get them fully compressed and I'm good to go. With gplat wire you barely even need that and you really don't need to torch it before wrapping. Very pliable wire.

The only problem with selling box mods is warranty and replacements. They're popular though. Will sell fast but you get a lot of people who don't understand that aren't made to be subohm devices and perform best between 1 ohm and 1.5 ohm. So you get people who will fry their boards or you have cheaper made box mod clones that have button or display issues and you get a lot of returns. I guess that can always be remedied by selling them as is and requiring any warranty to go through the company who made the box clone but that doesn't always reflect well on the seller.

I always thought a beginner kit for rebuilding like they do for little ego devices works good. A k100 mod or nemesis/stingray clone, pair of 18650, two bay charger, IGO W, little pouch of 10ft of 28g kanthal, baggie of about 10 cotton balls, and an ohm meter. Then you can sell a starter tool kit with wire cutters, screwdrivers, cheap butane torch, etc. All you really need to get started for $100 or so.

Couple builds I did this evening. Been a while with the .20 gplat cloud chasing builds so I dropped those and went with a dual macro clapton build in the brass monkee rda and flip mod at .55 and a dual macro tiger coil build at .35 in the zenith v2 rda on anarchist mod. Should both be great flavor builds.

Picked this up at Sally's Beauty Supply for $11 on sale this morning. 500 ft is going to last a very long time. Now I have a bag of organic cotton balls, an 80 count bag of japanese cotton squares, and 500 ft of cellucotton. Wicks for years.

A little simple dual macro build with 5 wraps of 26g kanthal and the cellucotton wick. Feels synthetic even though I know technically it's not. Very easy to wick though. Easier than cotton balls not quite as easy as the japanese cotton but very simple.

Didn't boil it or anything. It looks clean and other than feeling like pillow stuffing it's pretty much the same as organic cotton. I think it holds juice the same. It draws it to the coil a little better but I think it does that because the fibers are parallel and in line with each other like the japanese cotton. Doesn't taste bad. Might even say it brings out a little more of the flavor of the juice over cotton. Seems to wick nice and even you don't get dry around the coils while still being wet in the bottom along your juice well. I don't want to run it dry and see if it gives a nasty burnt hit or anything. Overall I'd say it's pretty good. Worth the $11 for that much and it's in a nice big box that you can pull out a few inches and cut off with some scissors and go about your wicking. Just nothing revolutionary. Probably works great from rebuildable tanks. I might give it a shot in my russian 91% next week.

My favorite wicks in order are japanese cotton, cellucotton, and walgreens organic cotton. The second two are cheap for bulk. About 4-5$ for 80 organic cotton balls or $12 for 500 ft of cellucotton at Sally's beauty supply. The japanese cotton patches can be pricey unless you get lucky and find some at a decent price on amazon or other fine beauty supply places online but they really are the easiest to use and give great wicking and flavor. Just cut a strip from the patch that is the right thickness for your coils and wick through them and tuck the ends.

Efest 35A are just rewrapped LG 20amps. I wouldn't trust them in my mech mods with subohm builds. No way. Sony VTC5 only. They can pulse up to 50 amps and 30amps continuous. Never even screw your atty on the mod until you put it on an ohm meter. I build it and check it. Wick it and check it. Then juice it and fire it to see both are burning and pumping out clouds. Then cap it and enjoy. Gotta be safe man damn.

Yep. 30g is smaller compared to 28g and also gives a higher resistance. 26g is thicker than 28g and lower resistance and it keeps going down. I think if you can fit them in your rda you can go all the way down to 22g but I've never needed to go lower than 26g and usually use 28g.

I've made it a rule I won't buy off ebay. Too much crap floating around. Hopefully your fakes work out ok, the legit nautlius is a real beast for a clearomizer. Pretty great flavor too. I found a place that sold a 5 pack of coil heads for 9.99 and most charge 15.99 so I hope those are legit coils. Should de.

Using my nemesis clone with igo W right now. About .53 dual coil and I only use sony vtc 5. Pretty good setup. Like an old chevy pickup truck. When I really want to get down though I pull out the v3tronix flip mod and brass monkee rda. It's the ferrari in the garage. They all drive you around the block, just about performance and looks beyond that.

Variable voltage mode should be used by more experienced vapors who want to match the volts to the resistance of the coil being used. You need an understanding of ohm's law or you're going to burn out your coils too fast or not give them enough power. I suggest using the wattage mode. The vamo will put out the right amount of volts for the coil installed and you can just adjust watts to the temp and vape production you want. Much easier for the average user and sometimes your coils resistance will change slightly as you use it. If you're in wattage mode you won't have to worry about adjusting. Just find the watt setting you like and vape away. I have a vamo V3 and a V5. I run both at about 9 watts it's a good setting for me. Not too warm but good vapor production.

SteezeOG got a reaction from Joshuab3687 in V3tronix flip mod and their customer service
Just wanted to give a thumbs up to the customer service at V3tronix and say how much I enjoy my flip mod.

At almost $300 for a personal engraved mod with deep laser etching you have to expect the best and nothing but quality but they really deliver that and then great customer service. I got mine back a few weeks ago and everything was perfect except two small things.

One, the threaded ring that is replaceable (great feature) was installed backwards when I got it so after scratching my head a few minutes wondering why I couldn't get any of my atomizers or clearos to screw down I tried turning that thread ring upside down and that was the culprit. Every device fit flush and perfect after that.

Second, the firing button was just a little gritty and hard to turn from the locked to unlocked position. This great on and off and short throw fire was one reason I wanted the mod. I figured I could just drop some wd40 or something in there and smooth it out but I didn't want to do that without contacting customer service. I sent an email today and got a response in literally five minutes. They sent me a picture and details how to line up the grooves and get some WD40 in there. A few twists to work it in and my switch is buttery smooth and switches on and off like a precision machine.

Love the mod and how great it performs and looks. I have a few clones too so I'm not that mod snob guy who thinks only an authentic is the way to go. I got this because I wanted one really great mod that was authentic and I could have custom engraved. A piece that looks great and I could enjoy for a long time. Happy I went with the flip and love the great customer service from v3tronix. If you're on the fence about spending the money for one but really would like something special for the collection I highly recommend it. I can use my clones and vape away but nothing I have compares to this level of quality and how great it works. Ok enough testimonial. I'm not getting paid for this lol.

After a few months when the old smoking crap coughs up from your lungs and you get your taste and smelling back you'll hate the smell of them and be completely glad you made the switch to vaping.
