  1. So I've had my Joye 510 for a while. So far it's been great, since at home I have a charger, and at work I have a USB charger. I've been changing out the same 2 batteries the entire time. I bought an extra just in case... but what happens when I need a battery that lasts longer than an hour or two? I've seen these Joye Ego batteries, and mega batteries, and mega atomizers, and mega everything! Can I just buy some kind of extended battery to use with my current 510 atomizer/cart setup? Do I have to buy a new battery, atomizer, cart and everything and start all over? I've got quite a stock going now (20 or so carts, 3 atomizers, 3 batteries, two 510 specific chargers, a case) I really don't feel like starting all over. I see some of these 510 "Mega" batteries on my main supplier website.. are they any good? I just want something with long life for a day out at a ballgame, or a night at the bar, or something similar. What should I be looking for?? Thanks!
  2. Damn straight! I still gotta have my menthols when drinking. But it's vaping all the rest of the time. And that's so good for me... on a lazy saturday or sunday, watching movies or playing video games.. it wouldn't be uncommon for me to go through an entire pack.. and now, none! Any improvement is good improvement I always say. And even when drinking, the E-Cig helps me cut WAY down on regular smoking. I figured with a name like BEER CITY you would have to live in either my hometown Pittsburgh, or Milwaukee - man Milwaukee is a great town. Cheers!
  3. I'm happy this thread got so much attention. It's been 2 and a half weeks now since I got my Joye 510. I've bought only two packs of smokes. That's fantastic considering I used to buy two packs per day. The only time I really desire analogs is when I have some beer. I'll take $6 per pack once every 8 days over $10 per day. Hopefully I'll eventually kick them completely. But it sure was nice to see everybody's input.
  4. I must say - even while drinking, my analog usage has decreased VERY dramatically. (one or two all night, when I used to go through an entire pack) I'm perfectly content being one of the gang that "only smokes when they drink." Especially since I smoke even less than those people! Sorry to say - nothing hits like a marlboro menthol full flavor when you're sipping at a sam adams.
  5. Maybe I just need some more time. It's been less than 2 weeks for me. But I've cut down so much, I've noticed more stamina when working out, better breathing, better taste of smell and taste... I agree with everybody here that the smell now knocks me on my ***, and is disgusting. But I don't think I'll ever give up the occasional menthol cig while drinking. Was very cool to see all the replies though, thanks for your input!
  6. So I have been Vaping for about 12 days now. I had one pack left over from my analog days, and I just finally killed it off this evening, so I went to buy another pack. I'm not sure if it's pure instinct.. but I like to have one around for when I have a few beers. The overall "hit" sensation of a real cig does wonders for me when I'm drinking (and menthol cigs have been proven to increase the effect of alcohol ) I've always had tons of friends who only "smoke when they drink" and I've always been kind of jealous of that. And now I'm one of them! haha. So what do you all do? I truly love smoking, but this E-Cig has pretty much saved my life. I think I'll always smoke an E-Cig, as I have no intention of quitting altogether. I used to buy 2 packs per day, and I've bought one pack in the past 12 days. That's a HUGE money savings.. but I'm just wondering if anybody else here keeps a pack on hand just for that occasional nostalgic hit. I'd imagine smoking less than one cig per day is exponentially better than smoking 30 per day, like I used to. Or do you find that the longer you vape, eventually you just have no need for them whatsoever?
  7. I'd be in for a Pick Em league. I prefer to do it without a spread, but whatever you guys want to do. I'm not much for FF itself though.
  8. They haven't steered me wrong yet.
  9. Sure do - http://www.dragonflyecigs.com/store/
  10. Dragonfly has been great for me. They're in Texas, and I'm in PA. So far shipments have arrived within 3 business days. I ordered my Joye 510 from them last Sunday, it got here on Wednesday. I ordered extra atomizers and a USB Charger on Wednesday, and it got here Saturday. They seem to pack everything very well, have a well laid out website, prices are very fair (compared to other sites I've seen). Please let me know if this post somehow violates rules, as I'm surprised they haven't been reviewed yet. I'm hoping there's not a reason for that via the rules.
  11. My kind of thread! I was going to start a similar one, but I saw this one at the top. I could never narrow down a "list" so to speak of my favorite video games, because I'd just keep thinking of new games to overwrite current games. However, in 20 years of gaming, my top game of all time remains The Guardian Legend. That game was way ahead of its time, super deep, challenging, good graphics, and great story. I think if they ever made a next gen version of it I might go crazy waiting for it. But otherwise .. also a huge fan of FPS (Only on PCs), 2D Fighters, and RPGs. Also, any MMO that isn't Warcraft.
