  1. Yes, they do... actually, I saw one listing on Amazon for 12 or 18... which made them about $5 each, maybe less? EDIT: Here's a link for 25-pack for $150... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NUI48WA/
  2. I would NOT leave ANY battery charging unattended, especially while I was sleeping! Even if you have the best charger on the planet, and the best battery made, you can never tell when something is going to short-out or go BOOM... I know I could not sleep at night knowing a Li-Ion battery was charging in the next room...
  3. "Were" being the operative word... if they are factory seconds from LG... there is no guarantee how long they will last, how or if they will charge, or if they will "pop". Best to be safe and stick with known, reputable batteries... safety first!
  4. I agree... take it back and get a better battery... Samsung, Sony VTC4, Efest, LG H2... all good batteries, although all I use anymore are Samsung and Sony
  5. They also have a 5-pack for $32... if you need/want that many
  6. From what I've read on them, the MXJO are re-wrapped LG18650HE2. It is also possible they are factory seconds from LG, so you may have a dud? Several reports say they are "superior", several say they are junk... so I have no experience with them to say one way or the other... But, if they are re-wrapped LG H2's, they are NOT 35A... they are 20A batteries.
  7. What charger are you using? Is it blinking to indicate charging, or rapid blinking to indicate "error"? Most chargers should charge a 2500mAh IMR battery within 3 hours... That charger looks like one of the cheaper Trustfire/Ultrafire brand chargers... which are really low charge rates.
  8. I store all my tanks with those silicone caps (to keep the dust ... or spiders, lol... out of the tubes). So far, that has not helped any tank from suffering this issue, since the caps do not "vacuum-seal" the drip-tip / tube. From what I can tell... if they're going to leak, they're going to leak. And, I'm fairly certain my Nautilus' Pyrex Tank is not "perfect", which is why there are leakage issues, due to lack of perfect seal at the top/bottom of the tank.... although I'm not 100% sold on the perfection of the coils either... just like Kanger, you get a bad lot ever now and then.
  9. And higher OHM coils require less Amperage from the battery, thus making the battery last longer between charges. Higher OHM coils also take longer to heat up, and longer to cool-down, so chain-vaping with a higher OHM coil makes for a very warm tank
  10. This is exactly what happens to mine... BDC or BVC, it doesn't matter... Let the tank sit for a few hours and there is juice in the base. Let it sit for a few days, and there is juice all over the storage rack or battery because the leak spills over through the air-holes. I've cleaned, replaced o-rings, changed coils, soaked, etc.... same issue. I've watched my full tank go from 5ml to 4ml while sitting in the rack... The 1ml that goes missing is quickly found in the base and pooled in the bottom of my storage rack. After I cracked my tank and bought a replacement, the issue is less, but not gone, so that tells me there are imperfections in the glass that are not allowing for a proper seal (maintaining proper vacuum)? I'm wondering if a SS tank will fix the issue forever?
  11. Well, the study was done at the Bloomberg School of Public Health... so I'd say, YES! I do appreciate the dissenting voice of David Peyton, a chemist at Portland State University... He quickly points out that the study only involved ONE brand, flavor, and nicotine level... His caution on the conclusions are well founded. One study with one "vapor" does not make for a global conclusion.
  12. It's not quite dreamsicle... not very candy-ish... not like orange candy and buttermilk, YUK (like so many of the dreamsicle flavors I've tasted). It's more like taking a bite out of a real tangerine, followed by a sweet, creamy inhale, and you get a nice, tart aftertaste... hard to describe, really It is delicious, though... I only bought a 10ml bottle to try it, but I'll have to go back this weekend and pick up the 30ml, because I don't have much of the 10ml left, lol
  13. I sure wish the coil-fairy would show up at my house I hope my Kuro Koilers will arrive before Christmas... then maybe I can have pretty coils too?
  14. Oh, Tam... I picked up a bottle of Tangerine Cream the other day from my local B&M.... Pure sweet-tart-cream-heaven!
  15. Gee, Comp... had I known you were going to test Organic Japanese pads.... I could have sent you a few of mine, so you could add another brand to your test sample
  16. Businesses may have the $ (usually not as much as everyone thinks), but "We the People" have the VOICE and POWER. I contact my state and federal representatives so often, their secretaries know me by the sound of my voice Let your representatives and congressmen know exactly where you stand, and remind them they work for YOU. Taxation without representation is what brought about the revolution that founded this great nation... and our "betters" in office need to be reminded OFTEN of this fact... and the fact that their cushy jobs can be taken away at the ballot-box! Our voices must be heard, and heard loudly and often. Classifying e-liquids as "tobacco products" is a two-fold win for our government... it brings the cash-cow of the vaping industry under the regulation / oversight of the FDA (and puts big-tobacco in the driver's seat), and it allows our greedy government to reap benefits of sin-taxes, to the tune of 85% (free money for their pet-projects, as they see it). Posting this here is a good start, but you'll be better served in FL if you pass the word along to your friends/family/co-workers, and urge all residents of FL to flood their representatives' offices with emails, letters, and phone calls to let them know the residents of FL will not stand for this bill (or anyone supporting it).
  17. I really need to get out of the house more... I started watching 'Roswell' over the weekend, and finished the 3rd and final season a few minutes ago. It was surprisingly good for a 3-season run.... I got a great kick out of the late 90's / early 2000's cell-phones, and the fact that EVERY high-school student had one... considering how expensive they were back then (hardware and plans), and the fact that the lawyer's kids rarely had one, but everyone else had the newest tech, and seemingly unlimited plans... and they got great reception out in the desert! Now, to catch up on The 100, The Flash, and Arrow... I'm several weeks behind
  18. But Tam... what is your preferred rig for "Plotting World Domination"?
  19. At Work - IPV-mini with Russian 91% Watching TV - Same as at work, although I may drag out the Magma RDA on Mech-mod or IPV-mini Restaurant/bar/driving (or rest-stops when riding my bike) - iStick 20W or MVP 2.0 with AeroTank or KPT2 (with air-flow base) Working in the yard or turning a wrench - eGo-T with Boge 2.0 Cartomizer or KPT3-mini When away from home or where I could damage/lose expensive gear, I tend to use my more durable (and cheaper) Kanger tanks. The iSticks may not be the most durable batteries, but they are the more "expendable" batteries I own, 2nd to my eGo-T's.
  20. Yes, the new ones are shipping with BVC and a spare glass tank! I wish mine had came that way.... LOL
  21. I thought the Atlantis was the one with Chrome, even though it listed all SS? I'm pretty sure the Kanger sub-tanks are all SS... but I could be wrong
  22. Good article! I find it negligent; however, that the author failed to also mention that e-liquids do not HAVE to have nicotine, and the fact that many youth, casual-smokers, who have switched to vaping (or the cloud-chasing fad-followers) are using 0mg juices (or very low mg levels). It is nice to see an article about e-cigs that is not fully slanted to gloom-and-doom, or solely focused on the cloud-chasing crowd
  23. Cut back the air-flow a notch and that will usually slow-down or diminish the "spitting and gurgling", but only if the issue is a result of vacuum pressure. It won't stop the problem if it is leaking at the coil.
  24. The mAh ratings are listings of capacity (use between charges), and have basically no relationship to "safety". 18650 batteries can be found in different chemistry, and each has their use, discharge rate, capacity, etc... Here's the Cliff's Notes version If you want long-life between charges, go for higher mAh ratings. One of the downsides to maximizing your mAh is you tend to limit your discharge ratings (peak and continuous Amperage discharge). THIS is where safety is gained/lost. If you are building coils or using devices 1 Ohm or higher, there is little cause for concern on the Amp rating of your batteries, as the majority of the ones on the market can handle loads down to 1 Ohm. When you move to sub-ohm builds/devices, where your resistance is 0.2 Ohms @ 4.2V (for example), your battery needs to be rated to handle a minimum of 21A. So, for sub-ohming, you want to maximize your Amp-rating first, and then try to find the highest mAh for your needs (for longevity between charges).
