  1. Yep, I'll be ordering an IPV-mini2 by the end of the week (if not tomorrow) I still may pick up another V1 in another color, only because I've had ZERO issues with my first one. My only gripe is that sometimes I'll "almost" cross-thread the battery cap when I replace a battery, but that is a minor issue.... I saw the Colossus was pushed back, but that was for the V2 (70W), which is $99. The V1 (35W) should have already been released... I'm hoping your delay is only because you ordered the black one, which was not released at the same time as the silver ones... they were held back a few weeks, according to what I read I still think the black/brass one will be worth the wait!!
  2. As GeorgeF indicated above, the MVP and iSticks don't require additional (removable) batteries. They are internal, which is why I suggested them... simplicity of use For their ease-of-use, you can't go wrong with either of them... and like Jason pointed out, for the extra few $, if you're going to go with the iStick, I'd highly recommend the 30W model (improved 510 threading, floating pin, and overall a better deal). The MVP is bullet-proof design/engineering, and Innokin has the MVP V2.0, the 20W and the V3.0... depending on what you want... but the iSticks are more affordable
  3. Oh, I have a list already made out for you And one for Jason, and Tug, and anybody else that has spare cash
  4. Hey, Joe... congrats on 5-yrs in this little corner of Internet heaven Like Tam said, you can use the Kanger BCC in the Aerotanks, but I've had issues with leaking when using them in my AT's... BUT, the good news is, the KPT2 works VERY well with the air-flow-control base (from the Aerotank), and you can buy them separately for ~ $3. So, if it were me, I'd buy a KPT2 and pick up an air-flow-control base... it's the same price (or cheaper) than buying an Aerotank, and you're guaranteed the single-coils (BCC) will fit, and function, every time! Hey, and yes the dual-coils do burn a bit more juice, but it seems like they drain faster in the mini's because the minis only hold 1.2-1.5ml of juice... compared to the full-size tanks, which hold 2.5ml (every time).
  5. I hate to ask the obvious question... but when you were sick, you were obviously spreading the little bugs all over (and in) your vaping gear.... SO, did you sterilize everything after you got better? If not, you could just be handing your near healthy system another dose of whatever it just fought-off.... When I'm feeling ill, I stick to a couple of tanks or RTA's... and each time I finish a tank, I drop the drip-tip into 91% rubbing alcohol to soak for a few minutes. After I get over whatever I had (which rarely lasts more than a couple days since I stopped smoking), I clean, rinse, and soak my "sick" tanks in freshly boiled water (until cool), then soak again in Vodka for a few minutes... air-dry, and use. This way I ensure I've not retained any bacteria or virus in those devices. I also wipe down my Mods/batteries with rubbing alcohol at least twice per day when I'm feeling ill... just in case I transfer anything or retain any "critters", lol
  6. Gee, Tam... make me blush Soon... sooooon, your hard earned cash will be spent ... Bwahahahahaha
  7. For a glass tank "upgrade", I would suggest a Kanger ProTank 2 or AeroTank. Tug is correct that the Nautilus coils do last a tiny bit longer than the KPT coils, but the KPT coils are 1/3 the price, and vape quality in the AeroTank (dual-coil) is very comparable to the Nautilus. The KPT and AeroTank are also half the price of a Nautilus (full or mini size). If you really like the top-coil design of the iClear16, you can always go with a Vivi Nova or similar top-coil tanks. For a battery upgrade, if you like the eGo-style (stick), a Vision Spinner (I, II, or III) are good work-horses, although people say the Spinner2's have issues... If you are wanting a small box-style, the iStick 20W or 30W are excellent choices. The 30W model is an upgraded version with better threading over the 20W model, but I have two 20W models and they are working well for me. The MVP 2.0 is rock-solid, but limited in peak-power (but works very well with standard tanks). SMY also has a slim 30W box-mod out, with a price comparable to the iSticks, but I've not tried one of them... they look nice though! For a small budget of say ~ $50, you could grab an iStick 20W and two KPT2 (or two AeroTanks for a couple bucks more), and I think you'd be quite happy with the upgrade over the Twist and iClear16 combo.
  8. I'll second the Kanger kits... EVOD, EVOD2, EMOW... They are what many of us started with, and will serve well as backups as you evolve into bigger (or at least more) equipment. I know people that have vaped for a year or two and still use the most basic of set-ups, like the EVOD kit or a Vivi Nova mini and basic eGo battery. If you want to stay small, the 650mAh batteries are about as small as you can go, without having to swap/charge them every 4 hours, lol, although the new 1300mAh Kanger batteries are the same height (just a little more diameter) as their 900mAh batteries, so you get a lot of long-lasting power in a relatively small package. The EVOD/EMOW style tanks are durable work-horses too (and the coils are cheaper than others).
  9. Flavors will almost always be a little more intense (or at least different) first thing in the mornings... because you've not been vaping in your sleep, and your taste-buds have had a chance to "relax" Or at least I hope you've not been vaping in your sleep
  10. Images on BING are "blocked" by pixels because they are considered "adult content", and the "safesearch" filter is set to strict or moderate. I do not get the same problem if using another search engine.... (blames BING) What bothers me more is with the filter still set to "moderate", and searching for REAL adult content, you can see pretty much all the T&A you want... Just think how much more "open and unrestricted" the Internet will be once the FCC gets their claws into it....
  11. Most of the sites I've looked at have the price-point at $69.95... I did see that MyVaporStore has them at $63.95, and VaporDNA has them at $62.99 (with discount code DNA10). It also seems the black ones are selling out as fast they get in-stock (everywhere). I was hoping to find it at one of my go-to (free-shipping) vendors @ $59.95... but a few bucks more isn't too bad, I guess
  12. Welcome to VT! Have you cleaned the tank, rinsed well, and / or soaked it in Vodka? Usually, once you burn a juice, the flavor of "burnt" gets embedded in the juice, and then the tank, so even a fresh coil will still give you that burnt flavor. For a 2.2 Ohm coil, you should be able to take the Voltage up to 4.2V (to hit 8W). Disassemble and clean that tank thoroughly, rinse it with very warm/hot water, and then soak it for a few hours in Vodka, then let it thoroughly air-dry. Pop in fresh juice and a fresh coil, and it should be like-new again. Also, sometimes soaking those barely-used coils in Vodka for a few hours will remove the burnt flavor, and allow you to use them again.
  13. Congratulations! One year is a huge milestone! Year #2 starts today
  14. Hump? What hump? Hey, I'd be happy to compile your data and make some useful graphs and charts
  15. Don't forget the pretty spreadsheets and graphs
  16. Wow, that's odd... My IPV-mini is probably more accurate than (or at least as accurate as) my MVP, and definitely more accurate than my iSticks. The IPV tends to match my Eleaf Ohm meters, give or take rounding error. For example, I built a 1.42 Ohm coil for my new RTA tonight, and my IPV-mini reads it as 1.4 (accurate rounding), but my iStick reads it as 1.6 Ohms. I thought the same thing... I really wanted a Sigelei 100W+, but realized I have a lot of juices that prefer <10W, so I could only use it with my RTA/RDA (which I would rarely break 50W with, anyway). I've not ordered the IPV-mini2 yet, but next paycheck there will be one headed my direction!
  17. My Authentic Kebo/UCT Russian 91% arrived moments ago.... and I just unboxed it Authentic Logo/Seal (unbroken) Better picture of the box All the parts broken out IT'S SOOOO SHINY!! If this thing vapes half as good as it looks, I may be forced to buy another one (or two), as my budget will allow!
  18. FLAVOR! Seriously, flavor on the Russian is fantastic... just like the Kayfun Lite and Kayfun Lite Plus... which are nearly identical to the Russians - so much so, many parts are interchangeable. But what sold me on the Russians over the Kayfun is the air-flow control. The Russian has air-flow control on the side (not the bottom), so the only screw on the bottom is for adding juice, and you can adjust air-flow without removing the tank from your mod. My Russians don't "whistle" like a Kayfun, either... Now, I have nothing really against the Kayfun's performance and flavor... I just liked the design of the Russian a little better However, I must say, the Kayfun V4 is also a really, really nice RTA (as long as you don't have issues with your conductive spring).
  19. First "authentic"... but I have 3 clones... two are really good clones, one is just meh (poor machining, but it was only $20, so I didn't expect perfection)...
  20. Ouch... but 2-days is better than 2-months! I made my order the first week of January, and they split the order into two shipments. The first one arrived a couple of days ago (5+ weeks), and the second shipment says it shipped on 1/31, but according to tracking, it still has not left China... and I still have to look forward to Customs holding it for at least a week YAY for saving money The good news is... my authentic Russian 91% V2 will be here tomorrow in about 8 hours!
  21. Whoops... I guess I need to learn to increase my reading comprehension Either that, or learn to slow down, lol
  22. Hooker... do yourself a favor and put some Scotch-tape over the numbers/lines on those syringes... the tape will keep the markings from vanishing Tam, the 5 I ordered from Fasttech finally came in... and YES, they fixed my 'no atomizer' issue on the iSticks! Although one of them was a bit wonky on the threading... it wasn't a deal-breaker for the $3 I spent
  23. Next question, Comp... Not withstanding the height of the capillary action... how about the VOLUME each strip absorbs? Obviously, how fast they wick will be important, but equally important to me is the volume each wick will hold... So, when each strip is in the tank with X-ml of liquid... after 15 min, which bottle has less liquid in it?
  24. That charger has no UL-Listing on it... I'd not trust it beyond "emergency use", and I'd watch it like a hawk the whole time Buy a GOOD charger from Nitecore, like the i2 or i4... or the d2 or d4... there are several other good brands, but I do trust my Nitecore chargers (and they are UL-Listed).
