I own several Taurus, and not one has given me grief, although the ramp on the TCP needed polishing when I bought it. I've had $1000+ Kimber and Sig that required service out of the box Taurus has won me over on price and reliability, but more on ergonomics... they just fit my hand like a glove. Comparing my PT92 to the actual Beretta... probably 90% of the parts are interchangeable, and I like the fact that the Taurus version is more accurate -

The CCDW class in KY is $75 (most places), and then you have to pay $60 to the local Sheriff and State Police ($30 each) for 5-yrs of licensing. -

Yep, not Glock fanboi... I was raised on S&W revolvers, but found the "light" of semi-autos. I love my PT111 G2... it may be a Taurus, but it feels so right in my hand! I've got Colt, S&W, Ruger, Beretta, Walter, and many others (including a Glock 17 and 26, but not my favorites)... but I gotta say the cheaper Taurus is my favorite for shooting and carry. Even my TCP is reliable and comfortable for daily conceal-carry! A 1911 is a fine weapon, but I don't like carrying a brick strapped to my hip daily Back in my military days, the 1911 was phased out for the Beretta, and I do have love for the reliability of the Beretta 9mm, but prefer the 92 over the m9... still a brick to carry anywhere but a thigh holster, though... -
Happy Easter everyone... I hope your day was filled with family and fun, and everyone remembered the reason for the day!!

Fingers crossed they get that passed soon... sad that open-carry in TX is currently banned, but in KY, you have been allowed to open-carry for a hundred years! CCDW has been available here for 20+ years, and I've been a carry holder since year one.... -

351's... nothing wrong with them... I had a '73 Torino in Ice Blue (actually very white) with a 351 Windsor... beast of a motor! I agree, though, the 429 Cobra Jet would be damn nice to have! You can always get the car you want and get a crate 429? Another option would be the 460 with dual 4's... I had that in my Gran Torino Elite... never passed a gas station when my foot was in the floor, but on the Interstate, cruising 65-70.... I could break 20mpg! The nice thing about it was that there wasn't a Camaro, Corvette, or Mustang in the area that could keep up with it As for the SBR, yeah, it sucks to pay to get a barrel shorter than 16"... especially when you can buy a 5.56 pistol without paying a dime extra! -

Oh, my '69 has a few rust holes, and the bed won't win any prizes, but one thing is universally true.... no matter how bad a truck looks, it's still a truck and commands respect A car with a rusted fender means you're not a good owner... a truck with a rusted fender means you've actually used your truck for it's intended purpose -

For a '72 Torino with a 429 Cobra... yeah, LOTS of money -

I had a '75 and '78 F100's... Oh, how I miss them! You should drag her out of the back yard and give her purpose and life again! Even if it's to run to the grocery store once a week... she needs a job to do... it will make her feel loved again -

What really gripes my rear is the MPG of newer cars... my F250 w/390-modified gets better MPG than my father's '10 F150 (with 6-cyl) did. My Grand Marquis got 28mpg with a 5L V8, and my 4-cyl Fusion struggles to hit the same. Back in the 80's, I had a Mitsubishi that regularly hit 50mpg and had a top speed of 118... It drives me nuts that cars can't get the mileage they use to, thanks to all the gov't regulations and EPA mandates. Even my '85 Honda Shadow struggles to break 50mpg, when back when it was new, 65mpg was considered CITY, not highway! I've had cars from the 40's through today, and my greatest love is cars from the 60's and 70's -

Full-size back in the day were tanks... capable of seating 10 (on two bench seats)... I use to put a full-size 26" wheel 10-speed racer in the back seat of my '75 Gran Torino Elite (with room to spare for someone to sit if necessary). My last full-size Lincoln Town Car ('02) barely fit 5 adults and a child! I think the interior of my '95 Grand Marquis was bigger, and neither held a candle to mid 70's land yachts I loved so dearly My current Ford Fusion is fairly roomy for a mid-size, but could be bigger for my tastes. But, my '69 F250 has a bench seat large (and comfortable) enough to sleep on (I'm a hair under 6')... and I have slept on it more than once when hunting and I didn't want to set up a tent, lol. -

Yep, me too... gotta be able to haul stuff to be considered a truck... two doors and an 8' bed... 6' is acceptable for a short-wheel-base or step-side What gets me is how they classify vehicles these days, mostly because of fuel economy. I think the biggest mis-classification I've seen lately is the Honda Fit... that tiny little box of a vehicle... it's classified as a mini van! -
If you found authentic for $50, snag 'em! (unless they are from eBay, as they are likely not authentic) To me, you can't tell the difference between the YiLoong and Kebo (authentic) as far as the quality of vape. There are physical differences, such as the air-flow-control screws are Allen-head screws on the YiLoong (flat-head on authentic), and the placement of the air-flow-screws are reversed. The YiLoong are a bit taller too (because they share the body with the Kayfun Lite Plus clones they also make), which gives them about 0.5ml more capacity. I don't have a link handy, but I'll try to locate one of the YiLoong for you and PM it to you.

I ride mine all winter long, but these past few weeks have sucked (all the rain and bad cell in a 5-yr old battery). I got her out of the driveway today, after the grass was cut, and rolled about 100-miles on her... to break in the new battery, of course I bet I passed 100+ bikes out this afternoon. My hand was off the bar, waving, far more than it was on the bar.... it was a GOOD day!

I have 5 Russians... two are authentic (bought on a going-out-of-business sale, or I wouldn't have afforded them either), but the three clones are really good clones from YiLoong and some unknown company, bought for $18-25 each. The YiLoong clones have "The Russian 91%" printed on the body, with the proper outlined "T" and "R", and the "n's" are upside-down "u's", just like the authentic. It is true, they are best for flavor, but I get satisfying clouds from them too, using 50/50 and 40/60 juices. Clouds won't win any competitions, but they are thick and smooth, and give the sensation of a fine cigar. The insulators on the Russians (and Kayfun, and many other RTAs) are not designed to handle high heat produced by sub-ohming, and, the flavor is best (for me) when your builds are 1.3-1.5 Ohm, using 28ga on a 3mm mandrel, and lift the coil about 1.5-2.0mm over the air-hole.

Faygo, from Detroit, MI... been around for a very long time. We always considered it a "house-brand" or generic, until I worked in the grocery store business for a decade, and found it to be a real, primary company, but not a biggie like Coke or Pepsi... more like RC, and they have a lot of fruity and bakery-style flavors.
-
I don't drink much dark cola, but I will have the occasional Dr. Pepper... but, an RC Cola on a hot summer day... YUMMMMMMM! I don't know if they still bottle it here in eastern KY, but I know you can find it in any convenience or grocery store around the area. Come to think of it, I saw Orange and Grape Crush in the cola case at the local Shell station the other day... when I was reaching for an Ale-8-1... OMG, Winchester Swamp Water... my kids were weaned on that stuff... soooooo good, I think they serve it cold enough to bust your front teeth out, at the gates of heaven (or at least I hope they do, or I ain't going, lol)

Lately I've been hitting Chocolate-Raspberry quite hard, but still have my favorite of Cuban Cigar mixed with Black Cherry and Vanilla for a smooth, spicy-sweet flavor (like a well-aged Cuban with Maduro wrapper). Another daily favorite is a fruit blend I've been tinkering with... very tropical, but not too overpowering or candy/gum flavor... it still needs something, but I can't put my finger on it

All I can say is that on a clear, quiet night, we like to sit on the front porch and listen to the neighbor's Chevy's rust -
Kudos for already having a meter! For RDA, I like my Magma, and the Stillare isn't bad. As long as the posts are strong and have decent size openings for wire... and the juice-well is capable of holding more than a couple drops, you should be good with most any RDA. Oh, and more air-flow is a good thing, especially if you plan to go below 0.5 Ohms. For an RTA, you likely won't be sub-ohming it... I like mine in the 1.3-1.6 Ohm range for best flavor. I really love my Russian 91% and always recommend the Russian and Kayfun Lite-Plus as a good starter RTA. The Orchid is a beast for flavor and vapor, but it is dual-coil with high air-flow, which also means it chugs the juice. The Kayfun V4 is a good one too, but I'd recommend getting the Infinite clone over a Tobeco or no-name. I have an Infinite and Amod clone, and both are very well made. The only issue is the spring, which can be upgraded or stretched for better performance/connectivity.

Yep, I've found that out through trial-and-error... 18-22% seems to be just right for most of my concoctions, and some of the higher VG blends have been pushed to 30% to maintain a reasonable flavor, or at least a flavor I like. Strong tobacco and really tart fruits (e.g. lemon) also don't need as much ratio either.
-
Props to Comp and is entire collection of juices @ Fadoravapor.com. Another source of decent fruit flavors is Seattle Vapor. I've bought several from them, and was quite pleased because their fruits were not not so "candy" flavored (like many of the cheaper, mass-produced flavors are). Killer Juice also runs weekend "dollar-sales", and has decent flavors, especially when they're on sale I've never been a fan of Pink Spot... or DeKang... although I've used DeKang to blend/mix with other flavors before with success.

Some flavorings are really strong, some are not... but I've found that keeping your flavorings between 15% and 30% of the total volume makes for much better taste. I too have tried some at the flavoring manufacturer's recommendation of 5-10%, and it just wasn't even close. I think those 5% numbers are if you are adding flavors to drinks or foods. E-liquids need a bit more "oomph", IMO. Edit: Also, Tug, I just re-read your PG content... and since PG is your flavor carrier, using only 20/80 PG/VG ratio means you have very little flavor carrier in the bottle, so you will need MORE flavorings to compensate. Perhaps at 50/50 ratio, 10% flavoring may be better, or maybe you'd only need a few more drops to take it to 15%? 80/20 juices take less flavoring than 20/80 ratio juices
