I think the cigalike has a better success-rate, lol, and you don't require therapy or support-groups to go with it.... Unless you need a "buyers-group" to help you work through why you are paying $7-10 for a disposable, landfill-banned battery, and inferior e-liquids which support big-tobacco, Chantix is horrible, but FDA approved because it has the backing of big-pharma lobbyists' dollars, and the tobacco industry knows it doesn't work (and has horrible side-effects), which is why they also support it!

Welcome to VT! The listing on the side of your battery is the lower limit of your battery's ability to work. It will not fire the 0.2 Ohm coil (most likely) because of the circuitry built into it (for safety). I would suggest you pick up more of the 0.5 Ohm coils, if you liked the way they work.

Welcome to VT! Cloupor is still going strong, so I've no idea what is going on with their website.... Perhaps its just a temporary thing, or an upgrade? Just out of curiosity, what is your mini and mini-plus doing? I have three minis for over a year, and three mini-plus, bought in the past 5 months, and have had zero issues with them, so I'm curious if there is some common issue (that I've not heard of) I should be on the lookout for!

Spending other people's money? Us? Never! Tam recommended a couple of great items with the iStick 50W and the Aspire Triton2 (which I have the V1 and V2, and use both), and I'll make a few additions myself, of workhorses that I use daily/weekly... without suggesting anything too advanced... For a basic tank, I love the Kanger Aerotank V2. It has a decent capacity and great airflow... and they're very inexpensive! There are also LOTS of different coil resistances available for them, from 0.5 Ohm, all the way to 2.4 Ohm. I personally prefer 1.2 and 1.5 Ohm in them. For an intermediate tank, I cannot recommend the Kanger SubTank Mini highly enough. Great airflow, good flavor from the coils, and they look good too, lol. I would suggest the horizontal coils over the vertical coils though, as they last longer and taste better, IMO. There are also many resistance options available in the coils (as well as an RBA deck for custom building)... AND, in a pinch, the Aerotank coils WILL FIT and WORK. For box mods... the only integrated battery mods I use currently are the Wismec Presa 40W. They're light and small (portable like your eGo's), have an all-day battery built-in, and fully adjustable Wattage control. They even offer a TC version for $5 more, and a 75W TC version for the same price... but it requires an 18650 cell, but can also charge that cell via USB (like the 40W versions, or your eGo). For replaceable cell mods... those that take an 18650 battery... I love my Cloupor Mini and Mini-plus mods... they are small, durable, and work very well. The plus version offers 50W and TC, where the standard is only 30W, but more than enough power for most vapers. They also have lots of cool colors, and the paint doesn't fade/chip nearly as bad as many of the others. Pioneer 4 You (IPV) makes great mods, too, and I love their IPV minis, although they are getting harder to find. 30W for the V1, 70W for the V2, and they feel great in your hand, and have a bit of heft to them. The Kangertech 50W mod that also comes as a kit paired with a SubTank mini is a great little mod, only slightly larger than the Cloupor Minis, and my only complaint on them is that you can't lock the buttons so it's very easy to accidentally adjust the wattage up or down without knowing it. The 75W TC kit comes with the new Top-Tank (top-fill subtank), and I've not tried them yet, but my SO has a top-fill Nano, which works well, and doesn't leak. Which also brings me to the Subvod kit... a 1300mAh large eGo style, non-variable, with a subtank Nano (smaller capacity subtank). I don't really like the non-variable battery, but they do make great backups on a budget. If you go with a mod that requires an 18650 battery, do yourself a favor and purchase quality, genuine cells... and I recommend the Samsung 25R5 (green) as the best all-around vaping battery, and they are also the most inexpensive, too. Well, there's my best-of...

That's the only reason I still use the V1 The V2 would be so much better if they kept that air-flow controller on the top! When I use the V2, I have to slip-stream a little air past the mouthpiece, like I do with the Russians or Aerotanks...

There are 1.8 Ohm coils available for the Triton/Triton2, and they have great flavor... and vape well at 12-18 Watts. I wish they had an in-between coil... like a 1.2 or 1.0 Ohm, but not yet Also, they make an RBA deck for it, which works pretty well, and lets you build your own coils to the resistance you want... if you're comfortable building? But, I do recommend the 1.8 Ohm factory coils... they work and taste great, although they may not last as long as you want before they get a tight-draw and lose flavor... I've been getting between 4 and 7 tank-fulls out of mine before having to change the coil-head

The 30 5-packs of Kanger coils I bought two years ago? Yes... 150 coils... yeah, I still have 4 boxes of the BCC left (for the KPT2), and just ran out of BDC (for my Aerotanks) about 3 months ago... so I bought another 10 packs of the upgraded Organic Cotton BDC, You can never have too many, Tam... I'm sitting on at least 9 packs of 1.2 Ohm Horizontal Subtank coils, and another 3 boxes of Ni200, but only 2 packs of Triton coils Guess I need to catch up? lol

Welcome to Vapor Talk... There is no such thing as a Mechanical "set" at any Wattage... Wattage is determined by Ohm's Law... power of your battery (Voltage) and the resistance of your coil (Ohms). To hit 80 Watts, you need 3.7V and a coil built to 0.17 Ohms... or 4.1V and a coil built to 0.21 Ohms. A MECHanical MOD is like a flashlight... ON or OFF... and it uses the full (available) power of the battery to energize the coil.

Hypothyroidism is a natural condition as we age, and he says himself in the video... "I sit around on my a## all day"... Lack of exercise, poor eating habits, lack of Iodine in your diet, and the simple fact of AGE all contribute to hypothyroidism. I personally think he's doing a great disservice to everyone in the vaping community by saying it's a "side effect of vaping", because it clearly is NOT. Nothing in the vaping ingredients, nor the volume of water he is taking (or not taking) have to do with his condition. Oh, BTW, the product he's hocking (Ultima)... is an electrolyte supplement that contains ... you guessed it... IODINE in the sodium content.... Your body needs Iodine to promote a healthy Thyroid gland. Here's the ingredients: Selenium, Zinc, Phosphorus, Calcium, Potassium, chloride, Sodium and Magnesium. Everything but the chloride content would contribute to fewer muscle cramps, and reduction of his hypothyroid symptoms/condition I also seriously doubt his Doctor's diagnosis of hypothyroidism... Typically, the condition includes greying hair, obesity, jaundice coloring, neck swelling (goiters), and loss of hair (which he obviously does not have an issue with, lol).

Your juice will determine how many Watts you use... When I was using a Nautilus, if memory serves, my favorite juice (50/50 PG/VG) tasted great around 16W, and started to get a burnt taste around 18-20W. My gal now uses a Nautilus for her "work-tank", daily. Her favorite juice is quite sweet and fruity, with Cinnamon (50/50 PG/VG), and 12W is about all it can handle before going burnt-tasting... and 1.6 Ohm BVC coils are all we've EVER used in the Nautilus.

What Ohm coil were you using with your eGo's tank? 1.8? 2.0? One good rule of thumb (but in no way is an absolute) when moving to lower resistance is to also lower your Nicotine by the same level... If you go from 2.0 Ohm coils to 1.0 Ohm coils... you cut your Nicotine level by half... if going from 2.0 Ohm to 0.5 Ohm (subOhm avg), then you cut your Nicotine by 75%... so if you were using 24mg at 2.0 Ohms, then 6mg at 0.5 Ohms would be a good starting point... you may need to go lower, or a little higher, but these are good starting points for reference

Yeah, it's hard to resist his eyes, and he's too darn smart... he's already bringing me his leash when he "wants" to go outside (not "needs" to go outside, lol). When he plays with the tennis ball, it completely disappears in his mouth.... He's also grown so much that he doesn't realize how tall he's gotten... I'll have to snap a picture of him tomorrow when he's up an about... I took him to the vet for another round of shots last week (@ 13 weeks), and he weighed-in at 42lb! He's outgrown his medium-size harness already, too... his chest measures 25" as of today, and he's only 14 weeks tomorrow

YAY, I'll start this off Best battery - for me would be the Samsung 25R (blue or green). They are cheaper than the other "premium" batteries, test to 20A continuous discharge, and last all day @ 2500mAh. My next choice is the LG HE2 or HG2... price and performance are great, but the Samsung are usually cheaper. Best MOD - That's a toss up for me... I prefer the Cloupor Mini (30W) and Mini Plus (50W-TC) for function, size and reliability, but I also dearly love my IPV-minis (V1 and V2), as well as the Wismec Presa 40W (for built-in battery) and the 75W-TC (size and it just works) Best Tank - I've got a few... Subtank Mini is a workhorse with plenty of available coil resistances and an RBA deck, so I'd say it's the best all-around tank you can get for under $30. I also like the Triton V2 for the same reasons as the subtank mini, but coils don't last as long. For starter and portable (okay if I lose it) tanks, I really love the Kanger AeroTank (V1 or V2 with V3 air-flow control bases) and KPT3-mini (lots of BDC coils out there in different resistances). For more advanced flavor and control... I can't praise The Russian 91% enough, but they are pricey and not for the novice! The Aspire Nautilus gets points from me, but not my favorite, but the SO swears by them, and regularly uses two in rotation. Best beginner kit - My #1 pick would be the 50W Kanger SubTank Mini kit. #2 would be the 75W-TC Kanger Top-tank mini kit. From there, the Subbox nano kit, SubVod kit, and Nebox all are good starters. EVic are good looking (but I don't own one), and the Aspire Pegasus kits with Triton, Triton mini, or a Nautilus are always a good starter too!

Either way works... add to the one you have, or start one to say "help me choose between these"... we read and comment either way

I'd not worry about all the different brands, but I would stick with a well-known name-brand for reliability. As a beginner, you're likely not going to need more than 20W, so getting a MOD that is over 50W is just paying for something you'll never use... like buying a Ferrari to drive 1-mile to work and back daily. I'd also recommend a tank system so you can fill it and vape for a while before refilling. Get something with factory coils in the 1.2-2.0 Ohm range. Having a tank with an available (on included RBA deck) is nice so you can expand into building your own coils after a few months of vaping (if you choose). Batteries for your MOD are a HUGE issue with us... stick with name-brand and buy from reputable sources. Samsung 25R or LG HE2/HG2 will be your best bang for the buck, and they are RELIABLE! For all the things I've listed... there are a few starter kits that will do all of these things for under $60, and they're from Kanger and Aspire primarily, but also some good ones from SMOK, Eleaf, Cloupor, and Joyetech to name a few... Once you decide on a few... narrow it down per-se... list out your selections and we'll be happy to weigh in on the pros and cons of them, and maybe point you to where you can get the best prices?

That's the beauty of vaping... personal style and personal choice There's lots of good devices out there, really... MODs, Tanks, RBA/RDA/RTA, Mechanicals, etc. We love to help people out, and help them spend their money, lol... but ultimately it comes down to what YOU prefer, and what you can afford (or what you can find locally if you're not an Internet shopper). My personal favorite is the Authentic Russian 91%, but they are pricey and not for the novice... and you still have to have a MOD to run it, lol... My second favorite is the Kanger Subtank Mini... next would be the Kanger Aerotank V1/V2 (with the V3 aif-flow controller). Mods... I like 'em small and under 75W... TC is not necessary, but I do use it... but my absolute favorites are the Cloupor Mini, Mini-plus, and the IPV Mini V1 (all of them take external 18650 cells).
