Christopher gave a great list above... and yes, the BCC (single coils) will work in the Aerotank V1 and V2, but the BDC (dual-coils) work far better for flavor and they seal better in the tank, which means less chance of leaking One thing you can do is take an old coil and remove the little silicone seal from the top of the coil... the little "hat" that sits on the coil shaft and covers the top of the coil / seals the coil to the air-tube... flip it upside down and slide it onto the shaft of a new coil and that extra bit of silicone will help bolster "gap" and seal the coil in the tank better. It's not always necessary, but if you find a coil that wants to leak a little onto your battery or out the air-holes... it's a quick fix! For best results... the single coils (BCC) fit the EVOD, Unitank, ProTank, ProTank2, ProTank2-mini, and T3D. The BDC fit best (and work best) in the remaining tanks @Christopher listed above. I still use the Aerotanks quite often, and have almost exhausted all my BCC... Like I said, I prefer the BDC for flavor and longevity, but I've used plenty of BCC in them without issue, other than the occasional coil that wants to leak, and the additional silicone seal fixes it right up!

We tried that route, but even with a smaller drip-tip she wasn't crazy about it... but she will use it more than she did, originally... lol... She's just set in her ways and really prefers her Nautilus over all the tanks I've set up for her. If I were to hide her Nautilus tanks... she'd grab a Subtank Nano before the Triton (V1 or V2)... and I think her next choice would be one of my Aerotanks... she's a MTL vaper and anything that gives her too much air is left on the rack for me to use

@Tam is right about the Triton... it is far better suited for MTL vaping (like the Aerotank or Nautilus) even though it does have slightly more air-flow. My fiance' loves her Nautilus, and she will use the Triton, but isn't fond of the large-bore drip-tip. And, if you make use of the top air-flow for lung-hits, you don't get as much vapor... There are dozens of good tanks out there right now, and I've not tried them all (and don't plan to) because I've found the one I like best, which is the Kanger Subtank mini, and it's little brother, the Nano. They have good airflow for lung-hits, coils are cheap (and lots of resistance variety), the mini's come with an RBA deck, and they are just plain reliable and bullet-proof vaping I run the 1.2 Ohm horizontal coils for flavor, but the 0.5 Ohm are great for clouds, and the optional SS or Ni200 coils are well suited for TC (although I'm not fond of the flavor of the Ni200). You can also use a variety of coil styles in them... OCC, SOCC, and the old BDC coils (Aerotank / KPT3) in a pinch. I've thought about the baby beast because everyone raves about them, but I'm not a cloud-chaser, so I've just not pulled the trigger on one yet... and may not unless I find one on massive sale or use my points to buy it...

I've not used one in a few weeks, but I still rock on my very first KPT3-mini, which is over 2-yrs old... and I was vaping on an Aerotank V2 (on a Cloupor mini) this afternoon while changing the clutch in my Probe I don't mind vaping on my older gear, actually I prefer them, when I'm working in the grease and grime... if they get dirty I just soak them in soapy water and use the sonic cleaner to get in the crevices.... and if I break one... I don't feel too bad... although I've not broken one in a LONG time (knocks on wood)... even though I'm hard as hell on them when I'm working in the yard or garage!

Your coils may be fine... it could be the cotton you're using? What type/brand of cotton are you using? And, can you post a picture of your build after you wick it? That will help a lot!

100mg Nicotine base is only 10% Nicotine! The other 90% is VG, PG or PG/VG mix. Just like your 6mg juices are 0.6% Nicotine... In order to buy PURE 100% Nicotine, you'd have to have a special chemical license

I've been rebuilding the horizontal OCC for quite some time... As mentioned above, building the coils on a 3mm mandrel makes a much better coil, and if you drill out the holes to 3mm, you can make it a lot easier on yourself to hold the coil in place while attaching the bottom, and wicking them is a breeze, as you "fluff" the cotton a bit and trim even with the side of the coil-housing. I've bought 200 of the FT clone coils in 1.2 Ohm, and so far they have been really good, although I must say one of the boxes contained 5 of 5 that were crap! None of them metered 1.2 Ohms, none of them maintained the same resistance as you used them, and they leaked like crazy The good news is that it takes only a couple of minutes to rebuild them, and I try to do 5 or 10 when I'm watching something boring on TV or just bored all-together, lol. I figure if I rebuild each head 3-4 times after using them the first time... I'll not have to buy coils for a while

Okay, here goes some facts... (and it will depend on the type of lift surgery they are doing)... If you are having implants, they make a tiny incision, work the implant into position and inflate it. It is non-invasive, but you will be very sore and bruised. If you are having any reduction (removal of skin), then it is a more invasive surgery and you should definitely avoid food, alcohol, and Nicotine 12-hours before surgery, and you should avoid any stimulant, alcohol, etc. for several days after surgery. Fact 1: (most) Doctors hate the idea of anyone smoking or vaping... so they want you to stop (period). Many doctors also have deals with Big Pharma and get kick-backs from prescribing medications such as Chantix, Nicotine inhalers, or patches (even though you can buy them OTC). So, if you are "self-medicating" with a vaporizer... you're taking money from their pockets! Fact 2: Hospitals have deals with Big Pharma to provide you with Nicotine patches (whether you want them or not) at the price of about $100/patch... billed to your insurance company. This is the way hospitals "control" Nicotine inside their walls. If Nicotine were a bad thing, they wouldn't hand them out like candy to all patients who use Nicotine... yeah, think about that one for a while.... Fact 3: Nicotine is a stimulant which raises your heart-rate... not a good thing right before invasive surgery Fact 4: Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor which increases blood pressure (slightly)... not a good thing right before invasive surgery It won't kill you to go without Nicotine for a day or two... especially if you are having an invasive procedure, you won't even want food/water for a day or two. If you are having a standard "lift", you'll be home and doing your daily routine after a few hours, and you should be perfectly safe to continue vaping a few hours after surgery. It won't kill you, nor will it have any adverse affects to the implants, incision, etc. As @Tam said, however, speak truthfully with your doctor before the procedure to know how it will affect you, and what you have to do to heal properly. But, take his advice on all the evils of vaping with a cautious and skeptical ear.

There have been studies conducted (and I don't have the links handy, but Google can find them)... one in particular was performed at the University of Kentucky... Nicotine is absorbed rapidly into skin, and even faster into the soft tissue of your mouth, tongue, and lungs. The hotter the vapor and the longer you hold it before exhaling (along with how deep you draw the vapor into your lungs) will factor how much you retain, and how much you exhale. Just remember, you are still absorbing it until it leaves your lips or nose. That being said, the best estimates (low and high) from the University study showed 70% absorption for mouth-only drag and quick exhale. Full lung-hits with a few seconds of holding it... resulted in 98%+ absorption. NOW... 2% upon exhale... distance of several feet to another person, air-currents, blah, blah, blah... you'd get more nicotine from eating a potato, tomato or eggplant than from second-hand vapor! Yes, Nicotine exists in EVERY fruit/vegetable in nature... it is a natural defense against insects. I agree he should be more considerate of others, but rest-assured you WILL NOT get cancer, COPD, asthma... or anything else from breathing second-hand vapor... and you WILL NOT become a nicotine addict from breathing second-hand vapor either

I agree with @VapeMama... nothing puts me out the door faster than pushy sales people, sales people that don't know what they are talking about (and think they do), sales people that are inattentive (don't listen to your needs/wants, don't acknowledge you in the room, etc)... and lastly, a shop that has a very poor selection of hardware AND juices and/or exorbitant mark-up in their prices!

Yes, you can mix different ratios of the two bases.... for example, mixing 50:50 you will get a mixture at 36mg strength... or 75:25 will give you a mixture of 18mg strength.

When you say "cartridge" and "lifting the coil"... are you talking about a cartomizer, clearomizer, tank, or RBA? Please provide the name (make/model) of the device you're using, so we can better diagnose the problem BTW, I loved my Ego-T batteries, but wasn't too fond of the Spinner 2's... too many issues with charging them

You are an adult You vape to replace smoking as your source of Nicotine You recognize that smoking is not healthy, and that vaping is a healthier alternative You didn't take up vaping as a non-smoker just to blow big clouds, do vapor tricks, or "be one of the cool kids" You contain your cloud chasing to the privacy of your own home (so as to not needlessly annoy others or cast vapers in a bad light, socially, publicly, or in the media) The question being, regarding underage vaping... and you nailed every one of my criteria above... Kudos for doing it with two sentences and a picture!

My grandmother smoked two packs a day for 87 years (started at 10, lived to 97), and also chewed a pack of Wrigley's gum every day, and drank a 6-pack nearly every night of her life... Doctors tried to list her cause of death as "smoking related" until her 47 grandchildren piled on top of him and said, "NO". My grandfather (her husband) died at 88, and never smoked a day in his life... he was a coal miner... again, they tried to list it as "smoking related"... :eyeroll: My dad died at 72, of Leukemia, from working with Asbestos for decades... and they tried to list his death as "smoking related", even though he had quit when he was 40 (after smoking a pack a day for 24 years and had a heart-attack due to stress and poor eating habits)... again... we had to step in and have the real cause listed. This is why I do not give a lick of credibility to "smoking related death" statistics.... As for minors vaping... well, the laws have made it illegal for anyone under 18 (or 21) to buy, posses, or smoke a tobacco product, but teens continue to be one of the larger age-groups for smoking... In my opinion, making it illegal only makes it more enticing... and that also goes for underage drinking, drugs, driving prior to having a license, firearms, etc. etc. etc.... I have no problems seeing a teen vaping to quit their smoking habit (that they probably picked up at the ripe age of 12), but I do have issues with ANYONE underage, vaping, that has never smoked... and I don't understand those adults that take up vaping to be "cool" or "do tricks"... and I'll leave it at that...

Yes, storing your e-liquid in the fridge is a great way to make it stay fresh longer... but only if you don't plan on vaping that bottle for a couple of years. I do keep my mixing supplies in the fridge (and freezer) to prolong their lives, but we're talking GALLONS of supplies, not 30ml bottles. now, if I mix a batch of 1-liter of e-liquid, and find I don't like it after I've vaped it for a couple months... I may store the remaining dozen 60ml bottles in the fridge so they won't go bad until I decide they're worth vaping again... but even when I mix up my ADV (yes, usually in 600-900ml batches), I don't store them in the fridge... they're on a shelf in my office, which is cool and dark... and I'll normally go though those 10-15 60ml bottles in a few months... so they don't go bad while waiting to be vaped. As for batteries... the old-school dry-cells made prior to the 1970's did "last longer" if they were kept cool, like in the fridge, but today's more advanced Alkaline batteries aren't helped in the least (usually harmed as @Bebop stated above) by putting them in the fridge. As long as they are kept cool... like normal room-temps... they'll be just fine in storage for more than 5 years. On a side-note... I bought a box-lot of vintage cameras a few years ago, and the Brownie camera flash had EveryReady batteries in it... from the early '50s... and they STILL WORKED to power the flash bulbs, and hadn't leaked in 60+ years of storage in someone's basement!

I still have (and use) tanks that I bought when I first started vaping... including the first "real" tank I bought... a KPT3-mini. Some of the older tanks, like the Nautilus, Davide, and Aerotank, are still sold today and are worthwhile to many vapers. As long as the tanks are in good condition and you can still get coils for them... why not use them, at least while you search for your new, "perfect" rig? BTW, what "older tanks" do you have??

Light, heat, and Oxygen are the things that degrade a juice. Nicotine is usually the first thing to go (dark color) due to Oxygenation. Generally, juices are good for a couple of years after they are mixed, and yes, if you keep the lids sealed tightly, dark colored bottles, away from heat and light... they will last longer than 2 years... how much longer? I guess it will depend on the flavorings, VG/PG ratio, Nicotine %, and of course, the quality of your ingredients.

Welcome to V|T! I'll agree with Tam... It would be helpful to know what you're using now before making suggestions. Who knows, you may have the perfect tank and just need to know about different coil options and possibly a higher-power or more versatile mod to reach your goals?

I've owned a Nemesis, and it wasn't my favorite... spring issues, lock-ring was a pain for sticking, and the top-cap wasn't that great for adjust-ability to remove battery slop or tank/RDA connection if the 510 was shorter... I gave it away. I've not owned a Fuhatten, but used one (in copper), and liked it a lot... IIRC, it had a recessed magnetic button and a really good heft to it. I own a brass Caravela by HCigar, but never used it... I bought it because it matched my other Nautical-themed mechs (Stingray and Windrose), lol, and shortly thereafter I stopped using mechs unless (like you) I'm testing a flavor on my RDA or just feeling nostalgic . For $10 each, why not grab all 4? But if you had to eliminate one, I'd drop the Nemesis from my list...

@Edna as you can see on the 3rd picture I posted... it is just a large number of 3/8" holes in the block... As long as the 510 connection can sit below the surface (and not snag in a hole that is too tight), the tank will be held just fine. I even move that block around from time to time (and when cleaning the desk/shelf) and unless I tilt it WAY over, the tanks don't fall off of it. Of course, the smaller 14mm to 18mm tanks may wobble a bit as you move it around... but the larger 22+mm tanks are rock-solid using only the 510 connection as an anchor.

For smaller tanks (with or without 510 connection), is used a 5/8" wood bit, and a 1" wood bit for the larger tanks... I think... but just use a bit that is slightly larger than the tank diameter... but for the tanks with 510 connections, I just used a standard 3/8" bit to drill the hole to a specific depth (marked with tape on the bit). On softer wood, tape over the wood will prevent chipping... harder woods (Oak), chipping is not an issue, usually.

Those are the little silicone caps that came with my old Kanger KPT2, KPT3-mini, and Aerotanks. Like @Tam said, those use to come on all tanks to cover the tips and spare coils were inside those covers too. I've collected dozens of them, and they work great to cover "most" drip-tips

Back in the late 80's, my cousin worked for one of the tobacco companies in a processing/packaging facility (doing their books)... she told me it cost 37 CENTS to make a pack of premium cigarettes (labor, packaging, paper, ingredients, and shipping... including factoring in utilities too), and at that time a pack was $1.50-$1.75 in KY. Today, it probably costs twice that... and a pack of "generics" is $4 here... and $12 in NYC? Last time I was in CA, I stopped by a smoke shop to check out their cigar selection (curiosity mostly) and was shocked at the prices! Things I would pay $4-6 for in KY were $14-20... all because of TAXES. Higher and higher taxes on tobacco is one of the main reasons the vaping has become popular, aside from being successful as a secession aid...
