Yeah good point. I would make sure the logo is actually etched like normal and not stamped. I doubt a counterfeit company would go through the hassle to etch the logo.

I bought mine in a 3 pack as well. I have never seen one with a black line. I would re-visit the B&M you bought it at and try to find out where he gets them from maybe? Not sure what to tell you honestly! Hopefully someone more experienced will know something I don't! Also, all of mine are the 1300maH not the 900, so maybe the 900maH has a black line and the 1300 has white?

I just purchased 3 of these 2014 models less than 2 months ago and all of them have white lines. You may have a counterfeit but I'm not experienced enough to tell you either way. Good luck! I'll also add that all but one of them have already broken. So let me know if yours is any better! Maybe I'm the one with counterfeits! Lol

On the dual coil note, I also noticed that with my protank 3 mini stock dual coils, I picked up a burnt taste much easier than with a single coil installed (obviously because of less heat). But this may also be what you are experiencing. I switched to the single coils and like them much better.

I will say though, even with my protank 2 working properly. I still like the protank 3 mini a lot better. Just seems to hit smoother and harder to me!

Thats why I was curious. I was just having the same problem with my protank 2, but when I switched to the standard coil heads that come in the 5 pack rather than the ones that come with the tank, the thing has been rock solid since. Not a drop of liquid anywhere. To each his own! Was just curious!

I have no reason to believe otherwise aside from the crappy quality. All logos and trademarks are as should be. But you ARE right...there is a chance they are fake.

Yeah it does! What sucks even more is I love the battery, just HATE the quality!

So today my second out of three vision spinners is no longer working. These batteries are less than 2 months old. What the heck is going on here? I've heard so many good things about them. Do I just have bad luck? First battery broke from a 2.5 foot fall onto carpet. Second one had issues to begin with (Loose internals) and has been allowing the lower contact point on the battery to contact the case causing it to get very hot in one little spot near the dial. I continued to use it making sure to keep my hand there and stop firing when I felt it get warm. Well it finally went out completely today as well. I'm very upset with the quality of these things and will be contacting Vision to see about getting them replaced. I should not have this many problems in less than 2 months.

Lol that same thing happens to me all the time as well. I live in sort of a suburb and my packages always end up in the bigger city for an extra day. So annoying. Let me know how you like the spinner 2, was thinking about trying one out actually. I've had not so great luck with the original spinners

No, I posted on another thread about how the vendors in my area are garbage. I went into one today, stood around for nearly 10 minutes before one of the 3 available employees said a word to me. I then walked out and went to the next one. They were overall pretty nice but all they would do is suggest things none of them actually looked at it for me to address the problem. Not to mention the coils were ridiculously expensive.
