the nfs before pro street and under cover are pretty dope. mario kart for the wii is crazy-fun. back in the gamecube days ssx3 was killer!

i wouldn't mind getting another ps2. have Rage Racer, by far the best version of ridge racer. hmm bet i could just hook up my 360 to the pc and play it on here if i find an emulator. i'm a beast at car games. none of my friends will play car games with me not one of them have beaten me at any racer. with shooters they have the chance to catch me off gaurd.

How To Clean Atomizers And Cartomizers!
Jolly replied to benjamin1990's topic in General Vaping Discussion
good vid if they are really gunked up you can put them in 1 cup water and 1 of vinegar, boil it for about 5 mins. clean them off under regular tap water, then 2 cups water boiling for 5 mins. dry and set them somewhere. vinegar has 3% acid that will break down the crust. -
lol, i modded that thing even more. made the plunger about an inch long then my brother painted it.. i don't like the look of the paint on there but w/e. the atty comes off but the connection is epoxied into it so..

COD FTW! i love the old school games but nothing is as gratifying as destroying the hopes and dreams of other online players.

got to drop a button inside the male rca like this. i am having issues getting the 510 battery connector in there with a button. there just isn't room so i am going to have my brother make me a new sleeve to toss on the rca adapter.
-
the tornado from totally wicked is, well, wicked. i would advise getting the mega batteries to go with it. 510 gives great vape and taste, that's what i have as an atomizer. the ego is the same thing as the tornado. so w/e you like more jump on.

i found out that the name Mad Maggie is already taken.. so i will have to figure another name here is a single AAA mod just like the MM this mod is much easier to do as all you have to do is shave down the (+) terminal and drop it into the tube.

Please Help Me Decide On Which One? Here Are My Stats
Jolly replied to posts's topic in New Vapers Forum
1.) I am afraid that I will buy an ecigarette that will be too strong for me. some people that chain smoke like a lower nic and some that smoke a little want a lot. depends on the person, i say go for a high nic content and see how you like it. 2.) I would prefer an ecigarette that doesn't look like an actual cigarette if possible. THe pen looks great...but is it reliable? the ones shaped like a cig aren't that reliable. the batteries are just to small and last thing you want to do is have 10 batteries all charging and swapping them out. 3.) I am not electronic savvy so if it breaks, I will have to buy a new one. there are three parts to an e-cig. the mouth piece that holds a cart full of e-juice, atomizer that heats up the juice to become vapor, and the battery. if one of the items broke you can just replace that piece. 4.) Is there one out there that is reliable? ego and the tornado are good for first timers, with the addition of a large battery. both of those are basically the same thing as they both run a 510 atomizer. thats what i use and love it. the main types of atomizers people use are 510, 801, 901, and 808. 5.) Maybe a two-pack so I won't go back to actual smoking while waiting on a replacement? to avoid having to go back to smoking just make sure you have extra batteries and atomizers. 6.) stealth smoking is ideal i'm with you on this one, i actually modified a single AAA flashlight to an ecig using a 10440 protected li-ion battery. 7.) Do the kits have everything that I need? kits tend to give you the starting point of what you need. if you get a kit order about 3 extra atomizers and batteries. say you go for the tornado kit, the kit doesn't come with their mega battery. what some people do with that is skip the kit and order just the parts. it cost more to do it that way but then you have just what you want. 8.) Can you tell me all of the supplies I need so I can buy them upfront? the break down would be the kit or parts you will be using, and extra parts, juice. this list could be longer if you wanted to mix your own juice. if you want to do that OR want to have the best tasting e-juice i ever encountered hit up www.diyflavorshack.com 9.) I don't know about the fruit flavors...I want something similar to wha t I smoke now...Marlboro light 100. i used to smoke marb light menthol. i actually like the fruity flavors. my daily vape is Caramel-Apple i made. my nic level is around 18mg but i am thinking of going up to 23mg. 10 do need big battery life as I do smoke a lot. watch the mAh of the battery, the higher the number the longer it lasts. 11.) Is the tip hot? no but the atomizer can get hot, not to the point you will get burnt but hot enough you don't want to touch it for that "just in case" factor, lol. 12.) oes a case come with it? kits usually have a "case" but its not the type you would go walking around with, not sure why they call them a case it's actually a box. depending on what you get, an eye glass case will work. 13.) Do I need an ashtray still to hold it? nope it is all vapor. like when you boil water, just this isn't water boiling. 14.) Can it burn something/someone? never heard of anyone being burnt. 15.) Do I pocket it when out and about? Or hold it until it cools off? i can chain vape and then drop it into my pocket. 16.) Eventually does everyone quit smoking? depends on the person. that's the idea though. 17.) Lowering the nicotine and just blowing the vapor? yes, but you can keep vaping the nic.. i haven't read a study that has any info about nic being harmful. in most cases it actually has effects that i want to hang onto. weight loss, making you happy, etc... 18.) is there any type of smell to it? Or scent? If you are using pineapple scented flavor, does everyone around you smell it too? i blew my watermelon into a friends face to see if he could smell it when i first got my kit. he said it smelled like a weak watered down watermelon. -
Was working on this a little bit a few hrs ago. The Mad Maggie! this is a mini maglite that takes 2 AA batteries. currently running two 14500 batteries in parallel, as to get double the battery life. a maglite is actually set up in a series configuration will turn two 14500s into a battery pack. (not done yet, thats for tomorrow) to do that we will use heavy duty packaging tape and aluminum foil. that way it will still fit into the tube with out extra work. (pics tomorrow) took out the spring in the bottom since that will not be needed. there are other applications you can use this for. with the rca you could cut a Female usb cable end and wire that to a RCA cord. with this wire you can power any portable device that has the option to plug into a computer to charge. say I'm on a long flight and want to watch movies via my zune. my 120gb zune lasts all of about 1hr 30mins of video time. with this plugged into it not only would i get more run time it will also charge the zune. most devices now days are usb chargeable, some being things we use a lot like cellphones, psp, ipod, zune, lol even an xbox 360 controller. if the device still takes a 3.7v battery and has another type of plug, make another to connect to it. pics: as you can see there will be a male RCA connection that will house a 510 adaptor i pulled from a dead battery. this RCA will also have a Tact switch installed tomorrow. i left the tact switch off the body of the battery case becasue 1.) i don't have room, 2.) it makes it so that any device can be added onto it if i need a constant power source. Now after all this is done i will have to devise a way to charge it. A dummy battery will be made and have a male rca plug that runs to the Mad Maggie from the regular charger i use for these batteries. I will post info on that tomorrow also.

What Kind Of Atomizers Are Used For High Voltage?
Jolly replied to Popsicle's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
get the 2ml cartimizers.. that's what most of the over the limit people do. they say the two are perfect for each other. -
if both were built identical, in relation to quality, yes. for a while i had to use only the mouth piece and a cut usb cord to vape. both stock batteries blew the same day. usb is 5v @ .5amp. i have been using the same 3 attys for over 80 days. as soon as i say this i know all three will blow, but, i don't understand all the fuss about attys and how people say they only last a month or two. maybe its because i split mine up on usage? my silver atty that i scraped off all the paint on is the one i tend to always use though.. so *shrugs*. just a bit of info that i read; the 14500s *maybe the others also* rated when fully charged can/will(?) put out up to 4.(something) i think it was 4.7v at it's peak charge. found that bit of info on a flashlight forum. no idea what the duration of that voltage is, could just be the initial spike of power. if you want to run 5v you can run two of them and get a freebie 5v regular as a sample from texas instruments

pretty much i want broke/not working ecig stuff. i can rip them apart and make other ecig things from the fittings. also i have yet to burn up an atty but want to try and repair one. figure if i can repair one, i can repair them all, lol. this was kind of a way to figure out if people want to either donate broke things or have someone mod things for them.
-
was thinking about posting services to take in peoples broken items. i keep a few things and out of the rest build them w/e mod they want from DOA and anything they want to thrown into all items would need a tact switch. radio shack sells the ones i use @ $4. so the person could either pick it up and ship it or drop me a paypal for w/e is needed. just figured i have time to kill, and want extra stuff i can use to mod things later down the road. this a service people would want? even the most basic of things can be made. like a 5v passthrough, all you need is a dead battery, tact switch, usb cord, solder, and a sturdy hand. $4 for a passthrough and you recycled some of the battery you would have pitched. for a little more you could also put in a led.

lr is not identical to the vaper of a 5v. also the lr will burn out faster. are you intrested in making your own 5v mod? if so i can give you a parts list and you can choose what to toss all that stuff into. also. batteries matter a lot. say you have a stock 180mAh 3.7v like most come with. stepping up to say something like 14500 that has the same 3.7v but the flow of power is steady. fully charge a 510 battery and vape is nothing like my single 14500 battery. it is at the least 2 times more vaper. sometimes it actually chokes me. in short higher volts = more vaper = more flavor = super happy.

What 5V Device Would You Recommend?
Jolly replied to StringDancer's topic in General Vaping Discussion
something else you could do with your current setup is get a LR atty. they are listed as being comparable to a 5v -
that's a good idea. i might make a friend one of these and that would make Assembly a lot easier if i dropped a switch in the plunger. also i would need to get some flat contact wire. sort of like the tabs they put on the tops of battery power packs. would make the clearance from battery to (-) wire no issue.

this is the foam you want. (see attached image) the 3 pack is somewhere in the area of $3-5 and will last you a life time. you can wash it out and reuse it tons of times. the best way to vape though is two drops in the atty of your choice of juice and suck away. it's free and you tend to get better vaper and taste, well imo. this is reminding me i should throw all that blue foam stuff away. oh theres another, "better", way to do this if you want to use carts. if your carts came with caps then you can use a straw, like a McDeez, and the cart cap. it doesn't over fill the atty and keeps it just right. search google for: zfm no filler mod i would post the link but when i ran my forums i wasn't to happy about people posting links to other sites like my own.

vaping on the 510

thanks jeff i can't get this smile off my face. almost as happy as the birth of my kids, lol. Edit: if i were to do it again.. i would cut that buffer pad in half. i want more plunger in the back side as it is kind of long and sticks out a good bit.
-
atty - connector - switch - buff pad - screw little bit of dremel detail and putting things together. i pulled the neg wire out then right back in. pretty much had to find an easy way to run that power line but have it short. this works great. out of the rabbit hole and back in the plunger will press and hold the wire to the battery. Who needs doctors when you have my machines and their scary needles.

I got my 4 pack of 14500 batteries and charger today for $20 with free shipping. i had to make something today because my brother didn't finish the metal work on my mini maglite and it is at his work. so, i went ripping threw the house to find something to make a battery mod or anything from. One thought comes to mind when i look at this thing. "who needs doctors when you have my machines and their scary needles". i still need to drop in some epoxy but for the most part, it's good to go. started by sodering 18g wire to the (+) & (-) another shot wire on the (+) terminal. i filled in the middle hole because i don't want juice to leak into there. it looks burnt because i sort of burnt it to the table.. you can see the burn mark on said table. this is the syringe, originally designed to flush out your eyes. Momentary switch connected to the (+) the out side ring is the (-) section. the silver is the atomizer. that screw will be connected to the (+) and go into the round dremel buffing pad also in the picture. i put it like this because i also needed a buffer to keep the (+) from the (-) once assembled. also makes a wall to hold back the epoxy that is used. wire leading off the switch, through the buffer pad, to the screw. head of the screw makes contact with (+) of the 14500 battery.
