  1. cinnamon menthol? that sure would cover up the menthol taste.. thats for sure! they actually have big bottles of lorann's cinnamon up at the plaza above my house. also have cotton candy, bubble gum, and one or two others. they even had fruit punch. the little ones were a buck and not sure the cost on the big cinnamon.
  2. i have straight menthol. i don't care for the taste so what should i add? all flavor is from loranns. strawberry-kiwi cherry coffee raspberry (haven't tried at all, thinking i am not going to like the flavor) english toffee caramel root beer also have grape and watermellon but i am pretty sick of the watermelon and grape didn't really taste good with menthol.
  3. your right about the wick hodge. but it's wrapped up in the coil. here is sort of a break down of one now the wick is free on the end but is what it actually looks like before you remove it.. sort of, thats a picture of replacing the coil with new fiber in it.
  4. i had one like that as my first ecig you don't need to take it apart but just lay it level as to advoid leaking liquid from a new cart into the auto battery or mouth piece.
  5. fagtastic works it's a version of how i address my *** friends.. that or no-bewbie-girlfriend
  6. fluval isnt something that will produce a smoke.. at least not with a 3.7v battery. i have not heard of one person even melting it. a while back i used it a lot.. never had a single issue with it. though it is a tad annoying refilling a cartridge. you would be better to drip on an atty and if you want something to fill use a cartomizer.
  7. neither because both are bloat ware! linux - Mandriva 2010.0 going to install 2010.1 at some point. apple costs way to much for the computers, OS, and Parts. pc is cheap! if you build your own you don't have to get windows thus letting you have the free range to install linux. depending on what linux distro you install it will run faster on the same specs as either mac or windows.
  8. you may get a kick out of my post http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/7418-mail-man-gets-rath-of-jolly/page__p__67443__fromsearch__1#entry67443
  9. well i had some theories about what all happend but, no, you shouldn't have an issue with LR atty. they will have a different span on how long your battery will last though. say you get 4 mins of battery life on regular, lr would be less than that 4mins of run time. regulars from 4.5 - 5v is nice on 5v. at some point i might even try 5.5v.
  10. just to clear up some info about the wick, the coil is actually wrapped around the wick. then part of that wick is left out to pull the liquid to the coil. glad to hear you got it working w/o the taste of plastic.
  11. nope. i use the volcano mouth pieces myself. even on my 5v mods i don't have issues with them when i chain vape. you must have plastic burnt onto the bridge of the atty or maybe somewhere inside is a small piece. look inside and see if you can see anything dark, the bottom outside ring of the atty should be all silver and flat. the bridge is the only thing that looks mesh and is going to be a pain to check but for the most part it is do-able. i figure it would be on the side of the bridge, or s sliver dropped under it. if worse comes to it. you can rip out the bridge and still use it.
  12. is there a cart in the mouth piece? if so pull it out because you're burning it.
  13. if 3.7v doesn't hit hard enough try 5v. i wouldn't use 5v on nic as well though or it would totally loose the ability to feel like the 0 nic hit harder.
  14. How long does a standard non mod, 510 battery last? What is a good price for replacements? there are different kinds of "standard" you have the stick kind of batteries that are made to look like a cig. those last about 30-60mins per charge and then take about 2hrs to charge. you have the ego standard battery, might get about 2-4hrs per charge. How long does an atomizer last 510 basic? What is a good price for them? mine that i bought threw valcanoecigs.com lasted me 90+ days before i boiled them in vinegar till the vinegar bunt down to nothing but sticky ash.. yeah, that stucked. anyways i'm sure they would have lasted a lot longer, had i not killed them. Are you better off buying starter sets once in awhile or do you just buy replacement parts? that all depends on your current needs. if you just need a battery and some attys just get them. if your charger, battery(s), and w/e else are on the fritz i might consider a kit. How do you store liquid?? How do you store FILLED cartridges? How do you know what liquid is in each cartridge, everyone says smell it, but honestly my smeller does not work that well, any other ideas? i just leave mine out. if you buy a huge stock pile, toss them into the fridge. keep them in the package that says what they are. it will be a box and inside the box will be the carts. most people don't use carts and stick with dripping into attys or buying juice and filling empty cartomizers. What do you always have as a back up? Like how many and what? batteries, batteries, batteries! attys, attys, attys! cartos, cartos, cartos! juice, juice, juice! now i use mods, so i dont really need to go snagging a ton of batteries. but i have 5 at all times (used to be six but a friend needed one). last thing you want is not to be able to get a drag. How long will you be able to stand my questions.................hahahah i like questions
  15. correct. issue with lifepo4 is that they do not have a smart charger. so you have to get a different one for each kind.. as i have read. they are the way to go though. just wish i snagged those on my order and not the li-ions
  16. you don't need another brand an ego is a 510 model. go snag some 510 cartomizers and you're good. one thing about cartos, it's best to wash them out before using. the rubber plugs give them a odd oder and taste. i flush mine with water then let them dry in the back of a car window on a sunny day.
  17. discount or not, it's not worth more than about 40-50 for that entire kit. batteries at $40? wow, you can get the same batteries around $12 on just about any other site. well, sites that dont try to rip you off. even the batteries at 12 arent worth that price. you will get about 30-60mins per battery. the batteries usually take about 2hrs to recharge. my first ecig was from volcanoecigs.com for their magma kit with extra stuff and 2 day shipping ran me $90. not a bad kit, considering i knew nothing about ecigs. though for that same 90 i could have gone with something a lot better. think of it like this. propelyne is synthetic, much like with drugs you can have either the real thing or the cheaper biochemical manufactured kind. if you want an ego, hit vaporgalaxy.com luke is running a sale. you can even catch him in video chat. as for needing to read more on the forums. many of the members that offer help will have a mod or 20. like roober (heather) collecting every thing she can, lol. the mods tend to take 10440, 14500, cr123a, or 18650 batteries. the numbers are the size and type of battery. how the numbers work 14cm wide, 50cm long 0= cylindrical. the 10440 is about the same size as the AAA the 14500 is about the same size as the AA a mod will generally be 3.7 volts or 5 volts. some do go as high as 6 volts and others have different selectable voltages. all starter ecigs will be 3.7 volts. those that go with mods tend to either want to add to their collection, want cheaper priced batteries, look for something that is their personal style, or want something with a higher or different range of voltage. higher voltage = more throat hit and more vapor. not something a new vapor should jump right onto. now you asked about what mg you should go with. i would advise 18-24mg, personally i found it hard to stop till i hit 24mg. every one is different though. someone that smoked non-filtered may perfer 6mg, another that smoked ultralights may find their sweet spot at 24.. i tend to tell people grab some of each, 3ml, that they think they would like and try them and see what they like best. last thing you want is 30ml of something that just isn't giving you the nic level you desire.
  18. - yet there were many times I took a drag and got a mouthful of juice! thats more of a issue with the atty or cart being to full of juice. attys are best suited for dripping with no cart attached, just a mouthpiece - The 2 atomizers don't even work anymore either. batteries are already both dead! are these auto or manual. if manual do the center connector in the batteries have a hole in them? attys don't always last long, though it could be a issue with the batteries on why they arent working. - I don't believe the cartomizer is equal to a pack of cigarettes by any means! not sure about a carto being a pack of cigs, they don't last me long when i fill them. - is a reputable "made in the USA" company that has excellent products, excellent prices, and ships to Canada affordably. These cheap "made in China" products are crap! only thing you will find in the states are mods. .. the first reply didn't have all this because my browser crashed and i lost it all. there was more detail but i'm not feeling like trying all that again. if you want something that is the standard, get an ego. if you don't want to dump money down the drain on batteries, a simple mod with some batteries will do you. though some mods do cost big bucks.
  19. if you are fixed on a "kit/starter" i say ego. for me, i think it's insane to spend $25 on a single battery. you can get 900mAh 14500 batteries to toss into a mod or ones that take cr123a, 18650s, etc and they are about $5 for a two pack. charger is around 9ish. so pretty much 4 batteries, that last longer and cost less + charger is less than a single ego battery. just had this discussion in video chat today.
  20. pick me up and i'll talk to them. if they get snippy or have that "pfft" look.. i'll make sure nothing can make noise in that apt.
  21. you have any vary-mods other than that so far? i'm going to build a compact single cell vary. just waiting on the parts to come in. uses a single cr123a. tube design.
  22. to build this you only need two different things to add to a straight threw pt this http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?WT.z_header=search_go&lang=en&site=ca&keywords=679-1874-ND&x=22&y=15 and a resistors attached to the pegs you will use on the slid swith to drop the 5v. you could even use a ego battery sized pvc pipe to build it so that there is room for the slid switch.
  23. most of my stuff the cups with attys and cartos are mainly all dead attys people have sent me.
  24. lot of questions but out of them i will have a huge output of %, $, time, value, and w/e else i can figure out by visiting the sites and pulling even more info. this will be a long time project i'll be working on.
