it does have adjustable airflow, its opened up all the way and my build looks very similar to that one just thicker wire. the wicking looks identical though. edit: I wish i had it on me I would send a pic, but ill bring it to work with me tomorrow.

thanks for the tips smith. I rebuilt it with 26 guage and organic cotton, but im getting a really tight draw. Just need to adjust the amount of cotton I have in there and I think it will be sorted.

i built one with 2 stove tops and idk if it just blazes through juice but i soaked the wick and my second hit was super dry.

this sounds similar to the 3D, just a bigger tank and instead of the tank being below the coils its above it. slight differences, but in my experience the more primitive the better. This seems to have too many working parts that could break.

top 5 is hard, but I always run 7 wrap 24g sleeper on my stillare same as christov, and I am playing around with some stove top coils. I am sitting here looking at the coils, already built, just dont know if i want to install them or not.

well, it usually reads at .25 when i build it normal (not parallel) so I'm not too good on the math, but yes I thought it would test lower too.

I built this yesterday for my 18650 cartel mod and stillare RDA, it read at 1.9ohms, this is the first time I have built a parallel coil using one strand of wire (pain in the butt) it vapes good for the most part, but just gets hot and drains the hell out of my battery. I put it on my 26650 mutant today and it seems to be better, mainly because of the 3500mah battery as opposed to the 2100mah on the VTC4.

first few days I was smoke free I was a stressed out mess, but it got better quick.

I used to vape on the job until they cracked down on it, but I carry my 26650 mutant with a stillare RDA, not practical for a carry-around, but I'm not a practical person. I am in the Army by the way.

the sony VTC4 is my battery of choice, but it has a 70 amp pulse that usually gives me a burnt flavor if I'm using a kayfun, but the VTC5 seems to be better for that. I use a panasonic as well for builds over 1ohm and havent had a problem with them.

you may be trading one habit for another, but you are trading a cancerous habit for a seemingly much safer choice (even though research blah blah blah incunclusive that, not enough time to research long term effects) either way it seems to be a healthier option. Second, have you tried other methods of quitting? did they work? is vaping working? Thats really the key, he just needs to understand that whatever keeps you from smoking traditional cigarettes is a good thing and he should be on board with it.

for the battery charger, I would go with the intellicharger i4, and a sony VTC 5 would be a good battery for that setup in my opinion. As for the ohm reader, eleaf seems to be the way to go.

to lostsoul: I really liked the orchid, havent bought or built one yet, but when I tried my friends I was on board to vapehappy: Before I started dripping, the double barrel coil was my favorite build on the kayfun, but this was back before I started having all the problems with them. I used 80% VG and went leak free for a long time, but something just happened lol, maybe I was just getting too comfortable and rushing through my builds, I'm not sure. It may be worth revisiting.
