Check this out. It's hard to explain. But molten glass is dropped into water rapidly cooling it, thus making it a solid again. Because the outside is cooled faster than the inside, clipping the 'tail' of the drop created an interesting effect shown (and explained in layman's terms) in this video.

The Subtank-Mini has the same features as the original Subtank, but instead of having a 25mm diameter, it's 22mm, which will fit flush on many 18650 mods (including Aspire's new CF 18650). It holds 4.5ml of e-liquid (instead of the original Subtank's massive 6mm juice capacity) and it's available for pre-order here for $40.98 shipped (that's the least expensive I've found).

The Subtank-Nano doesn't have the RBA feature...it's strictly an OCC clearo, has a diameter of 18½mm, and holds 3ml of juice. It's also available for preorder here for $37.98 shipped (also the least expensive I've found).

I'm preordering the Mini this weekend as well as an Aspire CF 18650 mod to put it on...I'll keep y'all posted.

Since you bought your Atlantis from Sweet-Vapes, it should be authentic. I bought a mini Aerotank from them last year, and the bottom was damaged. I emailed them, sent the tank back, and got a new one. Perhaps there's just a manufacturing defect, or yours is damaged? It can't hurt to see if they'll let you swap it for another.

I went to a shop I frequent when I'm in that particular town today. The owner has a Subtank and I was discussing my noticeable difference between flavor versus the Atlantis. He told me that he has seen 2 Atlantis tanks come in since Christmas and the customers complained about poor cloud performance. After verifying what juice they were using he has surmised that these two are clones.

He asked where they purchased them and they both purchased them from another vape shop in the area for $25.00. He put a real Aspire coil in them and the difference was night and day.

Not saying you have a clone but is it a possibility?

I did, they had a cyber Monday sale and I got it for 20% off. $160 for the shark skin,mod and a free 30ml of juice. Its spendy but an awesome device!

You both should check out Pbusardos youtube vid on it. Not sure if they all have the issues, but some of them are concerning. Not trying to put it down, just a safety thing. Please watch it.

Yep. Just like Bcarter said. They're the same single coil KPT coil you use in KPT and KPT2. The VT Store has them in different ohms.

Vapor talk store has them in 5 packs for $5.99 as do about every supplier. Not hard to find they are the universal KPT coil.

Yep. 30g is smaller compared to 28g and also gives a higher resistance. 26g is thicker than 28g and lower resistance and it keeps going down. I think if you can fit them in your rda you can go all the way down to 22g but I've never needed to go lower than 26g and usually use 28g.

I've only had the quasar for a day but I like it so far. It has air flow control for double or single coil builds, a main reason I got it since I like single over double coils. What I don't like it's that the o-rings are really snug and takes more effort to remove the cap to drip. It does have a reduced chamber for better flavor.

yes it's an authentic I got from Kidneypunchers, they do have some in stock. People have been getting in their copper quasar this week due to a manufacturing delay of a month or so. They also have the derlin quasar version but I haven't looked to where that version is sold

If I ever do decide to get to 0 nic, as soon as I do I will be having a fire sale on all my vape gear. To me, its like O'Douls. I do not see the point.

Just my opinion. I do not vape because I enjoy it. I vape to not smoke cigarettes. Its that simple for me.
