Are you using organic cotton? if so, you may be getting a slight dry hit. This happens when you roll the cotton to tight. If not, get some, it will have a slight after taste for the first couple draws, but will fade quickly.

Ok. First things first, the term you are looking for is "vapor". Second, the PG carries the flavor and throat hit, VG carries the vapor production and some of the sweetness. I'm not sure what kind of device the "Zen" is. The VTR you have is a great APV (advanced personal vaporizer)! Be advised though, that a higher VG juice may not wick as well due to being a thicker liquid. The higher PG juice you have coming to you isn't gonna help your vapor production.
If your atty (atomizer) is a bottom coil style, then wicking won't be as much of an issue with higher VG. But clogging and dry hits can/may happen. Hope this helps!

As far as pushing the fire button, I push it a half second before I inhale, and hold it down during the toke.

Try a slow..longer pull...lhard fast pulls don't let the vapor develop..

RBAs were really not meant to used on a twist. As fishguy said just get a KPT 2 pro or Mini and rebuild the atty cartridge. Once you get good at rebuilding those, moving to RBA would be your next step,

Probably the best customer service I have had in a long time. When I received my box this last month one of the bottles had a faulty safety cap which then caused it to leak red eliquid all over every bottle in the box. I called and explained this to Chris at zamplebox and told him I don't feel comfortable vaping a product that has been open prior to me getting it and has now contaminated the other bottle.
