  1. Hi Kilani, welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! Congratulations on being analog-free since the end of July! I ordered my eGo from Janty USA! The eGo is a great pv, and you will love the 6-12 hours between charges. Yes, the kit will come with five pre-filled cartridges however, In addition, I recommend ordering at least a 10ml bottle of e-liquid to replenish the carts. When you get situated, you might consider direct dipping e-liquid into the atomizer (there are videos that will help you) or perhaps you'll want to check out using a cartomizer which is an atty and filler in one unit. There are also videos on filling cartos. I can't really help you with a cigar-like tobacco flavors, but they are out there. Others here may recommend some and answer your question regarding the nic equivalent of what you're vaping currently. You might want to check out the Supplier Link at the top of the page here. Good luck! Don't hesitate to ask questions!
  2. Wow Uma, what a sweet synopsis! After sampling many, I happen to be at the present time not into fruit or candy while leaning more toward the tobacco flavors. This was helpful! The thing is, I don't think that the "tobacco" flavors really taste like tobacco. Maybe my taste buds have rolled themselves into little balls over the years, but I don't taste it. Anywayz, personally I'm a huge fan of Dekang RY4 and Dulcis !
  3. Hi, sorry about the harshness in your throat. Gosh, it could be a lot of different things or variables thereof. The eGo is a powerhouse for creating and producing lots of vapor. It could be that you're still acclimating to vaping. It could in fact be the juice, and the nic strength. On occasion I will experience harshness from vaping certain flavors. I also think it has something to do with the attys. Sometimes it takes longer to break them in, and sometimes an atty just doesn't deliver. I have certain periods in the day where my throat feels more sensitive than at other times. As many vapers say, e-liquid flavors are subjective to the user. I wouldn't give up. Hopefully you've been able to order some flavors that you think you'll like, and maybe go down to a medium or low nic strength. It can be a real trial and error situation. Gluck!
  4. Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! You cannot go wrong with an eGo! You just can't ! Good luck, have fun, and let us know how it goes for you!
  5. Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! I have to agree on the longer battery life and versatility of the Janty/Joye eGo. Both the 510 and eGo offer a PCC for charging on-the-go. Vaping will never be exactly like smoking analogs. Imo it is way better! Breathing better is No. 1, and the list goes on. This is not a sales pitch. It is the truth for many here and everywhere who use pv's. Vaping is an alternative to analogs and also imo has a far-reaching impact on the ability to set any type of personal goal a person can have. Gluck!
  6. This video is hysterically well done! You have my vote! Gluck!
  7. Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! Whatever your choice ends up being, we're pretty sure you're going to love vaping! Good luck and let us know how it goes for you!
  8. Thanks Uma, it's a great, great piece! You can't read a better or more succinct testimonial, though I wish there would have had a shout-out for the VT Forum!
  9. Hi, welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! Glad you're here! Oh my, there are so many suppliers to choose from. You might want to check out the Suppliers link at the top of the page here and do some price comparison. I ordered my eGo from Janty USA. They are not the cheapest, but provide a quality product and personally have had wonderful service from them. Others may weigh in with their supplier. You might want to start out with a higher nic level, maybe a 18/16mg and work your way down. There are many here who vape 0 nic. Read as much as you can, watch the videos, and don't hesitate to ask questions. There will always be someone to answer them. Good Luck!
  10. Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! Good luck to your husband! Eventually he will grab the reins to maintain his pv, I'm sure. All your questions will be answered here so don't hesitate to ask. Kitsune, I didn't know you had a 900 mAh?!
  11. Congratulations on your new eGo! The word of the day is backups! Enjoy!
  12. It's great to see and hear you again! Great review even though I probably won't try this flavor!
  13. Hi, you're absolutely right about not being hard on yourself. Everyone's experience in transitioning from analogs to vaping is slightly different. I don't believe there is any right or wrong here. Hopefully you have spare attys and can try a new one, perhaps eventually try a LR atty, or try a higher nic level. Gluck!
  14. For too long I smoked about a pack and-a-half a day. Got it down to around 3/4 of a pack. Started vaping at 24mg/+ or - 10ml a week. Currently it's 18mg/probably slightly less than 10ml (mostly bcuz I'm not spilling so much )

Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! Glad you're here!
  16. Hi again, there is a Suppliers link at the top. You can go through the list and see who will offer a 50/50 combo or any combo of VG/PG for that matter. Gluck!
  17. Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! I get some pretty good TH's with an all PG. TH also depends on the nic content, i.e., 24mg will deliver a nice TH. There's a lot of info here on the forum on the topic. The e-liquid video review section can help you out as well.
  18. Happy happy Birthday! Happy happy Vaping!
  19. Hi, it's a shame that it's so much easier to go get a pack of analogs than it is to get supplies for a pv. Try not to be hard on yourself that you have to smoke analogs for the time being. There's a little learning curve that comes with e-cigarettes, and as others have expressed, backups are a key part of vaping. Hang in there!
  20. Hi, congratulations again. I was just so incredulous that I was not smoking analogs the day after I began vaping. It still amazes me after three months!
