I don't remember seeming this post before. There are some liquids imo that only pose as having flavor, like Almond! I've gone from 24mg to 18mg and sometimes 16mg, and detect no change whatever in flavor.

Hmmmm...my eGo seems to be in my hand all of the time (or jean pocket)! I carry supplies around in a small see-through make-up bag (which you may or may not want to do)!!!lol

Hi, I was excited in the beginning to try various flavors of e-liquid. It just seemed like the thing to do. But as I near the four-month marker, that has become less of a desire. I, too, have one flavor (Dekang RY4 or VT Dulcis) that is my constant go-to vape, and I sporadically switch during the day with a choice of all of the other flavors I've purchased. Amazingly, I taste everything these days and I smoked for many, many years. I agree that VG will soften any TH. Everyone has a unique experience with flavors and I'm pretty sure you'll arrive at your destination in what suits you. Good luck and don't forget to have fun with it!

Very resourceful! You might want to try the Vapor Talk Store for e-liquid (link at top of page)...you won't be waiting two weeks !

Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! Don't be nervous ! We'll help you out! Enjoy!

Hi, well it could be all of those things or none of that ! If you are vaping a higher strength nic that could produce a stronger TH and cause sensitivity. If your e-liquid is an all PG base, PG will tend to dry out your throat. It is recommended to drink lots of water when vaping. If you're refilling a cartridge with filler and it's not lined-up with the bridge/wick in the atty, fibers could be touching and burning as the atty heats up the juice. Also if the cart is not lined up, the plastic of the cart can melt at the top and that could cause some irritation from inhaling. Sometimes it could be the way you're inhaling, how the vapor hits the back of your throat. I hack from time to time, but it's mostly because my throat is dry. There is a veteran poster here named "snubber" who started a thread on I think it's called "Hacking a Lung" or "Anybody Hacking a Lung". Try a search, maybe it will help. Gluck!

Hi, you might want to post a separate thread to receive some further feedback and suggestions. Your unit looks to me to be a knock-off of a Joye eGo with a 900mAh battery. I'm assuming it uses a 510 atomizer or it looks like a prefilled 510 cartomizer came with the unit. There could be a number of reasons why the unit is not performing up to speed.

Wow, that's quite a story! Thanks for sharing it! Congratulations on being analog-free! Good luck tomorrow !

Hi, perhaps others on the forum will have further and more concrete suggestions, but I would begin by checking the "Supplier" link at the top of the page and going through them. The supplier's website will tell if you if they ship to Canada. We have the Vapor Talk Store, but not sure if they can ship to Canada either. I can't remember if Health Cabin (China) ships to Canada. This may become a little tricky for you. I'm not really knowledgeable about the fact that if Canada has banned e-cigs can they be shipped to you at all? I really wish you good luck, and hope there is a way for you to purchase a pv and supplies.

On video, I hope!

Hi kilani, Janty and Joye are one in the same. Joye is the manufacturer.

Hi there, a good place to start would be a read in the DIY section of the forum. The DIY experts will eventually chime in here. Gluck!

Hi there, "pv" - personal vapor. The Vapor Talk Forum has a store. The link is at the top of the page. There is also a suppliers link to the left of it. You may want to go through the list and look at the various options for e-liquid and accessories. Gluck!

Hi, not to worry, a cartomizer does crackle and pop! I check my carto when I've been vaping for a while. If the filler looks dry (white-ish), I'll add a few drops. If I can I let it sit for a couple of minutes to let any excess run out of the top (thread end), and then wipe the threaded end with a paper towel or kleenex. It's recommended to always keep a carto moist. I usually guess to top it off right before I think I might get a harsh TH. I call it babysitting a carto, but it's what needs to be done. Most of this activity become second nature after a while. Definitely fill it when the vapor gets low. Cartos will get funky over time. Some vapers use them for a very long time, rinsing them out, etc. I get about a good three days from a new carto. Hope this helps!

Hi, sorry your first impression of vaping is disappointing you. I'm curious what pv you have. It's possible that you could use a higher nic strength. Some of us start out with 24mg and then taper to a lower strength. I agree that "buzz" means too much nic. If you have just the prefilled cartridges, you may want to order some extra e-liquid very soon, trying a 24 or 18mg. I said this recently in another post that imo vaping really isn't like smoking analogs. Vaping is an alternative. It does take some getting used to. Please post any further questions you may have. There isn't one person on this forum that doesn't want to see you succeed!

New Method Of Determining Cartomizer Filling Amount

That's very interesting about filling a carto. I totally agree that if you become a drop short you can taste it. Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! -
Appeals Court May Sidestep E-Cig Key Issue - Argument Thurs
Lily replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Hi, I read the article...twice. I'm not sure what it actually means? Is tomorrow a separate issue from the case to be heard next Tuesday? Is it a continuation of the process in establishing jurisdiction of regulation by the FDA to decide if pv's are a tobacco product or drug delivery device? Does it really matter if this case gets dismissed or denied? Idk... -
Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! Also have had a similar experience to yours but not from Tasty Vapor. The flavor thing is really subjective and imo iffy. I tried a root beer I forget from where, but it gagged me. I too, am searching for a decent one. Please if you find it, let me know ! Forget about caramel...that hasn't happened yet either! Oh, and congratulations on your purchase of an eGo! I think you're going to love it!

Friends mistake my teeth for pearls! Gosh, I exhale vape on the bathroom medicine chest mirror every single day. I never have to clean it, seriously, never! Well, sometimes I clean the mirror...I wish I had a congress(wo)man's smile lol! That dentist = quack, quack!

Hi again, Beach. To be honest, there is no right or wrong with vaping. It depends upon your personal goals. There is a lot of pressure coming from the culture to rid oneself of smoking analogs. It's understandable that you want your spouse to be on board with you. I would suggest letting things take there course. There is and will be support for you in the forum!

Hi, PG or Propylene Glycol and VG, Vegetable Glycerin is the suspension or base liquid that nicotine in various strengths is added to. If you google both these terms, you'll get a detailed description. Both are used in many many applications. I've read that some vapers experience an allergic-type reaction to PG, but most do not. Both are considered safe. PG e-liquid is reported to offer a better taste while vaping, and VG more vapor. Some do a 50/50 mix or variations thereof, in order to get both flavor and vapor. I personally get great flavor and vapor from an all PG on certain e-liquids. Using one or the other or a combination of the two will end up being a matter of preference. Hope this helps!

I Can't Find The Bp10/p10/b10(If That's Even The Name Of It)
Lily replied to asmcriminal's topic in New Vapers Forum
Welcome to the Vapor Talk Forum! The eGo is a great unit and it's use is fairly straight forward. Continue to read up and ask any questions as they come up. You may want to start out with a regular 510 atty which is what the eGo comes with and work from there. Good luck! Let us know how it goes for you! -
Finally A Way To Duplicate Analog Flavor!
Lily replied to Jkimbo's topic in General Vaping Discussion
You'll get there! -
Hi Beach, sometimes the transition involves just the process you're talking about. I was one of those who smoked for years and years, started vaping on June 4 and June 5 was the last analog I had. There are some who transition more slowly. This is just my take on it but there is the ritual component connected with smoking as you described. For me I was never satisfied with that becuz I always wanted the next one. The benefits I've received from vaping the last three or so months can't compare to that, i.e., breathing better, more energy, more money, etc. Vaping is an alternative to smoking analogs, but imo has way more ritual aspects to it, i.e., interesting types of pvs, flavors of e-liquid (PG/VG), nic strength, direct dipping, using cartomizers, passthroughs, high voltage and modular pvs., the list goes on. I think you will get over it. Imo there is no right or wrong with this. Stay connected with the forum, read up, and don't hesitate to ask questions. No one is judging anyone here. Gluck ! Oh, and I wanted to add, that I carry my little 510 and eGo around me with me everywhere. It's like a pacifier
