  1. Hi James, I ditto B80. Hang in there. This is a transition and it takes a little time for things to fall into place. I've received e-liquid I swore I was going to trash right away. But after reading a bit on the forum about e-liquid and reading some of the e-liquid reviews, what I did (this is just me) was do or die vape it for at least a day. What often happened is that the flavor began to grow on me. In the beginning our tastebuds are pretty dead and our sense of smell is off or even non-existent. What I thought was awful now tastes great and what I thought was great is, well, I certainly won't order it a second time! I guess vaping is a choice. Honestly, I don't know what I'd be doing if I still had to smoke analogs. Please let us know how it goes. There's a lot to think about, do and learn in the beginning. It will work if you want it to!
  2. I want it on pancakes!
  3. Hi Dude, Dulcis is an e-liquid sold only at the Vapor Talk Store (link right above you at the top of the page). Some compare it to a RY4 (tobacco flavored e-liquid). Imho it's in a superior class all by itself. I think you're going to have to try it for yourself! Happy vaping!
  4. R u sure? I don't think there is filler? It has to be more like a ceramic thingie with a reservoir, yes, no?
  5. I just went through the Tesla history and Mik's videos...like from a year ago now ! I too hope it arrives soon. I think Janty is being careful about this this time. Oh man, Christmas would be great this year!!!
  6. Hi, while it is interesting to read a concern about mold spores in cartomizer filling, there are mold spores, viruses and bacteria free-floating in the air around us. As an ex-smoker, I always have to weigh the fact that the chemicals and amounts of tar I was ingesting into my throat and lungs was destroying my health. All the 'testing' on analogs has not made people stop using them. Is it prudent to err on the side of caution? Yes, of course. Most everything we do in life has a risk factor. But am I going to become an alarmist over the fact that I use cartomizers on a regular basis, absolutely not!
  7. Hey thanks Brian, I just bookmarked it!
  8. Hi, that is quite a story about your Mom. I hope she continues to be well, and kudos to her for informing the medical community!

    Hooked!

Hi, I agree with the 'pacification' aspect of vaping (mine is in my hand most of the time). My vaping has slowed down a little in the five months since I began but to be honest, I'd rather have my eGo in my hand than an analog. Lol your wife asking if you want to marry it! Happy vaping!
  10. Hi, nice post, thanks! Don't forget to stay around! I don't use LR's but most of what I've read here is becuz they heat up faster and hotter, they will burn out before a regular atty or drain a battery more quickly. There is a lot of info about LR's on the forum!
  11. That is so funny, "that little '"pop"' death sound they make and then nothing." I've had that happen. I had a cartomizer do that as well. I think I poked at it too much and the pop scared me but still, it feels like loss.
  12. I'm sorry...may it RIP!
  13. Lol! Was he really worried that his shorts were going to fall down? Nice man t*ts!
  14. I think the dude is wearing gloves, isn't he? Unfortunately he is telling the truth...
  15. It was painful listening to her. It's amazing how the news readers and public health officials spout the party line...e-cigarettes have PG in them which is used in anti-freeze (c'mon already on that one), cherry flavor will entice children, and no answer from Dr. Carla (when asked by the news reader) of the known dangers of analogs and smoking cessation drugs.
  16. Idk Dayvape, I don't want to jack this thread. I've been using standard cartos on an eGo. I read all of your posts re LR cartos and HV...but I also read other posts that don't tout LR's or HV for flavor. I know I should try LR's and HV for myself, but I'm not convinced (yet) that I need a stronger TH.
  17. Lol! We ARE bored!
  18. Hi, I became really discouraged when I first started to direct dip. It's all that everyone was recommending here. I felt like I was following the instructions but, time after time I ended up with juice in the mouth and felt like I was drinking my e-liquid. I even gave up on it for a couple of weeks and went back to the filler. I kept at it tho, and lo-and-behold, now I vape it, and don't drink it! I put anywhere from 2 to 4 drops in the atty. I tip it a bit and don't really know where the juice lands inside the atty. I keep my 510 or eGo fairly horizontal when I vape. As already said, the drip tip (I use the shorty, wide-mouth Delrin) kind of keeps the juice from running all over the place. I don't think I've ever had 5-7 inhales on a 2-4 drop drip, but I try not to overfill regardless. Even with a carto, if you're a drop over, the juice can run through the drip tip and onto your tongue. I guess what I want to say is don't give up on direct dipping. While cartos are convenient and becoming ever popular, there is nothing like the flavor and vapor that comes from the direct dipping method. Gluck!
  19. Thanks! This is a great review! Love the alien green!
  20. Hey bob, you must feel pretty terrible...so, tomorrow is a new day, and you'll just start over!
  21. Hi, sorry you're having difficulties with your attys. It does read like there was not enough liquid on the wicks at any given time. I blow out through the open end. I have a kleenex or paper towel to catch the drip that will come out of the threaded end. You kind of have to babysit the equipment in the beginning. Eventually vaping, cleaning, charging and maintaining an atty will become second nature. Gluck!
  22. Hi, this is a good post! I've had the polyfil stick to the bridge inside the atty as well. I agree that polyfil is a pain but it's usually where everyone starts out. I'm sure Kitsune will chime in here at some point to talk about fluval, which is an alternative filler you can try until you're comfortable with direct dipping or using cartomizers. What I've done when I used the polyfil is poke it around with a toothpick as I add juice. That helps to get the fill saturated. I try not to get too much juice in there as things get leaky, but I know I need stay on top of adding juice between vapes so that things don't get too dry creating that burnt taste. When I took the first few inhales I experienced some harshness in the throat, after that hardly at all. It may be that you need a lower nic level. If you started out with the 24mg you might want to go to 18 or 16mgs. You might want to experiment with a VG based e-liquid or a combo VG/PG mix. In the beginning it will seem like you're vaping all of the time, all of the day. Vaping is not really like smoking an analog. You're getting much less nicotine in an inhale than when you inhaled an analog from start to end. Good luck with this, and have fun! Vaping is really a blast! Don't hesitate to ask questions!
  23. Hey, hang in there. It sucks that both batteries malfunctioned. I'd be rippin about it myself. The great lesson is that eventually you'll have some backup batteries and attys for when stuff like this happens. It's nice your supplier is taking care of you! You'll be on a roll with this soon!
  24. Hi, there have been no long-term scientific studies posted on the effects of vaping and the lungs that I'm aware of. Nicotine obviously enters the bloodstream affecting brain cells. There is a lot of info around on that. Think of a vaporizer in a room. In my unscientific opinion, pretty harmless. People get jittery over some of the additives in e-liquid and there has been some very recent discussion here on some of them, i.e., Diacetyl but, when I think of what was going into my body smoking analogs, I don't get too caught up. There are too many benefits in vaping. This is just me now.
  25. Hi again, yes it is! Janty is where I purchased my eGo. Great customer service! There e-liquid is pricey but very very good!
