Hi, thought I'd check in for advice. When I woke up this morning, I sleepily carried my two-week old eGo into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee, and on the way I dropped it on a wood floor. The battery appears to be very DEAD. I interchanged parts so I know it's the battery. I tried to charge the wounded one, but it's not taking a charge. Janty has a 3 month warranty on batteries, but it was working fine before I dropped it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, I think when I clicked the firefox tab at the top the first time, the page went right to the full page of 30 things about analogs. I thought I might have entered a parallel universe. I'm not sure I want to know anymore what was in my analogs. When I refreshed, I went to the current config which is looking good. I agree with others that mostly I come to the forum first to see what's going on, and then maybe I go on to scope out other things I might be interested in. Thanks for your site beautification!

How Long Do You Use Your Cartomizers For?
Lily replied to Christopher's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Hi, I was going to start a thread entitled "Bionic cartomizer". I'm using the same one for a little under a month now. It snaps, crackles and pops. The carto seems to come alive every time I put a little juice in it. The vapor is still excellent, the taste so-so. The first carto I used did not seem to like straight VG, it got gummy and expired fairly quickly. The bionic one is using only PG Cherry. As long as it doesn't taste nasty, I'm going to see it through to its end! -
Hi Cicely, actor92191 gave up some great advice. They say smoking is a habit, in addition to the addicting properties of nic. Personally, I smoked for alotta years. I didn't think I'd ever stop smoking analogs. The day after I started vaping with my Joye510, I smoked my last analog. Within about three days after using an e-cig, I began to feel so great physically that that was the inspiration to keep vaping. Have I had cravings for analogs, yes I have. I pick up and use my e-cig each and every time until the analog craving passes. And it does. There is great support in this forum for any questions or issues that may come up. Gluck, and keep on keeping on!

Hi everyone, I started vaping June 4 with a 510, June 5 was the last analog I smoked after so many, many years. Things have been just great the entire past month. I moved back to the City, my daughter left for a position with a ngo in Uganda, and I've been busy, busy, busy with my friends and life in general. Although for me, there was a level of being somewhat obsessed with the transition to e-cigs, learning and experimenting all the little ins and outs of using them, and finding my niche with them, etc., I've not regretted one moment of any part of the experience. I make no apologies for being an ex-analog smoker and now using e-cigs. I ENJOY VAPING TREMENDOUSLY! K, about a week ago, I started using 24VG Rath Watermelon. OMG, it clogged up all my equipment. Nasty, nasty, nasty. It was like molasses. I actually read someone else on the forum who didn't like this e-juice either (after I had purchased mine ). So I was becoming discouraged, getting little taste, hardly any vape, yada, yada. I thought, maybe it's time to move on, you know, graduate to an eGO! WOW, my Janty eGo came today, and it meets and exceeds the expectations of everything I've read on the forum. It's a beautiful vaping machine. I mean, you take it out of the box, and start mega-vaping away! You really can't get better than that! Can you? I don't think that I'll ever become techno with all the mechanics and innovations I read about in the forum with e-cigs, but I'm so thrilled with all the great advice and info that brought me to buying the eGo. Not everyone's experience will be mine, but I am yet another newcomer who says, the eGo is definitely the next step on the e-cig journey. What a huge relief that I don't have to smoke analogs any longer. Yes, I have cravings for them now and then, but all I do it pick up my 510, and now my eGo. I'm glad I have a big ego!

Hi B80, good suggestions from the unqualified re nic poisoning. The only time I've had e-liquid running all over is if I've overfilled a cartridge or cartomizer on my 510 (and it ran out the atty end, though it shouldn't, because you don't want to overfill a cartomizer). I primarily fill a cartridge or direct dip when I'm sitting at the computer. I'll use a cartomizer when I'm out and about which is pretty hassle-free. Often, if not always, condensation forms on the mouthpiece that possibly contains trace amounts of nic. Yet, I've had nic juice on my fingers, on my lips, never in the eye yet as some have reported, with no repercussions. So, I guess what I'm contributing here is to err on the side of caution, as one would with any substance that has a warning label. I always have a paper towel by my side to wipe up excess e-liquid, I carry tissues with me now everywhere I go, and learned to wash my hands before I pet the dog. So much is trial and error and discovering what works best. Good luck with all of this.

New Yorkers Set To Pay $11 Per Pack For Regular Cigarettes
Lily replied to CigaretteReviewsorg's topic in New Vapers Forum
Hi, I feel compelled to add to this thread as a resident of NYS and NYC. Smokers are, I've used the word elsewhere in this forum, "pariahs" in our culture. Definition of a pariah: "an outcast, any person or animal that is generally despised or avoided". And while medical evidence has accumulated over a generation that supports the harmful effects of smoking, think of the thousand other ways one can cause harm to themselves and possibly others. The people of New York should be outrageously outraged at the flagrant abuse of power perpetrated on a person's personal choice to smoke tobacco. E-cigs are and will continue to come under attack because politicos will have to find a way to vilify, tax and regulate the industry. It sucks, but we will continue to fill the coffers of greedy people until we say enough is enough. Wow, did I say that? -
Congratulations Lori! Your experience was similar to mine. Within 3 days of smoking analogs for longer than I'll admit, that heavy, tired, and congested feeling in my body was gone! It was absolutely amazing. I was one of those lucky people who started vaping June 4, and June 5 I smoked my last analog. I didn't think I'd ever stop. I drank gallons of water which helped. I was not an in-door smoker, but strangely enough, as a smoker, the smell of tobacco smoke anywhere was repugnant. I'm very, very happy where I'm at with vaping at this point. The information in this forum is awesome. It has made the transition and journey so easy, and fun! Happy vaping!

I'm vaping VG-24 Green Tea from a 510. Think of the antioxidants!

Welcome twentyfour! Everything you want to know and learn about pv's and vaping is in this forum. Re the taste of atty's: there were a few tastes I was not used to when I began vaping on 6/4. When you've toked analogs for many years, taste is not a verb. Whatever exactly the moisture content is of a new atty or cartridge, it went away fairly quickly after applying e-juice, and inhaling, for me. One's taste buds however, do become refined rather quickly. Hahahaha, silly me, I was blowing out the other end of an atty to dispense with the factory liquid. I think vaping has much to do with trial and error even having read all the great info contained within the forum, and watching videos, i.e., atty maintenance, cartridges, cartomizers, direct dipping, e-liquid with PG, VG, and so on. For some reason, I feel better inhaling VG instead of PG, but some may disagree that I'm trading off on flavor. Ask any question and it will be answered! Gluck on the journey!

Hello, Would love to read how other beginners and 'professional' vapors organize their pv materials namely the 510. I don't need a cabinet or tool box yet. I have four batteries, four atomizers, several boxes of cartridges, a box of cartos, liquid, etc. I find as I incorporate vaping into my daily life (since 6/4), I can easily become confused with the rotation of using these items. I realize this may sound way elementary to some, but any suggestions I think would be helpful. I'm moving to my new location in a few days so this is probably adding to how I may be more organized. I have a hard case, but that only holds two spare batts and two attys. Thanks!.
