  1. look folks the whole dead attie thing? it is from impurities in vape fluids. nothing more and nothing less. there is always the fact that maybe your batteries are not true joye batteries, that will do it too. I have atties over 8 months old. there are alot of reasons for that but I am telling you, I see posts constantly about 3-4 weeks lifespan for atties. that is crap. ok sorry for the language. I just get a bit frustrated when I see so many folks chomping about atties. It can be only a few things. knock-off not joye atties. knock-off not joye batteries, or junk fluids with too much mositure content. alcohol, water or whatever. These are the basics of atties. 3-4 weeksw for an attie? I have over 1 dozen that I test constantly, I have only had one die in 8 months and it is from a bettery that died a horrible death on its own and took the attie with it... Just so this is said, I am degreed in electronics at the highest level. Electronics, batteries etc. is what I do. It isn't rocket science, just plain old electronics. Power goes in, power goes out etc. David
  2. the only time oxygen plays a real part is when you go to 100mg/ml or higher. we deal with 500mg/ml and higher all the time. just keep it out of real high heat and you will be fine. even if you have it in your purse on a hot day the only thing it will do is alter the color a bit and not the chemical content. you are right about expose your nic condensed to air for a limited time, but the only thing it will do if you leave it opened overnight is change color for the darker, it won't change the level or affect the taste. keeping it in the fridge? no real reason for that. in the end it creates condensation in the bottle from the left over solvents and moisture. just keep it out of sun and in the house. you will be fine David
  3. Brian is right I have seen some ego's for as low as 49.00 and yeah I would be leery of it. I imagine some dealers may have true joye stuff and are selling for less then 70 which is below Joye's set minimum. Greed can make the best of people get ugly. I will stick with what Joye insists for their vendors as I will not sell anything that is generic, just not worth it in the long run.
  4. alot of it comes down to the impurities and solvents in the nicotine. and same goes for whatever is mixed in with it for flavor etc. VG does not like heat so storing in a decent climate is best. I get 5 gallon buckets of pg/vg and the manufacturer sheet on it states 72-74 degrees and limited exposure to oxygen. The nicotine manufacturer pretty much states the same but also sets exposure to direct sunlight minimums too. FlavoourART condensed has a minimum 2 year shelf life under decent conditions, like keeping it in your pantry. As a mixer of gallons of all of this stuff i can tell you, exposure to oxygen is one of the keys. The nicotine needs a little exposure to oxygen as possible. The stuff I deal with is only .02 percent impurities so there is very little in there left to go bad, but even at this level of purity if exposed to too much oxygen it will start to change color. heat and oxygen are your enemies. Light is not such a big deal but if you are storing stuff for long term cool dry place is the best.
  5. It's pretty easy to tell by pricing if it is fake. Dealers like myself are bound by obligation to Joye manufacturing to a minimum price limit. Anyone caught selling their products at less then the minimum price limit will be cut-off as a reseller. I have never ran afoul of them as I stick to their minimum guideline but I imagine they would come down pretty hard on anyone choosing to buck their system. And yeah, the fda is patiently waiting for some of the crap out there that are knock-offs to go awry and they will poince on the industry as a whole the moment they get a chance. Personally I would never use a knock-off to save a few bucks, it isn't worth the risk to my own health.
