  1. Remember initial investment? This only gets subtracted as you go along, if your spending less. Otherwise.....look at your initial investment as the "begin hobby price" and choosing to improve your health. Doing the math: I was spending 35 bucks per week and total is of course 140.00 per month. I now spend around 140.00 per month on supplies, be it whatever. 5ml per day x 7 days at .90ml per average = roughly 30 per week on juice = 120.00 per month. Occasional 20 pack of carts = 20.00 per month. One carto lasts anywhere from 5-10 days. OR! Purchase of C tank atty blister pack at 25.00 per month. Atty lasts between 10-30 days. (let's say) Total here is 120-140 per month. Sometimes we'll have all the cartos we need for 60 days. A blister pack of new C atties will soon run you 25.00, while all five may last you a couple of months. It's a staggered timeline based on your supplies and needs. Last month was just juice, this month was just carts etc. Occasionally you'll want a new batt, latest kit, or try a new delivery device on the market. This is where it becomes a hobby or want. (though new batt will be required from time to time) it becomes like anything else. New laptop or vape kit? New smart phone or mod device? Flowers and chocolates for companion or latest tank set up? (be prepared to explain) Five topping pizza or Romain noodles etc......... Just have fun with it, and know you made the right choice for health. Price does not necessarily matter, give or take. Soon you'll be having fun like the rest of us, while giving long and drawn out explanations and such......
  2. Franz and Mike both make great points. I personally do not delve into the realm of VV, 5.0 vaping, or expensive mods. Nor would I ever speak against those who do. If I had the extra bucks.....I might consider the purchase and soup things up a bit. Bottom line? We all venture to quit analogs to enjoy the much less hazardous vaping experience. Personally, I enjoy the control over vaping supplies and at different times I need carts, juice, new batt, whatever. About even after smoking 1.5 packs per day (for 37 years) and switching to vape device. However, I would be willing to spend way more in leaving the nasties behind. It's been a grand experience (and hobby) all the while......Golden.
  3. Boy, am I spending way to much time logged on here today. LOL But your right.......everyone has a favorite, and what works best for them. Some like dough, and some prefer the toppings. Who's to criticize the other, and it is what it is. Opinions are great and helps with the overall process. Now, could I possibly have one of those brewskys you keep waving around? Cheers!
  4. In addition...... Get yourself some atty eraser and fill/designate one tank with this solution. When changing flavors? Put this tank on your device and hit it a few times. It will over ride the previous flavor, and on with the next. If not, just add your next flavor and wait a few hits. It will over ride in due time, but you may not get the true flavor for a while....especially going from menthol or cinnamon type vapes. You get the idea..........
  5. No way guy.......but I can see how you may have taken this. This will be redundant to veteran vapors and please bare with me. Many new vapors in the past have gotten hung up on battery, juice delivery device, and juice itself. These are the three main aspects of vaping. The choices now days have narrowed this error window down, but it's still remains an issue. Most will now recommend the Ego batt and either tank, atty, or carto version for delivery device. What you have done is eliminated the first two aspects of vaping and there remains only the juice to decide upon. Your research has in affect......brought you right to step 3 which is the most fun during the process. You decided on the batt (most would approve and agree) the newest and best delivery device (for veterans and newbies alike).......you have only one thing left to do. Find your juice. This new tank is the utmost device for trying new juices. IMHO, as a nearly two year vapor person who's tried about everything there is. Vape on!
  6. Not a big fan of the EMDC delivery device. Most juices were muted and draw is very airy. Yes, I got them at MV and would liken them to the GoGo carts......too much juice to add, and no flavor after. I'll take the Ressurrector or even Boge 2.0 for the hit factor. Tanks have their issues, but will never purchase another 3ml carto, whereby one cannot recover or transfer the juice. Yes, you can pull the filler and squeeze out, but why? There's a reason atty devices are best for volume and tank set ups. Tried the Echo-e cart for a while, and even recommended them. However, longevity proved carts are great for single wire at 3.2.....and dual coil for 3.7 (juice hog). Give me a perfected tank and atty anytime. JMHO and your YMMV.
  7. Agreed. 510 all the way and those new 650 batts from Joye/C Tank atty kits are the cats meow. I prefer the 900mah and they'll be arriving soon. Chicago reports kits are in, and parts in a couple of weeks. C Type A Tanks are showing a slight reflection of the T atty system as we move on. Nothing has changed with the necessary dry burns and cleaning....but one could expect this. Still a significant improvement and very happy. Liking the flavor change option and direct tank mixes for this system.
  8. Welcome Dragaa. Couple of things about your post. I'm confident senior vapors would agree; the start up for vaping is much like any other 'sport". Gotta buy the clubs, the fishing gear, or the exercise equipment. Important thing is to buy quality to begin with......if you plan to stick with it. My own personal experience has me kicking myself in the beginning for spending money on kits and trying all manner of things as I dove right into it. At the time, vaping was in the online infancy and one could easily spend 200-500.00 on equipment for giving up the analogs. (yes, we were that serious in the matter) JMHO....but you have grabbed hold of something tried and true, while doing your research using this venue.....and kudos' for wisdom. Tank atty is a nice place to start for vaping, but is not without it's little quirks and properties. Great people here to help and please do not hesitate to pick their brains. In one swoop you have bypassed the battery and delivery device process and narrowed it right down to preferred juices. Tank system are great for the final step and good luck to you. Need any help? Just ask.
  9. Hear ya MJ.... The nice thing about the new C atty would be the very thing you allude to......it's very easy to offset the QC (or lack thereof) for basic components. Factory settings probably have a tolerance machine for setting of wick, for instance. The T atty would be a total pain for getting this right, in the event it was wrong. One can easily adjust the wicking for VG/PG content on this new device. Want increased or decreased flow? It's a snap. You only need a small screw driver, thin bladed knife, or strong paperclip for this purpose....and a cheap pair of curved needle nosed pliers. Just pry up on the wick device to expose the wire and cup, adjust wick, replace, and go. Very easy for cleaning the wick, all the while dry burns are much more efficient, given the ceramic cup only, and no mesh. Encountered minimal frustration when placing the spike back onto the atty base/ceramic cup unit. This was quickly alleviated by using the curved needle nose for centering and pushing back in place. Cost for these maintenance items is around 2.00-3.00 and most homes have them already. (tiny screwdriver and curved needle nose pliers) As for Stephanie......One can remove the spike with ease and direct drip right into the coil here. Many drip tips will fit on the cone. For me, it's better used as intended, and once you get the hang of it and learn to take easy draws while listening to the atty? Golden, and dripping becomes something you do on special occasions, and with other equipment designed for such. Certainly possible here, but give the intent it's due knowing you have the option for direct drip. It hits very well in this regard but the tank has it's distinct advantages....though I personally believe it attributes to part of any remaining problems and needs a new design. Vape on.....
  10. Just an .02? Hoosier is a nice place to purchase and those tanks are not without some issues. I think it obvious you would not be stealth vaping with the clear tanks, but are nice for around the house. One thing I like about the T or C Tank Atty is absolute control over incognito hits in an open environment. Won't reveal too much here....but I vape C tanks nearly everywhere. Even with a nice LR carto set up it's more difficult to hide vapor and one needs to learn total control of inhale/exhale technique. Around home is wide open and all devices mentioned will work for your needs. The clear tanks, the mods, and obvious devices sit in the car when I go to town. However, the stealthy, quiet, and easily controlled C atty remains in my pocket. Held up side down it can look very much like an ink pen or writing device. Imagine that.......
  11. Would place that in total realm of possibility. .
  12. Vermillion River Vanilla in Resurrector carto - 3.2 Ego Vape the Rockies sample mix - Ego C Tank Halo Tribecca in 3.7 18650 Mod with DC carto Halo Menthol Ice - Ego C Tank Grab one of them....their all good.
  13. Fellow vapors..... We all have our favorite vendors. However, some have streamlined access to new product.....do to research, desire, and overall aggressiveness. Would like to convey my opinion on one such vendor. Had waited patiently for a new and improved T tank atty, and we all knew it was coming. IMHO, lessor vendors will sit back and wait for those people who are willing to take all the risk in research/development, logistics, and direct contact with overseas production processes. Let us now cut to the chase, and to make this brief? Ovale (down Florida way) was the first vendor I noticed to have the newly built "C" Tank Atty and would like to relay my experience in the matter: Absolute top of the line customer service Super fast shipping Willingness to adjust to consumer Stamped Logo and obvious connection to new development Nice introductory price Pioneer tendency toward customer wants and needs These folks have done me well, while earning trust in the vaping market. Would not hesitate to purchase any vaping needs from this vendor and confident they will adjust as market moves toward demand. They've already dropped the parts price for the C atty, and before you visit the potential knock offs in the future? I'd go with tried and true while dealing with an entity who brought us the original. For what it's worth......I give them my total endorsement. Happy Vaping! http://ovaleus.com/shop/
  14. No worries. Purchased my first 3 pc 510 there (almost 2 years now) and love the service. If I resided close, or ever in the area? Visit would be a must. Need to follow my own advice and stop hitting this device so hard. It burns nicely and there is a tendency to take a drag instead of the slow draw. About to run atty cleaner and make an abrupt flavor change. At this moment I would nudge anyone on the fence to go ahead and give this baby a whirl. It's improved but the longevity results are not yet in.
  15. Ah yes, the home made nuggets are great, and wife makes them all the time for various dishes. Not intended to bash any vendor or fast food chain, but is a comparison on what trace amounts can be found in this or that "approved" product. We all know this is not about safety, health, or concern for smokers. Follow the.......?
  16. Oh for sure. Well known and well represented. I only meant MY subtle was not so good....perhaps intentionally so. Was not sure if I could post in this thread the actual name, so I left it alone. No time for going over the rules and regs for posting. Easier in this case to be a little silly about it. I think it will be a few more days and I'll be ordering the 2.4ish atty and perhaps another cone set up. Won't get all wound up on the type A before the larger Type B hits. For now though? Glad I made the purchase and to be back in the tank. Got some new juices for trying out and this baby fits the bill. Love em for that, and thanks for the response!
  17. Nice article and thanks for posting. I'd still rather vape than eat an "approved" chicken nugget. Talk about stuff contained within.......yuck, and no way.
  18. Ouch. Those Viper bites sting a bit. LOL Not so subtle on the location eh? But ya Ron.......somewhere in a theater near you.
  19. Sounds a lot like me. I love the tank for trying new flavors, or mixing flavors right into the tank. If you already have the tanks, Ego batts, and just need the new cone and atty? I would say, go for it. It's much improved for maintenance (almost fun now) and eventually this is what took me off the T atty as I grew tired of pulling plates, burning coils, and a few other PITB issues. Those issues are either eliminated or pulled way down on this new set up. One can actually remove the wick device, go to drip tip, and direct right to the coil. As mine get weaker.....this is exactly the plan. One could do this with the old ones but with the removable parts and no mesh in ceramic cup area, it's much better here. Not sure what I can post here but a certain quality vendor near Chicago will have the parts soon.
  20. Hey Jeff? You using the 2.4ish atty? I'm really starting to believe the main problem with this set up could be the tank design itself? Had suspected this on the originals and it seems confirmed by the dripping into the spike (or direct on coil) and getting a near perfect DD hit. Place the tank back on....and it begins an issue. Fresh tanks with no condensation build up tends to bring out the best in this system. Is this your take after switching to the new tank from the old, as stated?
  21. Update report.... Battery is no doubt improved for longevity, and though it's not confirmed, it seems to draw more evenly as it drops in charge. Would also believe it packs something closer to the 3.4 range vs 3.2? No meter to check, but this battery draws nearly as well off the charge as a 3.7. Nearly being the optimum word. Still in contention this set up does not need the LR atty (for me) and still waiting on the 2.2-2.4 standard atty. Condensation in the cartridge remains the same, but is easily controlled using the Q Tip swab method and necessary removal of the inner baffle. No leaks around the rubber cap and not sure, but this unit makes leaking near impossible. Look for the exact same action from the previous Type A tank, save for any leaking. Atty? It runs like a champ but this is typical for the first couple of weeks. Update is only 1 week in and premature to assess the units performance in longevity. However, I would give it a 25% better rating over the previous A Tank, in this new and improved version. Atty does take a while to break in. First couple of days was low performance, and even though the primer was blown out, it did not run smooth until after about 3 tank fulls of juice. Favorite juices are still running better flavor in the carto. Believe this has much to do with efficiency of the atty, and no need for the LR? It's slightly burning 70-30 mixes and produces a harsh TH (with some heat). Easy adjustment of the wick has not eliminated this. Removal of the tank and direct drip into spike does produce the DD affect, so it could still be the same old feed problem. Is the wicking process not right for the LR? Or, do we have the same old not wicking fast enough for the unit as a whole.....as suggested by an earlier post? Again, if one removes the tank and drips directly into the spike, it seems to hit like a 306 bridge-less atty. Hmmmm.....could be the tank vacuum at this point. Need time and feedback.
  22. All day vapes? Vermillion River Vanilla-and other flavors from this vendor. Kentucky base is a must like....or it's no go. Most like it. Halo Tribecca.-Similar to RY4 and this mixture is almost indestructible at 3.7 and 1.25 resistance. It's stout and hearty. Captain Black Cavendish pipe vape-currently all messed up due to some weird circumstances in supplier changes. My #1 previously. Yet to try Boba's and where do I get it? Keep putting it off, but after reading the confirmations here (and elsewhere) better try it. Will review a tried sample from Vape the Rockies.... soon as the vendor figures a name for this new choco vape, Not into nutty, fruity, cakes or ice creme vapes....but have to say this new chocolate from VTR is outstanding. Like everyone else....have top shelf all day vapes, along with top shelf change of pace mixtures and this soon to be reviewed chocolate light mix is right in there. Mountain Vapor IMHO has the best pure vanilla for novice DIY, or recovery of bad juices. Stout, flavorful, and saved a few ml of bad juice with this mix, if you like vanilla.
  23. Anything along leaking lines would seem solved for this unit. I personally never had the leak problem with the Ego T....but seen enough posts to agree it was an issue for many. Medium heavy to heavy vapors IMHO should consider rotating devices. Medium heavy myself and almost never hit the same device in succession, especially on micro brew night. Wicking must take place and if you draw faster than the wick allows for feeding? You get burned. The more often the accelerator is pegged, and the longer it stays down? The sooner your out of gas..... This little baby hums right along but no device should be set up for constant heavy feed.... or it would flood for the medium to light vapor persons. We heavy guys have to take it easy. Just rotate and hit all you want?
