No problem, I actually just had to help my younger sibling who saved his money up for a couple years and finally got a computer for college. It always bums me out, because not even 2 years ago my computer was "decent", and now looking at yours and his I just have to sit and cry that the thing I spent all my money on is now considered a flaming piece of crap. Still, hope you enjoy that little gaming beast, it should be able to run every newer game out there at least on normal settings, and most of them on high. I have not had good luck with laptops in the past, but I know some people who swear by them and hope yours works out for you. It's always a nerve-racking, yet exciting event to shop for a computer, you don't want to get jipped, but you don't want to overpay either. That's why I LOVE Hewlett-Packard computers, they have always stood by me in the past (one lasted 7 years!). Have fun!

The "Primary Optical Drive" is just the CD drive yes, it is usually called the primary, because desktops can have multiple CD/DVD/Blu-ray drives. You can get a normal CD/DVD (make SURE it says DVD or many newer games won't play, cause they are on DVD-Roms. All drives nowadays SHOULD be DVD compatible, but you never know), a CD/DVD Burner (to burn discs, music, movie, w/e), or a Blu-Ray, which plays CD's DVD's and Blu-ray's (of course, lol). Fiber optic cable??? Hmmm, as long as it is an RJ-45, you should be ok (it looks like a phone line connector at the end, but like double the size), but you can always call HP and ask them if it has a connection for it (always a good idea when plunking down this kind of cash). The only networking with Bluetooth I know of is using a smart-phone with your computer, but that is stuff I just never got into, so I never needed it. Most people don't use Bluetooth, it just isn't THAT useful. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Okay, I studied computers for 3 1/2 years, which is actually not that much, so someone with more experience might come along. But the processor is ok, the price to up it is ridiculous and not worth the little extra kick it gives. The video card is AWESOME, my bro has a 512 and runs a few high-quality demanding games like Starcraft 2 at high settings. Black ops should look beautiful. 6 GB memory/RAM is good, don't need any more than that. 750GB hard drive should be enough for whatever you need, unless you got a bunch of *ahem* "freeware" (totally NOT talking about "pirated" movies and/or music <.<). Unless you need it, the other software is for stuff like running a business, or going to college. As for Anti-Virus, I just use AVG Free (like the name says, it's free) and Spybot Search and Destroy (also free), google it if you want. Battery all depends on how long you need it to run, I just kept mine stationary, so I changed to a desktop. Adaptors are the same, if you need it, get it, otherwise no point. No idea on the difference in screens, probly just a gloss or something...might be worth checking out. "Primary Optical Drive" all depends on what you need, do you NEED Blu-Ray? Do you NEED to burn "ahem" copies of your previously legally bought software? It's up to you. The networking bit MIGHT be worth $25 to get the Bluetooth, I never used it, but it depends on whether or not you have, or will, need it. The thing said it had an included port for broadband internet, so if you have dsl or cable internet, you SHOULD be fine, but they have usb adapters for that just in case. If you want some good sound, get a set of speakers, the ones in laptops usually blow. BE SURE to get a surge bar, either use one you have or get a new one, but make sure its good, because you could lose it all in a heartbeat if you have a power fluctuation. Looks like a good computer, just an fyi though, if you don't need portability, a desktop is cheaper for all of the same components, which means with that money you could get a better desktop But I digress, hope I helped.

One of the sweeter flavors I have is their Ultimate Vanilla with Vanilla Butternut, sweetened. I wish I had known how sweet it is naturally, because it honestly tastes like butter on the exhale it is that sweet. I personally cannot vape it, but it probably would've been fine without the sweetener.

Honestly, I only bought the Mountain Dew Code Red (Triple Flavor, Renu Custom Blend, 18mg), Tobacco Menthol (80%Pg/20%Vg, 18mg), Peanut Butter Cup (80%/Pg/20%Vg,36mg, forgot I had it, haha) Menthol (All Pg,18mg), and *cough* a certain flavor all here would rather I probably not talk about...just check out the site and flavors. I must say, the flavors I have tried (other than the last one and the Peanut Butter Cup), were all as described (which surprised me no end I admit). I can't quite pin down the Peanut Butter Cup however. I think it's more chocolatey than peanuty, with just a hint of it there at the beginning but more pronounced on the exhale. If you buy any of the flavors there, please feel free to let us all know whether or not they are good. I, for one, plan to continue buying from the site, due to the amazing flavors, great prices, and good customer service. I will also update on any of the flavors I might buy (probably not for a while, I got a LOT of e-liquid, much of it I don't care for). I forgot to add that you can customize the PG/VG ratio, nic density, and throat hit along with the flavor strength. Sorry about the rambling.

The man works wonders! I swear, the Mountain Dew Code Red tastes awesome! I was also skeptical at first, because the prices were low and have been like that for a couple of months (since I first saw his site, really) but the flavor was just AWESOME. I didn't care much for the full menthol (too strong, he's serious about the power) but the Tobacco Menthol was great. I will probably continue to buy from Vaporrenu and Tastyvapor almost exclusively, because they have great flavors, for great prices. Oh, don't forget, he can also double or triple the flavor (watch out, it gets strong).

Would this work with VG? I don't see why it shouldn't. Maybe I'll try it.

I can not even express in words how much these people anger me. It is quite obvious that any "research" some of them did, consisted of them sitting on their "butts" (see- I can even be more polite than most of the snakes) and saying to themselves, "Hey, this could cut funding I get from the Big Companies, I better stop this!" Greed is destroying America, but it is not the greed of the average American, but the people who decide how us Americans should live our lives for us.

So, I saw in this post http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/9814-cherry-crush/ that Blu now uses cartos. Has anyone tried them yet? I wondered if they worked any better. I hate the experience I've had with Blu in the past, but still, they WERE the ones that got me started on vaping. And I wanted to see if they finally decided to do something right and sell a better product. Then again, it's probably no better. And of course my finger slips off the spacebar and I misspell Blu, haha the screw-ups I had/have with Blu never stop.

Sigh..FDA will you never learn? Of course not...wallowing in greed and ignorance, they merely want control of everything they can. Sounds a lot like the FDA needs stuff like this to happen a lot more, to let them know their place. They are supposed to "regulate" things and protect the general public...but too often are they doing the EXACT opposite. Still, AWESOME that this happened! Makes me feel all warm inside.

Well, I got my order in and let me tell ya, T.V.'s Cherry Cola Flavor is definitely rocking it with the sweetener in it, it kinda reminds me of cherry Dr. Pepper. But unfortunately for me, the vanilla should NOT have been sweetened...ugh. It honestly has a heavy butter after taste on the exhale and tongue. The flavor is good, but it would've been sweet enough for me w/o the sweetener. Granted all of this is merely my own opinion, so not everyone can be held to it. For the Cola, sweeten = good, Vanilla, sweeten = sickly, disgustingly sweet. Still, I LOVE Tasty Vapor, so I am glad for the order, now I know when to add sweetener and when not to. Meh, you learn more everyday.

Stories like all of those above are awesome to hear for me. I personally keep on the down low most of the time, but if I have a craving I pull out my Tornado and do a few hits. So far I haven't had anyone tell me to stop, just a few funny looks that seemed to be curiosity to me. I dream of a day that vaping is the new "norm" and everyone does it without any remorse, embarrassment, or even a second thought, it would just be natural. Those days may be far away, but we all gotta have dreams, right?

Done. I hate signing my name because it always makes me nervous for some reason. Maybe I shoulda just put my first name, but then again it's not like I did something wrong, so eh. I am from Michigan, and anything that affects one of our states, affects all of us. For Freedom, For Vaping! -

Well, I got my lr atty and I must say, the flavor is ridiculous! Does anyone else feel like the flavor is so strong its like juice in your mouth? If this is only an imitation of higher voltage vaping, I think the flood gates of me buying more equipment just got opened (uh-oh, my wallet is gonna cry). Thanks for all the advice everyone. Perhaps its time to save up and go for a really nice mod, like one of the ones in this post: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/9707-whats-to-come-in-2011/ -
I actually had this dilemma just 3 days ago. I decided to trust in the Tasty Vapor staff, since the liquid I bought from them before was perfect (just finished the last bit today in fact). I went with the T.V. Cherry Cola and figured they knew what they were doin. Then I did the customize option to really make the "Ultimate" Vanilla. I will let ya know if the sweetener did good when I get the package

Man was lucky he had someone who helped him get a quality product before trying something like a Blu (ugh I hate those so much). Still, not gonna lie, seemed a little creepy.
-
4-6ml average. I fill one of those little 5ml bottles every day. Sometimes there are a few drops left the next day, and sometimes I fill it up the night before because it ran out.

And this right here is why I have passed up so many "offers" in the past. Anytime I am offered something online for such a deal, I know there HAS to be SOME kind of catch. It's just my cautious nature, but I very rarely trust people anymore. Seems like a complete and total rip-off to me, but that's just my opinion.

oooo FDA! You are still being a thorn in good peoples sides. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly, but for some reason I fear the FDA has a lot more pull than I want to give them credit for.
-
I know this makes me horrible, but I believe many of these could be (by that, I mean probably ARE) true. Man, some people. Still, it was good for a laugh. Thanks dude.

Man after reading this I feel enlightened. I always thought mods seemed expensive, but when you only pay around %8 for such a big battery that lasts so long, it seems you would save a lot more in the long run than using even an Ego/Tornado (what I have). This has given me something to seriously think about.

Sorry about that Jolly. I didn't really understand all of the ohm talk at first, lol. Its been about 3 1/2 years since I took AC/DC circuits, and even then I wasn't any good at it. But I did look around a few vendors sites and some actually list what ohm or voltage the equipment is. I think I might have to actually buy a multimeter and actually learn something >.< -

Thanks for all the help guys. I am getting a check within the next 4 days, so hopefully I will be able to order what I want soon. One last question, would I need a special high voltage atty? Or can it just use my normal 510's? I think I am going to buy an lr atty and see what that feels like. At under $10, I don't feel like I would be wasting money, so if it works well but just doesn't suit me, I won't feel bad. If I like it and want more/better, I will probably buy the pt. Again, Thanks All! -
Hello fellow vapers! I come seeking knowledge from veteran vapors who have either tried or owned 5 volt devices. I am wanting to move on to a stronger device and had a few questions. First off, is there a way to try 5 volt, without investing a lot of money if I don't like it? Would an lr atty or a 5 volt passthrough feel the same as getting a mod? Second off, I was looking at a passthrough from wordupecig and didn't know if my computer could actually run it at 5 volts. Here is the link http://www.shop.wordupecig.com/Joye-510-520-Pass-Throughs-Joye-510-Pass-Throughs.htm Would I need to buy a specific adapter of some sort to use it at 5 volts, and if so, where could I procure such an item? Sorry about all the questions, I am poor and want to make an informed decision (unlike when I bought a Blu....*shudder*) before I actually spend money. I have been vaping a while and still I feel like I am a complete newbie.

I like e-cig mostly because I have a mom who smokes and whenever I have called it a pv she doesnt even pay attention, but when I say E-cig she asks what about it. Kinda grabs a smokers attention IMO.
