Welcome to VT! Sounds like you're off to a great start. Let us know if you have any questions (and you will). lol Plenty of ppl here to keep ya on the right track and enjoying life without the stinkies!

Although I don't currently "cloud chase", I will say that each one of us need certian things to keep us off analogs. That said, they all have a place given the obvious safety aspects. The one thing we all have in common is no more stinkies! And we don't blow smoke, it's vapor!

Thanks for the link Comp!

I just watched grimmgreens vlog and he warned ppl not to use the onboard charging system. I'd do some research before you try to use it and decide if you want to or not. I think suckmymod also had some info about it. Stay safe!

like or hate and why?
fishguy1123 replied to Mr Smith's topic in Tanks, Clearomizers & Drop in Coils
I've heard about the lack of warning/info included with the atlantis tank and agree the safety aspect should be included whith the product. However, I take issue with your discription of "lazy noobs". Everyone of us were noobs at some point. We choose our path as we learn what works for us. Unfortuinately if we call ppl lazy because they are new, they likely won't ask questions to learn the important facts that go along with a product like this. Our goal should be focused on education for all. Promoteing that for the new members/vapers. I don't meen to rant, just would hate to see a guest/lurker to feel like they can't ask a question for fear of being labled. -
Anyone use ecig as the substitution for tobacco cigarette
fishguy1123 replied to walkteem's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
As for me, I feel better now that I vape! I know the studies are still going on when it comes to vapeing, but the studies are long since in on analogs..... and it leads to death! I like to think that worse case it's not perfect, but I still feel better than I did before I switched! It goes beyond the act itself, I don't have the stress "knowing" that every time I lit an analog it was just one more nail..... I think we have some room to improve when it comes to vapeing, but that's just another step farther down the right path! -
I'm not going to try to say you did or didn't put the battery in backwards. At the end of the day, if a board was fried from reverse battery installation I don't think that's a warranty issue. That could be the explanation for the courtesy fix. I will say that in general, not many complaints come across this board about the vapor shark products that I've seen. Hopefuly yours is good to go and you can enjoy it!

RDA's will give different experiences based on the design changes among them. Some, more flavor, vapor, temp of vape etc... You will find that one build may not be universal. It's part of the charm! lol

dirty coils? how do i prevent/clean efficiently
fishguy1123 replied to josephgarris09's topic in Coil Builds
Some liquids gunk up coils quickly. Dark or sweet flavors seem to do it more for me than others. The dry burn helps a ton to extend the life of a coil. -
If it were me, I'd start at 1.8-2.0 per coil, should come out to .9-1ohm build. This will give you an idea what the performance is like without going all the way to the deep end on the first try. Also, you should use liquids that are in the 3-6mg nic range even if you normaly use 12 or higher in tank style devices.

So why was it not important to you to report what you believe to be wrong doing befor you were laid off? Only now that you have a beef with them it's bad?

You could try steam-engine.org or if you have an android phone they have free ohms law calcs and vapers tool box as well. I have the mvp 2 and love it.

New member looking for a place to start...
fishguy1123 replied to JonnyKansas's topic in Introduce Yourself
Sucks to be both of you! lol If on a tight budget, one thing to keep in mind as you buy more tanks is to try and keep the ability to use the same coil heads. With all the new stuff out now it's easy to find yourself needing different style coils and adding to the expense. -

Welcome to VT! What part of MI are you in? -
Will, as a long time member I'm dissapointed in your comment..... It doesn't reflect what VT is about. IMO Draconis, if you chose this as your first post, poor choice.... IMO

Aspire Nautilus Cisco Spec HH Replacement Coils
fishguy1123 replied to jasonculp's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
Although I've never used the nautilus tanks, from the many positive reviews of the new bvc heads for flavor and vapor production I'd find it hard to buy a $10 head unless it lasts 2 months with cleaning and full flavor production. -
As always is the case over time we start with warnings about what is bad for us..... then, after a few years it's not so bad, or even worse then we were told.... Eggs were bad, now good... you name it. Drugs get passed, then class action lawsuits and an apology so to speek from the FDA.... At the end of the day we all know what makes us feel good and bad. We make choices, I've made several bad ones. The one good choice I can point to is vapeing instead of smokeing analogs. I was like most that never thought it was possible, it is as we've found possible! I welcome common sense regs to keep things safe for everyone. Beyond that I'd consider poor oversight/regulation.

What voltage are you using now on the coil heads? Also, some liquids will be best at lower or higher voltage/watts.

One post wonders are always questionable on any forum. If you have a real concern you will need to introduce yourself and provide more background about this issue. Otherwise, I call for a spam banhammer!

I third the question... Please follow up with some details to clarify. I'm happy to hear he's off the stinkies no matter how it happend!

We only like you for the cute baby pic for your avatar! JK!!!

No problem! Feel free to ask as you go. Always someone here that can provide some advice.

Welcome, so the basics go something like this.... With an RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer) you will need to wrap your own coils and install and wick (place cotton typicaly) through and around them in some way to allow the liquid to absorb. You will need something to check the resistance (Ohms) of the coils you build are, as well as an understanding of the limits of the device/batteries you use to run it. Simple Ohms calculators are free and easy on android phones. Without knowing what device you plan on useing in the future, or your liquid spec (nic, pg/vg etc..) I can only say that while useing RDA's it's common to reduce the nic level to 3 or 6mg even if you use 12+ in tanks. Others will likely chime in with more info, but please be sure all your questions are answered in some way before you start on that path. It's more about education than it is difficult. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the rough dims! I don't have a micrometer so that's a big help. I will check flea bay as well. Something like that I'm not too worried about. My local shops don't carry much, but I'll try one to see as well.
