Haha... no prob! I'm starting to think that my local B&M stores are so new to e-cigs that they just sell another (whatever it is) instead of understanding what the issue could be. Or at least trying to check on what it could be. Most of the customers seem to be a just give me another one sort of crowd. One shop has been my go to for smokeing supplies for a long time. Good guys! Thats why I stuck with them. Now that they're getting into e-cigs I want them to be as helpful to vapers as they are with analogs. I'd like to pass on my knowledge as I gain it I guess. Ok, from what I've read so far most vv/vw type devices have a no fire protection when a short is detected. And most reputable batt's have over charge/over discharge protection. Hopefully for a "std ego" style it may be just a bad coil not a crap batt.

In my quest to learn about vapeing and visiting a few smoke/vape shops everytime I would be chatting with the employee and a customer would walk in and say my batt "died". I chalked it up to cheap (read expensive) batt's. None of the shops asked about checking the coil for a short. Do std, ego.. vision... vv or not batts react the same as the mod batt's by not working if the coil shorts out? Could it have just been that they needed to replace the coil, or if not replaceable the carto etc...?

That's kinda priority 1 for me! lol I'm usually very protective of my electronics though. Zip locks for my cell when on the boat. Never know when a water fight breaks out!!!

Thats what I paid for the vv v3. Only 800mah, but being a passthru I'm hopeing it will be good for a few weeks till I order a back up. Will depend on how much I like it on whether I get a second, or a spinner I guess.

I thought about starting at 24mg, but since it will be a new toy so to speak, was worried I might use it too much the first few days and get sick. Since this is the first liquid I'm trying if I need stronger I can go the the B&M that close and get some 24mg if need be to get me through till I can place another order. Thats the plan at least.... lol

Great! I'm not sure if it was a clone, but I know I read on a site selling them that it had "extra" rivets to secure the top piece. Any recomendation on a reputable site the sells them?

I had thought the same about the egos. Since the Itaste is a passthru, and uses the micro usb I already have plenty of cell phone chargers I can use to begin with. Pick up a couple basic egos as back ups probly. How long has she been useing hers? I've heard the the authentic ones have a single rivet near the top and knock off's have multiple, any idea if thats true?
