In short, at times when first getting away from analogs thats what it takes. Keep going and as long as your nic level is correct you will come out the other side for the better. As far as loseing the taste, some seem to use coffee grounds as a pallet refresher. Sniff them and it helps to restore the the ability to taste. Just what I've read, can't hurt to try. Wow! Thanks for the detailed info. My question is, when it comes to coil costs, how did you determine the 3 week average? I would think that would play the biggest difference in cost comparison. Also probly the hardest thing to determine over a short period of time.

If I had to guess, I'd say the build up is getting "heated" up enough so that when you vape it the taste is transmitted through the air hole on the bottom of the coil. Much like the older rubber insulated kanger coil heads would get hot and then a rubber taste is present. Just my 2 cents.

I'm wondering if you weren't getting some condensation/e-liquid on your tounge. If it builds up in the center shaft then when you take a drag it can have a spicey/burning sensation. Just a thought.

Is the 510 pin screwed in all the way? Seems odd to have to unscrew the whole thing to get good contact though, usually the other way around and need to extend the pin.

The coil will have a marking on it stateing the ohm it's supposed to be. Most of the time they're .1 ish off. What setting are you useing on the vamo now?

Haha...... Aside from that, I always hear not to buy batteries from them because of the risk in customs. That may be just the "replaceable" type batts though.
