  1. As Bebop mentioned, in wattage mode (power) the device will adjust to the resistance (Ohms rateing) of the coil in your tanks. That would by why they say ist auto adjusts. It's still not always perfect, but will probly be close. The higher you have it set for in either mode (Voltage or Wattage) the more vapor it can produce. Other things go into vapor production as well like the pg/vg ratio of the juice you use. More VG will give more vapor. All of the info for your device should be in the user manual. Please read that and check back if you have more questions. Welcome to VT.
  2. Thanks Rich! The drip tip gets a small amount. I start to get a slight taste of e liquid in my mouth and sure enough it has a lil pool of it in the top cap. Still not a deal breaker though. Doesn't happen all day/night long by any meens.....
  3. Ummm.... sorry, not sure what you meant by that. 30G is good for what you want on an mvp though.
  4. If you have and android phone you can get an Ohms law calculator free. Otherwise you can check out steam-engine.com for some simple plug and play feedback on what they are talking about. Most quality 18650 batts now are well above 1600 mah. You might want to try a sony vtc4 or 5 and see if it helps on batt life.
  5. The biggest issue you will have with dual coils IMO is the sheer size of the coils to give you a resistance that your mvp will handle well. I'd have to recomend useing a single microcoil and getting it to work well with the coil build and wicking. The mvp has a good battery life but is limited when it comes to amps and dual coils will take a toll on the device. No reason you shouldn't be able to get an rda to work well with the mvp, but it's still not a mech mod at the end of the day. 1.2-1.5 should get you some decent vapor if built well and wicked right. Trial and error. Would be the same learning curve with a mech too. You just have some safegaurds built into your device now. How are you measuring your resistance? What guage wire? Sorry, you may have already said, I didn't read the whole thread. Thanks
  6. I'm not a mech owner, but first I'd ask if you feel like you're not getting what you need from your device? Have you, or someone else tested it? The veterans will need all the details on your mod to offer anything more than general tips.
  7. That's awesome! Sounds like you've been doing well. Congrats on the 5k and the rest of your progress with vapeing.
  8. Pretty much yes, maybe a bit more. I can feel the o-ring slip over the chimney so I think the design is ok and it seal well enough. Might just be some of the veteran users have some tips......
  9. It's not a deal breaker, doesn't actually leak out, just a small amount now and then. I just wipe it out. Still vapes well.
  10. I have an Ehpro KFL+ clone and notice after a few hours it gets a small pool of juice in the drip tip well. It rarely gets left on its side and doesn't have to be full when it happens. It's not condensation, it's actual juice. I don't get flooding/gurgleing nor does it leak out of the air hole. I rewicked it yesterday and added slightly more length to the wick. Anyone have any thoughts on what might cause this. The o-ring in the top cap is in place btw. Thanks
  11. You might want to check out Todds ecig reviews on youtube. He's across the pond as well. Might help with vendors there.
  12. You're doing it wrong if you lose half your stuff.... Just sayin! lol
  13. Hey! Just cuz it's shark week, don't blame the fish for EVERYTHING! Lmao
  14. Umm.... Fish? lol Don't drag me into this.... :P
  15. Yep! Almost bought that russian myself. lol
  16. Ma, you turn around and get confused.... lmao! JK!!!!!!!!
  17. Only point I would question is the recess of the v1 t v2, I think they are the same. My v1 is deep with o-ring just like the v2. Otherwise I think you basicaly covered it. Also, in my Ehpro kfl+ v1 clone the o-ring in the top cap for the chimney is held in by a groove to prevent it from falling out. Seems to be a shortfall in some without that.
  18. You will need and ohm meter, some kanthal wire, wicking material (organic cotton is popular), small drill bit selection or micro screw driver set to wrap the coils on, tweezers to start. Youtube has a ton of info on coil building as well as here. On the top right of the screen will be a search function, might help you narrow things down a lil. Aside from hardware, ohms law apps and vapors tool box for android phones or steam-engine.org for help with calculateing things. You might want to consider a lower nic level for juice if you decide to use an RDA, not sure what you normaly use though. Many use 6 mg or lower when dripping. Hope that helps.
  19. The 3.1 is taller. The base has a different setup. I like the lite plus as well as the russian versions that have the o-ring on the fill screw. Prevents seepage of liquid through the threads. The main benefit of the russian to me is the adjustable 510 pin. I haven't had an issue with my kayfun clone, but it's an option to consider. I think the one I bought also comes in black, just make sure the black finish is not on the inside (threads, tank, etc..) I should note, I have the KFL+ V1 clone. The V2 has very slight changes to the interior of the top cap and a different look to the top cap and drip tip.
  20. Tank sizes are basicaly the same on all of them. All come with plastic tanks, not sure if you can buy a pyrex replacement or not. The KFL+ is pretty much the same overall as the russian 91%. I recently bought an Ehpro clone of the KFL+ for under 30 shipped. Came with the full clear, center clear, and center SS tanks. I really like mine!
  21. Did you try changeing your cotton/wicking first? Once you drill you can't go back.
  22. Ordered 30mls of Fairys blood, pomagranite, and 15 mls of blackberry from SVC to try.
  23. Nope, that was for the radix box. Glad the others seem to be fine though
  24. If your battery doesn't come with a charger you will need one of those as well. For the vv v3 I use my cell phone charger. The coils will get gunked up after about a week in alot of cases, some last longer and some are just duds... lol You will start to notice a lack of vapor and the flavor will start to change, thats when you change it out. Some juices will cause it to crap out faster than others so you will just have to play it by ear until you get used to it a lil.
  25. The coil is what heats up to produce the vapor. They're replaceable on most newer tanks now. It just screws/unscrews inside the bottom or top depending on the model tank you buy. Very easy to do.
