I was going to change a 5 mill tank that was full to an atty. I unscrewed the tank from my battery and unscrewed the deck from the tank on accidet. 5 mills of juice on my lap. Looked like I pissed myself.

I've never tried either of those please let me know if they are worth trying. I prefer cotton over silica and wire mesh. I blew up a battery with the mesh. Not even sue what I did wrong but that was the first and last time I tried it. Lol

Try adjusting the pin inside on the top of your battery. Sometimes different tanks fit your connection a little deeper .turn your battery off and GENTLY lift the pin on your battery. Just slightly or you will pull it out. That usually worked with my ego batteries.

What kind of setup do you have?

i agree 100 % not only saving money but opening the world of "high end vaping" to everyone. Without clones anyone without deep pockets would be stuck with an ego battery and evod tank. You know if the original designers would produce more of there products and stop being so money hungry they would be able to compete. There would be no need for clones. But that's my opinion, who am I to tell them how to make their money.

Some people say yes, some people say no. What do you think? Does it work. Can I have have the best of both worlds in one shot?

Welcome. Just vape happy. I have gotten a lot of advice on here but the best was just be happy.

I feel the same way. I can't find the untreated cotton locally and I really don't like to order online (call me old fashioned). But I agree boiling it makes it taste less harsh.
