So me? I'm kind of a juice SNOB. Okay, not kind of. I AM. After about a week of vaping Bettie White, it just stopped doing ANYTHING for me. I tried EVERY SINGLE juice at my B&M (one of many, but it's my main one) and only found ONE other than G2 Mr Cookie that I like. Five Pawns, Bowdens Mate. Delicious in a tank, delicious mixed with Mr Cookie, and sooooo good dripped at .6 ohms. The sub-ohms really brings out the crisp mint flavor, while when mixed with cookie I get more of a smooth chocolate mint flavor, and straight up in a tank it's not as smooth but still delicious. Now.... I gotta go try more juices. I see a vape lounge hopping day coming up

Love five pawns! Have you tried any of their mixology yet? My fav from them is Bowdens Mate btw, welcome!

Teens being tempted into smoking analogs by using e-cigs?
Crazyavonlady replied to Patricia's topic in General Vape News
Teens, in my opinion, are more likely to grab a pack of cigarettes than an e-cig. They don't think about LONG TERM cost, just the RIGHT NOW cost. Period. When I was a teen, a $5-$7 pack of ciggs (sometimes cheaper with the cheaper brands) would totally override the $30 setup for an ecig. Even the ones you can buy in the gas statins, in my experience, are slightly more expensive than a pack of cigarettes. Teens need their money for other stuff, like shopping at the mall or buying stuff for their cars (or nowadays, diapers for their kids--I was a teen mom and I would buy diapers first and then cigarettes. Didn't have the extra cash to buy an ecig setup back then!) -
We have 2 batteries now to change out regularly, expecting more this week. On top of that, we each have a regular egos and a vv model as well. My husband takes my ego, his ego, and his vv to work with his tanks full so he doesn't have to worry about battery life or spilling juice. I have my magneto and ego CTwist at home and for me on the go since I have both of our VCT4 batteries at home. Having backups, backups for your backups, AND extra batteries is something that I think should be a REQUIREMENT! Haha. Seriously, though, it's a good idea to have backups, extra batteries, and backups for your backups and backups for you batteries.

juice mixer- awesome find!
Crazyavonlady replied to TheGregster's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
In my old Avon group, the admin would say "I got the wand out, DONT make me use it." And she would "poof" people who were not following rules. That almost makes me want to sell Avon again lol! (Crazyavonlady no longer sells Avon.) Totally off topic, I know, but that picture brought back those memories! -
Newbie"s First Order..Need Help!
Crazyavonlady replied to poptart200's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
Oh, and vapers knoll is owned by an AWESOME person. We had a meet there, and someone's mod was taken, accidentally or not...we don't know. The owner found him a new mod and gave it to him a few days later. Same mod, just different #.... -
Newbie"s First Order..Need Help!

I am a former menthol smoker, and did not like any menthol juices at first (made me want a cigarette). I stick with a local vendor (yes I pay slightly higher prices...but knowing the person who makes my juice makes a difference) and when I'm not vaping g2, I'm vaping five pawns Bowdens mate (another slightly pricey juice, but it's the only mint flavor that I've enjoyed). Vape dojo has some good flavors (not sure if they ship or not)... I've heard nothing but good reviews on their ecto cooler. The vapers knoll is also reasonably priced, they make their juices in house ($35 for 100 ml of basic juice) but again, idk if they ship.... I'll have to ask around. -
Lung! I honestly CANT see myself doing mouth to lung, unless it is on a setup that almost requires it. I was told to do a mouth to lung on one setup at a lounge, thought I have lungs of steel and tried a straight lung hit.... I will listen to more experienced vapers from now on.

Never heard of it! We have an aerotank and a nautilus for our every day tanks, as well as kanger t3s for backups. I have an igo w4 as my RDA, not sure what my husband has. We use ego, ego twist, I have a magneto,, and he has a different mod (again, not 100% on my husbands set up). I love my aerotank, he loves his nautilus. The t3s tanks do have drilled holes (itty bitty ones though) and so does my aerotank. Not sure why he insists on hitting EVERY single tank with a drill bit, but my husband does love tinkering with things so that may explain it. -
k100 and igo-w4 questions
Crazyavonlady replied to Outlawmayhem's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I don't know what size drill bit my husband used for the holes on mine. I was told to make sure the holes are close to the coils too, and that has helped tremendously! -

Kanger Aero or Aspire Nautilus?
Crazyavonlady replied to Eaglewtchr's topic in General Vaping Discussion
My husband drilled out the hole in his aero because....I honestly have no idea. He likes tinkering with things! He then gave it to me so now I have an aero with drilled out holes! -
I should mention.... I didn't build either coil. I do not feel comfortable enough with my own building skills at this point in time and safety is a priority for me. Both were built by separate experienced vapers who rebuild all the time. The next coils I will build under the supervision of someone experienced, and it will be that way until I feel comfortable enough with my mods and experience.

Left is .62 ohm dual coil on a basic RDA. Right is 1.2 ohm single coil in an aerotank with drilled air holes.

As a parent, nothing pisses me off more than when my kids lie to me, except when they lie and know that I already know the truth. As an adult child, nothing upsets my parents more than being lied to. I moved out when I was 17, and I still had to go to my mother for many things for school, so lying about my activities was never an option. When I turned 18, though, it never crossed my mind to lie to my parents. They both know everything about me, and the relationship I have with each of them is very close and I can tell them ANYTHING. As a wife, it pisses me off when my husband tells even little white lies to his parents. It makes me think that it would be easy for him to lie to me if it's so easy for him to lie to his parents. Lying to your parents, essentially, WILL affect future relationships. Not necessarily about this, but in general. I know it may be hard, but put yourself in their shoes. And keep open the conversation with them, trust me it will help you long term. When you're in your mid-20s and need someone to talk to, your parents won't be wondering if you're lying to them. Honesty is ALWAYS best, even when it may hurt someone's feelings, because then you become the person everyone can count on to ALWAYS tell the truth. Please don't try to fool the nic test, or lie to your parents. You will regret it. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not in a month or year, but one day you WILL.

We are part of a local group of vapers, and since I do NOT want to rebuild anything without someone experienced beside me, one of them came over yesterday and rebuilt my aerotank coil and built a dual coil for my husband's dripper. I also have a dual coil in my dripper (built by someone else in our group). My aerotank has the holes drilled out (courtesy of my hubby) and has a 1.2 ohm single nano coil in it. The cloud is comparable to my .62 ohm dripper! I absolutely LOVE how the vaping community is-- everyone is so willing to help out noobs and they take time to help out, and the guys who are showing us how to build coils are taking us step by step, until they (and we) feel safe for us to go at it alone, which shows that this community really CARES about the safety of noobs. (Hello cloud!)

Vaping to curve junk food cravings and relieve stress
Crazyavonlady replied to Mark999's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I started vaping to quit smoking but have found that my cravings for sweets has also declined greatly. My thirst for water has increased greatly, therefore cutting my soda drinking down. I have started drinking a tad bit more coffee though, less sugar and cream because my vape is sweet, for the caffeine. I am coming off of nicotine slowly, don't want to cut out caffeine totally and give myself major migraines! -
I can see where Tam is coming from, though. eGo batteries are supposed to last, not die out in 3 months. That being said, I DID have a device that died within two weeks of me getting it. Like, wouldn't even charge anymore die. I don't know the usage my father put on it, but I switched to an eGo battery, then a knockoff eGo CTwist (which I'm pissed that the lounge passed off as a genuine Joyetech.... We didn't know better as new vapers), and now I have a magneto and dripper and have ventured into subohming. No issues with either eGo, I think my husband got a dual starter kit for like $30. My twist was like $20. Magneto I have NO clue on the cost because it was a trade off, we got it basically for free. Dripper was free too (we run a website where we live and a lounge sponsors us and really takes care of us). Cost of getting a full set up is cheaper in the long run than the cigalikes. I too know someone who quit on the cigalikes but he was very determined due to being a musician and smoking messing with his vocals. FTR the device that died out was not an eGo.

Been vaping for a bit over a month now, and have wanted a good chocolate mint flavor. I have found it. Five Pawns Bowdens Mate. OMG. Something has FINALLY tasted as good as Mr. Cookie to me. AND when I stop tasting Mr. Cookie, I can vape on Bowdens Mate for a bit and BAM! I can taste Cookie again. Yessss!
-
Might look in to doing that. But I would have to have a good base flavor. I keep passing along flavors I don't like so much to new vapers.

I have been vaping g2 Mr. Cookie and Vaznilla mixed pretty much since day one. It is my ALL day vape. I'm started to get bored, so I would like some suggestions on a replacement or addition. I have Bettie Davis (by Uncle junks), and it's okay, but it's starting to feel harsh. Here's what I need- Something smooth, not harsh. 50/50 or more vg. Not max vg though. No fruit custard. Hubby has some and it makes me nauseous to vape it. Can't break the bank. Must MUST must have sweet undertones. No huge throat hits. As an all day vape, I want it to be smooth enough for me to vape as soon as I wake up (a big throat hit really hurts in the early am for me) Can't stress enough that it's gotta have sweetness to it. No coffee flavors-- all coffee flavors taste like popcorn to me! I've tested a LOT.... And they have all tasted like some form of popcorn. Any suggestions?

Not Tim the Tool Man Taylor.... He does electronics mostly. And he invests in flashlights. I should say that one closet isn't packed full of tools because it also has our security system/camera system and bathroom stereo system hookups in it. (Yes, he put a full stereo system in my bathroom. So I can listen to music and tune out the world when I take a bath.)

Hubby is a tech geek--- I'm sure there's an Ohm meter SOMEWHERE in his TWO CLOSETS or SHED full of tools and various supplies! We have a great relationship with a local shop, (they actually sponsor our website), and will be doing 99.99999% of our shopping there. (Very big into keeping our $ local). Thanks for all the tips! I think once hubby gets his setup done, he can teach me at home. He has a magnito (spelling?) and is working on getting a RBA setup now.
