I'd reccomend going to the VT Store or vaporgalaxy.com or wordupecig.com and getting an eGo kit , a few extra atomizers, and a few bottles of 18-24 mg juice. Throat hit is the feeling you get when you inhale (what made you cough in the beginning). If you smoke menthol now you will probably like the VaporTalk Mentha or any of the menthol juices on other sites. Although the juice is all different and you may have to go through a few before you find the taste you like. Doh! Brian beat me here so....what he said too!!

It really depends on the manufacturer (quality) and the user (how heavy they vape). Some last quite a while while others will die in a week. It is always hit and miss as they are subject ot the heating/cooling cycle MANY times.

The eGo with some 24mg juice will be most peoples choice for starters. The level of nic in the juice is what gives the hit. Higher voltage will create more TH because its burnin more juice, hence, you will go thru juice faster with higher voltage. I started on a DSE 901 and 24 mg and choked like I was trying to inhale with my first ever analog! Some other people will have to expound on the whole high/ var. voltage thing as I have not tried it....YET LOL And yes on the heartwarming! We are more like a family round here than you will see on other forums. Always eager and happy to help out and give advice! Even if we are wrong sometimes....lol members will speak up and correct us if we are not spot on with answers.

higher voltage is just more TH and some say more vapor. mAh on batteries is just the capacity....how long they last.

Don't think just get the kit!!!! Kits come with 2 batts one batt will last most of the day! 2 attys, 2 cones, wall charger AND usb charger!! 5 Marlb. flavor carts. charges in a couple of hrs! 510 cartos will fit and LR will be all u want to use on it once you try it!! eGo is THE BOMB!!!

cartos tend to be a lot more "airy" than attys and they taste funky until you get them broke in. The regular cartos are kinda weak to me on 3.7v so I only use mine when i have to. I'm going to get a 5v mod to use my cartos on. I've heard they perform way better on 5v.

The eGo is the best kit out there!!! MANY people..... newbies and vets use the eGo! The Battery in the eGo will last you most of a day. Start with 18 to 24 mg juice for TH . As for flavor, you just have to try them out. For a tobacco juice I prefer Dulcis from VT or RY4 from wordupecig,com there are LOTS of flavors out there If you can dream it up somebody makes it! You will get plenty of responses shortly. Most will be in agreement on the eGo!! It's an awesome PV for the money!!

Yup! That too. The bridge seems to hang on to a lil fluid so it does not leak as bad, but it still gets to the coil.

NO comparison!!! I started with the 901....was gifted a 905. They were great........................UNTIL I got my Ego!!!!!! My 901 stuff got Payed Forward to a newbie and my 905 is now a shelf decoration/ back up unit! GO FOR THE EGO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually the 905 is the same as a 901 with greatly extended battery life.

takes about a minute and a half to remove the wick only. It is just a few polyester /nylon threads stuck under the bridge. use a toothpick to pick them out enough to grab with tweezers and you are done! I think no need joe.... IMO you'll go thru more juice and drip more often for the same effect.
