Just got another one from vapor galaxy.It is a chrome one though, nice shape and the hole is funnel shaped, I have not sucked any juice thru this one like I have with my other one. That one has a straight bored hole. I've been thinking that the plastic ones wouldn't transfer heat as much. Thanks for confirming that!

I had the same thing happen and it was the wick , under the bridge in the atomizer that was doing it. They are easy to get out, but it's best to do it before you ever use the atty. I just got some 510 cartos and have had no burnt taste yet. I'm wondering if there is no "wick" like in the regular attys.

I think my first atty is finally going out. It lasted over a month! All I ever did was run hot tap water thru it every now and then, blow it out, and a short dry burn! Do cartos have a wick like the atomizers do?
