problem with Itaste vv v.3 reading protank mini 2
44shooter replied to samp1590's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
ok solution: pulled pin on topper out pretty far and carefully attached to battery. as long as I dont take it off, I'm good. When I pull the battery post up, the tank just pushes it back down. so I assume things arent always lining up. Cant wait for mod parts to get here and I wont have this problem. Thanks for the help! -
problem with Itaste vv v.3 reading protank mini 2
44shooter replied to samp1590's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
I am having a similar problem. I have 3 batteries and many tanks. my ego type cheapo tanks work fine on my ego/510 batteries. I also have a Protank 3 and a Drunker tank. If I attached either of those 2 tanks to the ego batteries, the light on the battery flashes, which I assume is a short. sometimes if I back the topper off a turn or so, it will fire. this adjustment is super critical. there is only a very fine line where the tank will fire. Go to far and it wont work again. I just tried pulling the battery pin up. didnt make any difference. Any ideas? Makes no sense to me. -

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New

Just got a handful of T3S tanks at a great price. Really like them. Good taste and vapor. no flooding (yet) -
I'm using an Aspire BDC vivi glass tank right now and it has great flavor and vapor. I also have an Aspire BDC clearomizer. Works well, but the vivi seems to work better..

if you're not in a hurry, try fasttech. get a few bottom coil tanks. expect 2-4 weeks delivery from fastech. but really cheap. I use a vendor here in the states, but most dont ship overseas. The Protank is a good choice if you want something quality.

I use some T2 tanks from time to time. they are cheap and the replacement heads are cheap too, I also clean the removable heads in the ultrasonic and they last pretty long. If you get some extra heads you can rotate them out.

Diluted Ethyl Maltol is considered cotton candy flavor. Perhaps add a very little cherry and you should be close. You can buy EM in crystal form and make your own or just buy cotton candy flavor. I got my last bottle from MBV. Can use as sweetener for almost any recipe.

I use tanks during the day when I'm traveling. I picked up a couple of these and have been pretty happy with them. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/aspire-ce5-bottom-dual-coil-bdc/ I also still use some T2's and they usually work ok but sometimes seem to lack. When I'm at home I usually drip on a IGO-W

Im a couple weeks in also. Started on Halo and have bought juice from all over to try. My favorite and ADV is the juice I started on. Halo Tribecca. A lot of the other juices I bought are good, but I get tired of after a while and pick up my dedicated Tribecca tank. The only thing I dont like about Halo juice is the price. I was hoping I'd find something I like just as much for less money. Still looking.

I am pretty new to vaping myself. When I got my first kit I didnt like it because it made me cough. I just started out with smaller hits. I tried different ways of drawing a puff. After about 3 days, vaping a little more each day, the coughing problem was gone. I think its the vapor hitting your lungs when you arent used to it. Also I was told that if you still smoke analogs, you will cough. I think the more you vape the less you will cough. within a few days I was taking enormous draws with no cough. good luck

Noob question on battery compatibility
44shooter replied to 44shooter's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Thanks for the info. That answered my question. Vape on. -
I am pretty new to vaping. all my hardware is Halo brand. I have some G6 batteries and tanks and a Triton battery and tank which is my main use. If I want to try out some other batteries, tanks and accessories, what is compatible with this system? I gather it is all about the threads? does anyone know what thread type Halo uses on these devices? Can I try other brands of tanks with this battery? Can i buy other battery systems to use with these tanks? Trying to learn the ropes. Thanks Mark

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Day 4. No desire to go back. I am using the Halo Triton Tank. So far just Halo juice. I love the Tribecca. I have ordered a couple juices from Mt Baker. They were cheaper and I figured worth trying out. I have not received them yet. I'm happy with my Triton, but I read all these posts about other products. I've never used anything else, so am I missing something? If I want to try some different products without spending a lot of money, is there something I should get? Halo products seem to be top quality. They dont have the variety of products I see from other vendors. Any advice? Mark

HI New to the forum and pretty new to vaping. Started about 2 weeks ago and gave up the cigarettes today. Haven't been smoking much all week. I like the vapor better. I've been smoking for 35 yrs and have tried everything to quit only to start again after a few months. This was easy with the vapor. Have no interest in smoking. A friend who recently switched sent me a HALO G6 starter kit. He said he researched and Halo makes some of the best stuff at a good price. I have since bought some Halo tank products and some juices. I've been vaping their Tribecca exclusively. the other stuff i got tastes like a musty cigar. Just ordered up a few new juices from Mt Baker Vapors. So far I'm really enjoying this and so glad to be off the cigs. I am located in South Central PA. Mark
