i have seen alot of questions about cleaning and when to clean atomizers and cartomizers. so i thought i would help.

well i use mine for at least a week. i had a single cartomizer last me a whole month. grantee you it had nowhere near the great flavor i would have gotten from a new one. but vapor was still good. but yah it all depends on how much money you have and i dont have much and i make my stuff last. and trust me i vape almost 24/7 as i never sleep.

ECF has a rather good one of these threads, where someone posts something they don't want, and in the next post down the person says "I'll take that" and posts something else they don't want, so its a give and take. I would suggest opening up one of these on VT but ECF has literally thousands of active users which makes it a little easier. But everyone on VT is 1000x friendlier than those on ECF!!

Well I am new to vaping and just got my new ecig 2 days ago. At first I was loving it. It was from a company called joycig (not joye). I didn't do my research and was just going off a recommendation from a friend. He said joye but I ended up ordering from the wrong company. Sneaky bastards! Well they have a 30 day return policy, which is great cause the unit sucks (and not in a good way). It is almost identical to the blucig starter pack. I noticed right off the bat that the batteries only lasted an hr that's till one of the batteries completely died on me yesterday. It'll say it's charging and when it's done I plug it into my atty and nothing.The cartridges are way overfilled too; as soon as you plug it in starts leaking from the sides and the first 10-15 drags I get juice in my mouth. Not to mention they use the same annoying foil covers blu does. It also got so hot yesterday that I had to put it down for fear of burning myself. Five minutes later I smell a weird almost hair burning smell so I pick it up and its still red hot to the touch. After that the battery was shot. Now on to the good news. After reading a lot of positive reviews I ordered the eGo from awesomevapor. I also ordered the monster atty for it too. I'm excited to get it. I like the idea of vaping (when it worked)and won't let one bad experience define what vaping is. It works for me. I'm not completely off the analogs yet but I know I will be. Hey going from a pack and a half a day to 3 analogs day one should tell ya something. Off topic but do you guys enjoy vaping more than you did smoking or do you still crave an analog from time to time?

That's amazing. If she will clean my house I will buy one regardless of the price tag!

i commented on it because people are crying about all the harmful side affects of an analog cig.

We have a hookah bar in wichita! i love that place it fun to just sit there and listen to music and chill with your friends and try all the flavors they have! And i have never walked out of there coughing of feeling ill. i always fell ALOT better than if i was smoking cigs.

I have been using cartomizer for a VERY long time now. i have not gotten sick from them. but they dont ever get left out in the heat. and my room is always nice and cold. but i guess that might be why. i dont see very much harm being done. but that might just be me. lol

Hi.. Noob here. Regarding downsides to e-cigs, one I'm wondering concern I've thought about about seems valid to me-- prolonged storage of used moist cartomizers can develop mold undetected due to enclosure. Use of such a cartomizer could result in a major lung infection causing serious illness or death.

I'd like to know if there is any data substantiating this concern, but to me, it sounds legit because you're drawing in foreign air particles (which can include airborne bacteria and viruses) that embed themselves in the batting. Unless refrigerated, the contaminated batting under optimal conditions (warm temperature, moist environment) is subject to bacterial growth and mold spores. And we all know the dangers in breathing in mold.

While I've not heard anyone dying from use of e-cigs yet, it's still relatively new and perhaps this might be the reason for the first death? I wonder what tests have been made on e-cigs to ensure this is not an issue? It seems like a legit scenario I would want to test for if I was in charge of quality and safety testing.

Now, one might argue the heat from the atomizer will curb growth, but what if you don't use it for several days or weeks? Will the heat from the vaping action prevent spores from being inhaled? Probably. Probably not.. But until these things are tested, questions are answered, it's probably something to think about...

Man, I didn't even do that when I smoked analogs... ouch!

Here's another tip to help with the harshness:
Inhale into your mouth then breath the vapor into your lungs. Do not directly inhale into your lungs like you would a analog cigarette.

All I know is that I can breathe a whole lot easier than I could before. I don't get winded like I did before either.

We call them our adult pacifiers.

yah i use a dremel with the little cutting wheel but only cut a little bit on where the connector is. because that is about all you will use from it to make a mod if you go any further you can get into the batter and fling battery acid all over the place. trust me i did it on accident.

everyone says that cartos are disposable. but i use them all the time. they work great. to me they last the same as an attomizer. but are alot more easier to deal with than terrible attys. i LOVE LOVE LOVE cartomizers!

You know, almost all of your post have said the exact same thing in one form or another. You want to vape and you want your wife to vape, who doesn't.

I'm not sure what point your trying to make on the forum or where your going with this, but members have already given you their input, many times over. I personally think it's idiotic to start vaping if you don't smoke. Why bother? To relax? Have a cup of tea, exercise or read a book.

Either way it's your choice, but please, stop posting the same topic/post over and over again.

I so feel your pain. USPS is becoming rather unreliable lately, it seems.

i just start vaping and throwing out big clouds of vaper and if someone asks explain it to them. they usually understand. just be nice about it and if they dont want you to do it. just go somewhere else with it.

One of the main reasons I switched to, and love, cartos!
But, you need to blow out the factory primer then drip 4 or 5 drops and vape a few times and add a few more drops. They tend to like to be nice and wet prior to using for the first time. If you don't get them good and soaked then you will get that lovely burnt metal taste... the taste I don't miss at all since converting to cartos! Good luck... I'm sure someone will tell you what you need to know.

yah jolly ive built a passthrought and im pretty good with wires and stuff. i work on cars all the time im a pretty handy mad. but its a surprise on whats the mods will be cause im not exactly sure just yet ive got the bodies and everything ive just got alot of ideas runnning through my head right now. lol

he thinks you are using carts. not cartomizers. listen to what i said. not trying to be rude just not trying to confuse you. lol
