Been searching this one too. I'm trying to find differences (for direct drip) in the Propylene base and Veggie base (i think that's right?) I think the Polly base stuff is harder on the throat after vaping for a while but has better flavor quality over the smoother veggie base, I think? I've been vaping VT's reg tobacco and I think it;'s propylene based because it taste's fantastic, but my throat is a little raw from the past couple of days. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, I could use the insight! Anyway, I'm gonna try to find a strong Tea flavor and something bold and nutty! Let me know if ya come up with something good! p.s. The VaporTalk tobacco flavor is yummy!

Yeah, I'm using the wall plug and the battery with the sticky button charges in like 1.5 hrs, green lights and all, but the other battery can't get them damn red lights to turn green, lol... Oh well, I'm going to try that new charger when it gets here and see what happens, Thx again for sending it out, hope it works!

/bump to a good question... ever figure that out?

Wow, they responded already!:: Ethan (Tue, 04 May 2010, 01:22PM): Hey Jim, As per our agreement with Vaportalk, you will need to contact their customer support regarding this issue. It sounds to me like it could simply be a circuitry issue with the charger. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Ethan

Well, here's my eGo unofficial review: (more like the email I sent to JantyUSA) I received my eGo yesterday, that I purchased from VaporTalk. I charged both batteries for about 1.5 hours, until the charger lights turned from red to green. I used one for a few minutes and the led light was stuck on until I pushed the button a few times. So I switched to the other battery and used it for about 6 hours or so, and went to bed for the night. This morning, I plugged in the one I used more, to charge it up. The charger lights remained red for over 5 hours and never turned green. I plugged in my replacement battery and the lights went from red to green in about 15 minutes. Both batteries seem to work fine, but the lights don't go green with one of the batteries and the other battery's led button sticks now and then. I am very pleased with this product, other than the above mentioned. I am now two days cigarette smoke free and not looking forward to going back to cigarettes until I can get this resolved, but I'd rather avoid the risks of ignoring battery defects.

that is a relief, thanks!

When I received my eGo, I pluged it in and the indicator lights said it was fully charged after about 1.5 hours. I'm pretty sure it's thwe rapid charger so I figured it was all good. I puffed on it all night, about 6 hours or so, left it on the dresser over night and plugged it in to charge this morning. It's been over 5 hours and the lights are still red. I'm getting worried that somethings not right! Is this normal because it's new or something?

Awesome reply, thx tons! I tried a regular tea bag today and pretty much just wasted 10 drops >< anyway, thx again Kitsune!

Yea, it's the exact same stuff that's in a Marlboro butt. Have ya tried anything besides tea bags or polly?
-
I was just poking around and couldn't seem to find this. I've seen tea-bag material used to re-stuff carts and some kind of polly fill like found in pillows. Is it pretty limited to tea bags and polly? I have a couple boxes of empty tubes (for my tobacco rolling machine) and was wondering if I can use the fiber that's in the butts of those tubes to stuff in my 510 cart? Have you guys tried any different materials? What was the outcome?
-
To drip that much at once into a carto, it's safe to assume they're much larger and have some kind of materiel in them to soak it all up? ...and thank you guys for the insight, have been very helpful!

Just trying to get a grip on all this... I understand the atomizer is what turns the liquid to vapor. I also get that the atomizer attaches to the battery and the mouthpiece is what you drip into then attaches to the atomizer (I think). I hear you drip 2-3 drops, get 4-5 puffs, and repeat. The atomizer cost like $25 for 3pk and will need replaced after a few weeks? I think...? Then there's the cartomizer. It's an atomizer built into a cartridge. So, it just screws onto the battery? No need for the original atomizer? Do ya drip-fill these? 2-3 drips, 4-5 puffs, how many times can ya repeat this before ya just replace the carto altogether? They're $10 for 5pk, so might be better in the long run, financially? Gah... so confused! but tryin' hard to understand...

I was showing this stuff to my wife and she pointed out a good question: The eGo comes with a cone shaped atomizer cover. Is it possible to buy a replacement cover? I couldn't find it anywhere. Hope to hear back soon! Thx guys!

Wow, awesome video, thx tons for the insight! I managed to find a pic of what I bought... trying to figure out how to add it... anyway, with all that in mind, How does this sound: Janty eGo starter kit + 3 Pack of Joye 510 Atomizers + Vapor Talk Midnight E Liquid Another question though, I see 2-3 drops into atomizer... how many draws does that give ya? (considering typical 4-6 sec draws)And how many drops do ya think are in a bottle? I'm just trying to get an idea of what exactly to order, I'm going to place an order tonight! One more thing... If I order tonight, when do ya think it will arrive to Michigan? Damn, I ask a lot... sry guys >< Just excited!

Haha... can't find the edit button, so I guess I just have to add to it... I meant to say I bent those 2 atomizers on the cheap garbage vaporizer I nabbed from a local smoke shop, not on the eGo...
-
Forgot to add... I managed to bend/break 2 atomizers while they pierced through the foil on a filter/cartridge... very cheap. So now I'm all worried about the integrity of these atomizers. Anyone have similar issues, or can shed some light on the eGo's atomizer?
-
Im probably going to go with the Janty eGo. However, all of the stores atomizers are Joye brand 510 Atomizers. Does this make a diff? Are all 510 atomizers universal, or do I need specific ones?
