  1. The original question was in regards to Resistance not Watts. You should pay more attention dannyk. Besides you gave the same answer just worded differently. And maybe you should have taken my physics class but no doubt i would have tutored you there as well.
  2. My Nemmy! So happy!!!! Cant wait for my batteries and atty. Hope the photo loaded.
  3. I actually have an bachelors in applied physics so i understand the basics. And what i said before was a fact. Google it if you must. I dont however understand the need for condescending comments. You either agree with me or you dont. While disagreeing with me doesnt offend me, the condescending arrogance of your comment does. And to think i expected that everyone would remain adult. Tsk tsk.
  4. Forgot to mention that by widening the hallway and lowering resistance, we are emptying the room faster as well. Unless you decrease the voltage to compensate the battery will deplete at a faster rate.
  5. On a VV/VW unit you CAN increase battery life with LR coils. As you can set the voltage lower to achieve the same plumes. However most people dont think to lower the voltage, they use a lower resistance with the same voltage to achieve a better vape. The your coil wire can be thought of as a hallway that a mass of people(electrons) are passing through. The tighter the hallway the less traffic and the longer the room at the end stays full. Now imagine all those people running down the hallway... this is an increase in voltage. Room empties quicker... if they all walk very slowely a decrease in voltage, the room(battery) stays full longer. If we widen that hallway we tighten that hallway we have more resistance if we widen the hallway we reduce the resistance. Hope my analogy helps.
  6. Thanx Troy i appreciate your helpfullness in suggesting there may be lead. Ive checked with a magnet. It is a ferrous material the possible lead content worries me though. I hadnt thought of that one. Ill jusy stick with the Kanthal then. Lmao I have been referred to as being the most foolish genius by my Dad. Here, my excitement gets the better of me.
  7. Besides how do you think the first mods were created in the first place? By people as creative as me!
  8. Just so you know Proteus... my "shenanigans" as you call my creative streak paid off. Works like a champ. Doesnt last as long as Kanthal but hey i can get a slew of em from boxes of trash bags and they last a day or so. So WIN/WIN. and for your information i have a fluke meter and years of electrical experiance so i know what im doing for the most part. Who are you to criticize me for Edison and Franklinesque inventiveness?
  9. I dont even know their names. Haha one just came in a purple box with a yellow v striped on the front and said ejuice the other was a flavor from a B&M here in Palm Coast. Both pretty generic ill admit.
  10. My Nemmy will be here today so ill post up pics tonight
  11. Make sure your coil wire has NO ALUMINUM this is very important as aluminum will give you this taste as well as being slightly toxic. Just a thought
  12. My suggestion is to try a myriad of tanks batteries and juices to determine what works for you. I started with a 650 eGo non variable and supplemented it with a vision spinner 1000mah i got a T3S but noticed my bottom center pin seal would leak juice into my batt. just a flaw with that head really I bought three more tanks at 1.8 ohm to fullfill my heavy vape like and six different flavors. So five tanks in total and two batteries to start with. Ive not had a cig in five days now not have i had a craving one. Trial and error just DONT GIVE UP!!! Theres so many combinations you WILL find what works for you. And remember Keep Calm And Vape On.
  13. A lower resistance coil will drain your battery faster as the electricity flows through the coil more freely.
  14. Neither have i, its a bunch of hooie if y'all ask me. Just somebody tryna sell wolfcookies!
  15. I do know for a fact that with 9 volts it glows cherry. So im making a coil as we speak bout 3mm in dia. and with 7 wraps ill update this when i determine the successfullness of this attempt on 3.7v.
  16. I have a Vivi Nova on an x fire vv battery. I use 95% VG all the way up to 4.8v at times with no problems. Every toot is thick and rich.
  17. All the suppliers ive tried dont taste quite right either too much cinnamon or too much nutmeg. Any one suggest an optimum supplier?
  18. Try exhaling ever so often through your nose. As our sense of taste is largely dependant on our sense of smell.... well you get the idea. I do this regularly as it improves the taste of my juices.
  19. I ordered what i like to call LifeWater, after the beverage of the same name, from ejuicemonkey.com. its a 50/50 blend of Dragonfruit and Blueberry in a strictly VG base (theres always a tad bit of PG from the flavourings though). Let it set on a shelf, cap on, and shook it periodicaly. It tasted like monkeyballz when i first tried it. So i let it set like i said for about two weeks and the LifeWater is AMAZING!!!!
  20. ejuicemonkeys.com over 500 flavors in all nic strengths as well as 0 with varying bases from PG PG/VG VG and Drippers Blend. They will also mix custom flavors at no extra charge. But all their flavors are small batch runs so be sure to let them steep a bit before vaping or their flavors wont fully develope.
  21. I smoked nothing but menthol and i can vape menthol laced liquids continuously. But i hate mint! Who knew? Lol good to hear you enjoy your juice Josh. KCAVO!!
  22. Actually the higher the number the thinner the wire. Reference this link. http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/awg-wire-gauge-circular-mils-d_819.html
  23. Is there any type of wire easily found around the house thats safe to use for coils that performs well? Im interested in trying a bread tie. I used one minus the paper and plastic to make a homemade cigarette lighter while in jail so im curious to know if anyone has tried this on a vaporizer.
