THAT's something I can grasp my mind around and make sense of. "A whole day of heavy vaping" or "3 to 4 days of vaping" has proven inaccurate for me. Thank you for that .. TotallyWicked was the first place I saw them and the owner has done a video review of them. I've since seen them on several sites and they may be priced lower if you check around. You could support your favorite site and order from the store here (on site) as they supply eGo's, batts, attys, carts & cartos, as well as delicious PG liquids. There are eGo USB batteries that work like true passthroughs in that you can charge & vape the battery at the same time. There is a post about it here. It's all you'd need for now since you are already setup with 510 attys and carts/cartos. I haven't tried these and they are very new to the market but I did speak with someone who loves his and he did a brief demo on cam. Once charged you can unplug, screw the little cap onto the bottom and you're ready to go. Ooh you could buy an adapter and use it as a PT in the car!

I love to hear people talk about how they quit smoking as soon as they began vaping. There is no right or wrong. Any cutback on smoking is a vast improvement and I didn't guilt myself too much for mixing it up a couple of times (vaping & smoking). When I moved and could not place orders though I went back to smoking for about a month and a half but the moment my next order arrived I quit smoking for good. Oddly enough, I didn't crave a cigarette until yesterday. I vaped pretty religiously for about half an hour and forgot it ever happened. Don't be hard on yourself so long as you're making the effort because you WILL get there! AND .. if you find yourself having a day/week/month that's difficult you come here and lean on us. We're here for one another, 24/7 and you can take that to the bank and deposit it with all that money you'll soon be saving (or in lieu of it if you're like me and spend on new vaping stuff all the time - it's become a welcomed hobby).

Riva is basically an ego/tornado, right? Yeah, I like the look with the cone, too but have the same problem. I thought it was because the cone holds in the heat which makes the liquid thin out .. Do they come in red?

There are a lot of suppliers out there that mix-to-order. Now that you've experienced both perhaps you could try a 50/50 PG/VG blend. From there you should have a better idea if you'd like more PG, more VG or if the 50/50 is just right for you.

Dayvape, I beg to differ. The only time I experience a harsh taste is with PG or when my husband runs my attys dry. Direct dripping with PG vs VG: 3 drops of PG vape a lot faster than 3 drops of VG and that means more encounters with dry or almost dry atty which equates to nasty, harsh hit. This is when I grab the nearest iced tea, coffee, gum or w/e to pop in my mouth. ick! Though now that I'm mixing my own (part-time) I do agree that a little PG added to the VG is the best option, for me, to dilute viscosity. Somewhere around 5% PG is my preference.

For me the harsh hits and burnt taste were enough to have me consider giving up vaping until someone directed me to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap1c4EwKRAY. The material used as 'wicking' is a poly-type fiber that is naaaasty on my taste buds. I do not remove my bridge. I repeat: I do not remove my bridge and because I don't I can still use regular cartridges and prefer to do so with blue foam fluval. I'm always going to be a dripper though. PG vapes dry and you do feel it in your throat, but that throat hit is something you may like - or not. It's a dry, warm vapor. Higher nic does make you cough more, definitely affects TH (throat hit) Moi? VG @ low nic of 6 to 12 mg which is equivalent to ultra light & light cigarettes. I like VG .. to me it vapes "clean" meaning I feel like something has just washed through my lungs and cleansed them (I'm not saying this really happens). It's a cool, misty feeling vapor but the thickest clouds of vapor you'll ever .. omg, just try it!

It needs work - tastes more like Juicy Fruit, but that's ok cause it moves me (get it?) "The taste .. the taste .. the taste is gonna move ya!" How many posts do you have? Do you have a cocktail or party vape that you like?

I'm also just getting into DIY and while I'm not very experienced with niquids yet, I have had some in the kitchen. I'm thinking perhaps while increasing flavor maybe you don't need to continue increasing sweetener? I like my juices sweet, too. But at some point things can get too sweet. I also agree with mixing flavors. Doesn't have to be an even percentage of flavors. Think of what you might like to taste in the background (back of your palate) or an aftertaste. For example, I like coffee flavors with hints of cocoa and/or caramel and/or honey and/or .. you get the idea. Don't you give up yet!

Maybe you should be? O' will you be labeling and marketing any of these? I love caramel in my coffee juice!
