Increase Th With 0 Mg Nicotine Juice?
noXious replied to Wannavape's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
What if a doctor is prescribing you nicotine for some reason. What then? That's really twisted that your insurance company would drop you. Sometimes I get so sick of our bs healthcare .. I don't know what to tell you WannaVape but my heart goes out to you. I hope you find what it is you seek and ultimately pass your test. You're certain they draw blood? -
Getting The Last Drops Out Of The Bottle

Uma you crack me up .. in a good way. Too cute -
If you can I would suggest the eGo. If you've spent much time reading around the forum or in chat you'll see most of us really do love ours. Honestly, you can't go wrong with it. Many people have bigger, more powerful devices, etc. but their eGo is their "go to" device and it's the best when you're out and about as well. Jolly did the math and I think it has either 9 or 12 times the battery life of those little ones, it's not much longer or bigger for that matter. It is a well-built device and can handle some wear n tear. I've had mine for almost 6 months now and I still love her. You'll want to make sure you have enough juice to last you, and perhaps a spare atty/carto to start off with and you'll be well on your way. You may experience a craving for a cigarette every now and again, but vape that eGo and that urge will subside much more easily than it ever has in the past when trying to quit. Oh yeah!

They are not likely your best options. You must be careful of what's in them. Depending on what the flavoring is used for it can contain any number of ingredients, most of which you do not want to vape. What I've gathered, as I'm also just embarking on the DIY Train, is that we want to stick primarily with water-soluble/water-based ingredients. Also I *think* that those flavors may not be as concentrated as some of the other flavorings used for DIY. This Guide to DIY Flavoring has a lot of useful links/resources in it. Don't overwhelm yourself. Just remember that rarely is anything as simple as it seems. I have referenced this many times already and though I don't have it logged to memory yet .. I will one day

I don't shop at Wal-Mart so I don't know what type of VG they carry but I think I recall someone telling me it may not be Food Grade Glycerin which is what you want to use. Not simply "USP grade". "Food" is the operative word when purchasing VG as there is a difference. Here is the calculator snubber was talking about: e-juice calculator. For the ticker banner .. just click it and see!

testing post ability (first time failed) weird. And I made this beautiful post with links and everything .. bah, no nrg to redo. kitsune is our in-house master mix artist. I'm sure she'll be along to share her wealth of knowledge which is more vast than mine can hope to be. good luck and let us know what works/doesn't

For fruit flavors I'd go with DIYFlavorShack.com. I like to order double flavor ($0.50 extra). Her Juicy Peach makes me salivate. That link will take you directly to her Six-Pack samplers.

Getting The Last Drops Out Of The Bottle
noXious replied to AimeeG's topic in General Vaping Discussion
lol Aimee that's the point at which I introduce the bottle to the rubbish I do try to get as much as possible though. I generally turn upside down and tilt at an angle. Whatever is left after that really doesn't care to come out and play. -
Congrats for getting yourself going! Only took you 10 min. I remember that feeling of "What do I do now? I hope I don't break it!" Happy Vaping, KaYo

California People Are Weird...

"jesus chrysler" and .. "donut run" -
Ah thanks for clearing that up. I swear I learn something new everyday (or re-learn).

Ah true. But I was under the impression that the tekkeon was only a charger. Whereas "It says I can vape at 3.7v and a 5v." leads me to believe that this can be used in conjuction with a PT??? Apparently being social + vaping is frowned upon by some
-
Oh yes I definitely misunderstood. That is a nifty little device though. Pair it with a solar charger and you'll never want for batt power.
-
Well put, Uma

How did you peel then plaster that label on? That is an attractive lil mod you have there. What's the voltage and what type of carto do you have on it? Maybe one day I'll be so inclined to ask for one (with my label of choice if that's ok with you). Very nice, Rian

Ego Usb Black Battery? Anyone Have It In Stock?
noXious replied to StOmPeR's topic in General Vaping Discussion
My batteries are performing poorly or I would've held out, too. I wanted to order the Titanium but it was sold out so I got the blue one! It's en route. I still want a black one to match my current torn/ego setup. -
New To Vaping, Strange How Opinions Change
noXious replied to rianscott's topic in General Vaping Discussion
LoL Uma .. I was laughing even as the list went on into the abyss I was no different than anyone else starting out with the exception that I actually bought starter kits in two different varieties of "real" cig. I purchased the RN4081 (super mini) and the DSE901 (mini). I convinced myself that of the two I would fall in love with one, it would do everything for me that I needed it too (even vacuum my carpets) and that I would NEVER have the urge for one of those "BIG" "electronic personal vaporizors". Yes, I thought the eGo would be much, much, much too big to suit me. I guess we novice vapers do seem kinda flaky, eh? Glad there's lots of room for growth and little for judgement when it comes to vaping. At least here @ VT. -
ROFL rianscott. They may come in handy. You never know when someone will drop in and have a 510 device, right?

Oh you can definitely still leak. But with time you'll get better at gauging when to drip and with how many drops. Drops are relevant to what type & brand of atty you're using as well as the type of liquid you are using. So while we may not be able to offer you a definite answer, we can share our experience on figuring out what works best for us. Most of tried the advice and suggestions of others, too. Without it, I'd still be soooo lost. I do remove the wicks from my atomizers, but not the bridge (or "A" as jolly refers to them). I also agree that you will experience a lot more leakage. Also, if you leave the bridge in tact you can still use cartridges if you so desire.

Oh wow Prof you really lucked out .. can I rub you? lol ok that reads kinda funny. You know how they say "luck rubs off" ..

You're in luck! I just read about this yesterday .. Fist Pack

www.buzzer-speaker.com I don't know if that will help but it's hard to find such tiny speakers .. just the speakers, anyway.

Aww I got here too late. I was going to suggest buying new attys and removing the wicks (after sparking them just once to be sure they're not DOA). When I began vaping I experienced the same thing. Vic turned me on to phee's videos. I then removed the wick from one atty and the wick and bridge from another. While I can't foresee ever having a viable reason for removing the bridge I do still always remove the wicks. Unfortunately, the removal of the wicks on my already-used-nasty-tasting attys did improve flavor, but not for long. What I discovered when I removed the wicks was that they were already charred and what I had done by removing them at that point was break/crackle them. The itsy bitsy teensy weensy bits fell down into the ceramic compartment that houses the coil and despite my best attempts I could not get them out. I still have those attys, though I don't know why because I don't use them. HOWEVER, when I remove the wick from a brand new atty and clean the primer out I am happy as a lark. If you found charred fibers when you removed your wicks the first time then chances are the wicks in your new attys are charred already as well. You may want to try removing the wick from just one brand new atty (when you next purchase) and see how that works for you. You can gently push the bridge over to help remove the wick only. Make sure you have really good lighting shining down in there and very fine tipped tweezers (I absolutely love the ones Dawn at DIY sent me) and look (REALLY GOOD) for those fine hairs to be certain you have all of them out. A couple of times I did not do this and after a few days .. .. you got it. I was tasting that taste again.
