  1. I don't actually count but I do gauge. I'm good at estimations though guess that helps. That juice feeder is sick lookin' and I haven't figured out if it's in a good way or bad way. Will be waiting to hear back from you both, Brian & asm, as I've been curious about this myself. I sooo need something for driving. As it stands I only get to vape so long as the drops or cart lasts
  2. Hello again mityfine Those links, as promised, are: VS Vapor Station's Sampler Pack I debated whether or not to even share this one but figured just in case you find it and are considering it .. The flavors are all tobacco based flavors meaning it's a grape/strawberry/etc flavored tobacco which does not taste good to me. Also their liquids contain some questionable ingredients. Caveat emptor. * DIY FlavorShack's 6Pack Samplers You can choose your flavors but you have to type them in. If you opt for double flavor (which I do) then be sure to type "double" next to the flavor(s) you want doubled. When you purchase individual bottles from their store it costs $0.50 to double the flavor and thus the $3.00 cost on a 6pack. Velvet Vapors I have not purchased from this site yet but I will probably order a sampler from them sometime. E-Cig Coupon Code Master List This is a compiled list of most e-cig suppliers discount/promo codes. That list is also outdated but many of the codes are still valid. Some suppliers aren't listed but may offer a code on their website, like the VaporTalk Store.
  3. *goes off topic* Don't we all?! I only like mine with the blue foam guarantee
  4. Has anyone suggested the eGo? I would like to suggest the eGo
  5. Your battery requires a minimum charge for the unit to work as a passthrough. You can vape it plugged in and it will continuously recharge your battery while you're using it that way. If you need to jet out of the house just pull the plug and take your charged battery with you. I received mine early last week and have used it heavily since. I am really pleased to have it.
  6. .. because cartoonish illustrations will NOT pique a child's interest. Riiiiight. Kids don't normally pay much attention to a pack of cigarettes. But now? The imagery itself may also serve to desensitize our children toward the act of self-injecting concoctions into themselves .. This seems so counter productive to me.
  7. If you have the resources to buy another kit I strongly urge you to consider the eGo. You won't be disappointed with it's performance and with most kits you get two complete setups which will have you well on your way to a satisfying vaping experience.
  8. Vaping is not burning and therefore is not smoking. That being said, smoke alarms and vapor should play very nicely together. I have vaped in hotel rooms, in the car, etc. Most of the liquids do have a light scent but it doesn't 'stain' the textiles and furnishings. I have not yet flown with my gear, but when I do you can bank on me excusing myself to the lavatory and opening up my stash of vape supplies. I've read about ppl stealth vaping under blankets on the plane by taking a draw and waiting a few seconds for the vapor to dissipate before it's exhaled. I don't know that I would do that just cause it seems so much easier to stretch my legs and have some privacy vs explaining it if I get caught. And at that point I already look guilty of something.
  9. Whether my husband is home or not I manage to keep myself busy .. somehow. VaporTalk helps, doesn't it?
  10. I received these Tues or Wed of last week and that's when I first tried the bananas foster. The cinnamon was very overpowering then. I've let it sit and haven't touched it again until just a few minutes ago so that I can more accurately describe the flavors to you. I am very pleased that I have. Wow. Delicious. The flavors are layered .. well. They are each subtle but harmonious together. It's hard, now, to taste any one flavor over the other. The cinnamon is not strong and the banana is mild but there. There has to be cream and a liquor flavor in there because I smell it but it's just perfect. Very very good. If you're not a banana fanatic but like it in just the right amount I highly suggest trying it. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
  11. haha I like that. But please remember that you often get what you pay for. Looking for the best price may not always find you a great deal. Oh and there is one other slight difference between the 650 and 900mah batteries; about 1". I'm probably stating the obvious but if you were rolling your own and smoking about 40 of those everyday you should probably look at getting high nic juice.
  12. That blew my mind and I am speechless while lost in thought.
  13. I have 650mah and 900mah batteries for mine and I use only LR attys. I have, vape and charge the same batteries that came with my kit back in June. I also still have the first LR atty that I bought and still use it, too. It may be true that you need to charge more often. I don't know because I've never used standard attys on my ego/tornado. If Riva says no, then go with the eGo. You may pay a couple dollars more, but the peace of mind in knowing you've bought the highest quality device is certainly well worth it.
  14. The waffle is delicious, too. It's a really nice balance of flavors but as a whole it's more subtle than other waffles I've tried. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. With a couple of the waffles I've tried there may have been more "taste" but the flavors weren't well balanced. I am enjoying the Toffee and Caramel Cream a lot, especially the Caramel Cream - oh boy! I also ordered the Cappuccino and have samples of the Tiramisu and Bananas Foster. I do not like cappuccino at all. The tiramisu is ok. The bananas foster is really really really really good! His has more cinnamon than I would normally like but it just works and I can't complain
  15. I'm feeling a contact high just from watching. LoL I thought he said $5 x 35 and I was wondering "what month do you live in?". He's like the Jim Carey of vaping .. it was funny.
  16. You will want to get your grandfather the "widemouth" drip tip and I've only managed to find them at Super T's. If you scroll down that page you will see them. If you have a heavy/hard draw you may not prefer the "shorty". I don't draw near as hard as a lot of people and I still prefer the slightly longer standard size as you're less likely to suck juice back in to your mouth (rarely happens). If you're wanting a drip tip for both 510 and 901 devices then you only need one as both attys are the same size at the mouth end. You would need to purchase an 801 drip tip for your 801 atty. You may see drip tips offered for 2 or 3 dollars elsewhere but you're probably going to pay about 6 dollars on shipping, too. Super T's Delrin drip tips are only $9.99 + $1.25 ships both of your tips. That widemouth is, without a doubt, worth every extra penny. Oooh I see that they've added those aluminum anodized tips at the bottom of the page. These are NOT wide mouth! Pretty? Yes. Widemouth? No. Post back and let us know how they worked out for you
  17. Contoured 510/901 Wide Mouth Delrin Super T Drip Tip. If this opening looks small to you imagine it being half that size. This is the wide-mouth, contoured, standard length drip tip. The silver you see in there is the bridge but it's quite a bit further down than it appears, probably twice as far as it seems in the picture. If you have liquid falling out of your drip tip when your device gets laid on it's side then you are dripping way too much or using a small opening where the fluid just isn't able to get in there. I do not have issues with juice leaking out of the top. I do tap my device after dripping, against my palm or on my thigh to aide the drops down the tunnel.
  18. A fun and whimsical way to identify your cartos. She has some other interesting items on her site. I probably wouldn't adorn all of my devices with them but might be fun to have something with a little "bling" for a special occasion. Christmas is coming up ..
  19. You know the more I think about this .. the more I hope that if there really is a relation between cataracts and vaping boy oh boy do I hope it comes down to a particular ingredient used in our liquid - one that we can do without. Meh, I think it's good practice to question every ingredient in our liquids. Even the ingredient/s used to process/make/distill those ingredients.
  20. Is it a mega battery? My button will stick from time to time. I try to be sure to check it before I set it down. Aside from that I don't know what to tell you.
  21. hehe schizo good question. I twist because sometimes my lips will cover those air holes on the side of threading which also get liquid in them. It ensures I'm successfully blowing all the liquid out of all holes. You have a good point about the liquid too. If you want to conserve that would be the way to go - with eye protection, of course! Isn't it crazy how we can have such a different experience with just minor tweaking and whatnot? Aimee with that primer taste is the vape at that point also very hot, dry and sort of metallic? If so, then your coil is dry. Try to learn the taste of the "last vape" just before the coil runs dry. If you're vaping lr attys you want to try not to let that happen. It will happen, sure. But I do try to let it cool then re-drip just before that point. On a side note: Just got new attys AND new juice a couple of days ago. Oh man that first night it seemed I like was flooding my attys left and right (I am alternating two devices to allow for cooling). However, last night I vaped for hours and didn't flood either of them once. This particular juice on these particular attys takes 5 drops if I've vaped it just right and that produces about a dozen really good deep draws, give or take a couple.
  22. Hi Aimee. Gurgling probably means you have a flooded atty. Flooding your atty from time to time is inevitable. I am more prone to flooding when DD vs using carts, yet prefer DD. Have you tried blowing through from the battery end? Like Schizo I have a couple of things I can't live without: My vape rags are dark brown washcloths - never confused with any others used in the home My travel box of q-tips 1. wipe the bottom of the atty 2. q-tip the inside of the battery connector well 3. check that the battery end has cooled then blow through from the battery end toward the mouth into my vape rag - slowly twist (ie: clockwise) the atty and continue to blow really hard - some say wear goggles when doing this 4. reattach to battery and vape gently to see whether or not you need to add juice; I typically do not - I picture the liquid resaturating the coil/bridge/wick (if you leave yours in tact) from the bottom up as I blow through. I can vape on that several times before needing to redrip. * note: I know it seems like a lot. This took me at least a couple of minutes, if not more, when I first started but I'm now able to do it all in mere seconds. I've found that dd'ing into a hot or very warm atty immediately warms (thins) the juice and that will almost always cause a flood. In this case it's not necessarily about over dripping. Also if you remove the cone for a while you may be able to better gauge how many drops your atomizer can handle without leaking. With the cone on you don't always know when you've leaked. If you remove it then you'll figure it out pretty quickly. Another thing to consider is how thick liquid is. VG will vape longer because it requires more heat (I think I said that right). This means that it sits in your atty longer. Sooo .. if you're vaping PG or more PG than VG, etc., then you may have to drip more often or stave off redripping as often for higher VG. Again it's easier for me to gauge this without the cone. Ok I hope I didn't overwhelm! Good luck though. I like the experience of DD'ing but it does require more .. um .. TLC
  23. I love when we can cheer for both teams .. Gooooo hookahman! You're off to a great start! You really are! Gooooo CASEACE! You can do eet! You are vapornator!
