A couple of weeks ago, right after receiving my Tornado, I was about to give up vaping. I kept asking ppl (complaining, more like it) about this unpleasant taste I was experiencing on all my devices (I bought 2 diff kits when I started - 901 & 4081). This 'taste' was why I bought my Tornado thinking with all the rave reviews maybe I went wrong with the first go-round. Well my Tornado arrived and I was still tasting that 'taste'. Again, I was about to give up. Nearly heartbroken because I was so fond of this "alternative" I logged into the video chat room one evening and Vic was there talking about how he had pulled the wick out of his atomizer. My ears perked up and I asked some questions. He pointed me to the videos and WOW what a difference it made! That burnt plastic-ky taste was gone. What was gross though was when I pulled out the wicks and saw that they were all charred to a crisp at one end...every wick from every atty was charred. How can this be more healthful to inhale??? Well thank god they're gone now! I did remove the mesh & bridge from two attys and tried it out, but I've discovered that I don't much care for mine without the mesh & bridge. I didn't have any drip tips at the time and was using empty carts = juice on lips & in mouth. Also, I was dripping by removing the carts. Well once I pulled out a new cart and totally forgot that it was loaded. Man .. it made the vape even better. And all the while I thought that "taste" was coming from the filler in the carts. I drip now, almost exclusively but I'm glad that I didn't throw away my carts .. I'm glad that I didn't pull the bridges out of all of my atomizers so I can USE those carts .. haha. Guess we all tinker until we figure out what is right for us. I did order "Heat N' Klean" and this last weekend I used it for the first time to clean all 9 atomizers and a few other things that accrue build-up. Works phenomenally! Wish I had known about the Heat N' Klean years ago *shrug*

That should be more common knowledge than LR attys.

Oh BigJim that was sooo nice of you. Haha .. I can picture them pulling up to the window and not even understanding what the cashier is telling them. Random acts of kindness are so rare anymore. Kudos!

Oh wow that was so touching. We know so many who have served and are serving. This touches really close to home. My son asked me why I was crying so I replayed it for him and it made me cry again watching him trying to sing with it. Thank you nana for sharing; very humbling.

I dunno .. bacon is in this season. I pick up a mag every now and again and recently acquired one featuring chocolate covered bacon. It doesn't make my mouth water, but who knows about the next guy, eh? I would love a strawberry guava chiffon flavor .. oh oH OH!

I am using VG @ 11mg .. I turned it upside down overnight. I think I'm going to blow some air through it, do a little dry burn and then try this caramel Rath juice I have with 0 nic. Question: I do the dry burn, but I don't let my attys burn completely dry. Should I burn it completely dry or no?

TW seems to be a good source for 510 accessories, including adapters of all sorts. Ok I tried a pen grip and the size of the opening just doesn't feel natural to me .. it's HUGE. Back to empty carts for now :-/

Yeah I did the burn thing quite a few times to help get that taste out. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong though where the LR attys are concerned. My experience so far is that the vapor gets extremely hot very fast and burns my throat making it feel raw. I also notice the juice tasting .. burnt or scorched and that is NOT pleasant. Is there perhaps primer still in there? Or do most people simply fancy that burn & scorched flavor? I've read so many positive comments on the LR attys I thought they are the way to go! I'm glad I only got one. Anyone wanna trade me?

I don't know. I tried to find that info on their site but they simply refer to it them as black atomizers. I'm going to go out on a limb though after looking at the kit description and say "yes" because they do throw in a "Titan to Tornado" charging adapter. Without the adapter the batt would not screw in, but with it everything is well & good and charging as it should

I like it! I really do! I blew the liquid out of all 3 attys as much as I possibly could (I think I turned a few shades). I sampled the high res and the low res attys with Rath Watermelon which tastes really good on the first vape, but then something about the fruit flavors once they're hot .. I dunno, I just don't like it I guess. Ima try something creamy n sweet next...hopefully I'll be able to get rid of the watermelon flavor *shrug*
