  1. Don't go back to smoking! Let these good & experienced people help you. I promise you will be glad you did.
  2. Oh wow nana .. you are one of those ppl here who seems to me so experienced. It pleases me to know my feedback has helped you, even in such a small way. <3
  3. Sexy video, truelove. Will you be releasing a full review soon?
  4. black delrin for me too. There are inexpensive drip tips out there at about $2. I ordered a couple from TW at a $1 something a piece but the openings are really small. I prefer my Super-T which was about $10 with the shipping. The mouth is wider and that makes a huge difference for me. The drip tips I ordered from TW feel great, but the opening is so small that my 2-3 drops often "pool" up inside of it. Not hard to remedy though, just gently unscrew the atty a little bit .. the airflow will usually pull it down. Not a huge factor, but I like ease-of-use so will only order wide-mouth drip tips in the future.
  5. 4 wks old and time's already flying! It's good that you're documenting these precious moments. Well done Mr. & Mrs. StormChas3r
  6. meh .. I don't see what the big deal is. I'm sure I'm not the only parent out there that's noticed the kids open the toy and look at it. They flip it over and look at the other side. ^^^^^^^^ this is how truly interested they are in happy meal toys ^^^^^^^^
  7. I clean mine very thoroughly. It gets most of it out. The rest you just kinda have to vape off. kitsune's kleenex technique helps, too. (twist the corner for about an inch and then shove it into the hole at the bottom and let sit for a while .. 15-30 min)
  8. Hockey? Sorry, word chain came to mind and I'm always down for a good brawl Please don't hate my "feisty" spirit!
  9. Oh man .. I love a tall Pepsi over ice on a hot, summer day!
  10. I know I may sound like a broken record here .. but this was what worked for me, too. Lori I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my vaping experience was not as good as everyone else's and was about to give up until someone told me about this. Gently press the bridge a little bit to the side so you have a little more room to get all the fibers out. If you shine light directly down into your atty you should be able to see any remaining wisps/fibers. Try your best to get them all out (a really good set of tweezers). You're going to notice that they are charred. Bits of the charred fibers fell down into the well where the coil sets and that tasted gross too. I thoroughly cleaned the attys and let them dry. They now vape marvelously!
  11. So um .. parents are run by their children? We occasionally eat fast food and I think it's pretty simple if you put your foot down and keep it there. If we say apples, then it's apples. If we say orange juice then it's going to be orange juice. (though we all love lemonade in this family) Sometimes I let them have the fries, after all they ARE kids and deserve to partake in life's little guilty pleasures, too. My neighbor feeds her family on McDonald's everyday. No comment.
  12. I have the same setup and finally have zero complaints
  13. My kids can sleep through fireworks .. must get that from me. I sleep dead.
  14. kitsune, I read a post you made somewhere about using that technique to help rid flavors from the atty. It does work pretty well, btw. Thanks for that
  15. Priorities in our society have changed with every generation. The hottest cell phone, Lady GaGa, Farmville, and the list goes on. Everyone's out swiping these days, myself included. The difference is that I know how much is in my accounts and my credit limits and thus do not engage in "sprees". Our children are growing up thinking that money is free .. swipe and voila! you have what you want in an instant! Car & Home? Fill out some paperwork and voila! it's yours. What I'm saying isn't directly relevant, but what I'm getting at is this... Few have actual knowledge of finance, much less micro-, macro- and global economics. No one Not enough people are educated and aware of their own finances to even care. hehe, they "can't afford to give a damn". With that being said, we must start somewhere. It's our duty, as parents, to teach our children that though we swipe, that money has to come from somewhere and is never free. This should begin very early on. My 3 yo son watches me from his carseat as I swipe for gas. We must sit with them, before they head off to college, and are bombarded with credit offers, and show them our bills, our accounts, our bank statements. It's pertinent that they know what those contracts (car & home) really say and that by simply signing their name could cost them more in the end. Buying a home for $500k and paying an extensive fee to the agent who handles it for you. Amortize for 30 yrs (20 if you can) and pay multiple times more than the principal (which is the $500k) over that 30 yr period (can you say 'second mortgage'?). In that contract you could end up paying for everything if you don't know what you're doing. Fiduciary duty has loopholes too; and as always...greed will exploit them. We need to equip them with as much "in hand" or "hands on" experience as we can so that there is a clear understanding of their responsibility. In this day financial freedom is a myth for most because they have not earned it (via accountability). My 23 yr old cousin just told me that he is going to file bankruptcy so that his parents can transfer the family's vehicles into his name and then turn around and file bankruptcy themselves (for the 2nd time). Don't worry though! (he says) They're building up my other cousin's credit (since he's 18 now) so that they can buy a house in his name. They all drive nice cars, have the latest fashions and the best cellphones every few months. They still live in a sprawling 5br home with over 3k of living space. There are only 3 of them living in the home. I take that back, my grandmother recently relocated and now lives there too. Who pays for all that money they owe when they all successfully file bankruptcy, circumventing the repossession of those large money items that they will continue to use and have not paid for? We have very little debt. None if you compare us to most Americans. It isn't easy, but it's a whole helluva lot better than the alternative. **** .. I want nice things too but I can't have them all at once (we actually save and/or buy things one at a time so that we can have quality things) because I'm responsible and not a leech. It sometimes doesn't seem fair, but it's my principles that will be compromised if I side with the Jones'. Haysus Kreesto...what is this world coming to. Ok sorry if I went on a sorta-off-topic rampage. It's just that while this makes sense to us .. it doesn't to very many. They're too self absorbed to fathom what lie beyond their impulsive desires. On a side note, I think I want to take a few courses to better understand MY MONEY. I know how to stay out of debt, for the most part. I want to learn how to save more and invest wisely. Gold, huh?
  16. I don't think it's a good idea to boil them. Rather, I add maybe an 1/8th of a teaspoon of Heat N' Klean to about a cup of boiling hot water and let them set until the water is room temperature. Rinse repeatedly. Blow through both ends as much as possible and then dry burn the rest of the moisture out. I'm currently cleaning the primer out of 2 new LR attys (after testing to see if they work and then removing the wicks, of course). No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get that nasty primer taste out. I think I have very sensitive taste buds or something. At any rate, the last atty I cleaned like this is my first LR atty and that was about 3 weeks ago. It is still vaping beautifully and all I do is turn it upside down overnight and then occasionally blow through the battery end when it's making that "gurgling" sound (flooded). I think I've found what works for me
  17. Have you tried any RY4 that you could compare it to? I've heard they are similar .. ??
  18. Rob do you detect any tartness in that pomegranate, too?
  19. Make "somewhere to go". hambs & hot doggies .. music & beer. Sounds like a great place to be for me! And btw, it's Africa hot here .. ugh!
  20. To those of you who have trouble tasting flavors: I also felt this way until I removed the wicks from my atomizers. Since then my experience with vaping is the difference between night & day .. this includes flavors. Have you folks tried this with any of your attys? Perhaps try it with just one and see if it makes much of a difference. Keep in mind that the wicks in your less-than-new attys may already be burnt and thus may require more effort to get all of the wick out (and then a good cleaning with water or whatever method you use except dry burn but only in this case). Here's a video how-to for removing your wicks. P.S. If you watch the next video (How to remove your bridge) please tread cautiously and only try this on one atty first. I don't prefer the bridge to be removed. However, some do.
  21. I've read about these cleaning cycles. I believe they're only built into the automatic batteries.
  22. Hi Lily .. have you thought about maybe using a cosmetic train? I haven't purchased one yet for the sole purpose of organizing my PV accessories but I am about to .. Welcome aboard
  23. darn you jeff .. I was trying to escape unnoticed! I'm not sure what it is so I was at a loss. I guess "Jeff .. what is that on your arm?" might work..maybe? I also really like O's tats .. the one was very elegant and so pretty and this one she has posted is a darling with beautiful coloring! I still don't seem to be able to upload so .. trickery will work almost every time
  24. Oh wow .. I was wondering if Ouster had made this thread. I was going to pitch in. Guess now I'll sit and wait it out. I hope for the sake of human decency that this guy isn't full of ****. My husband has been deployed twice. Both times on a base with an APO. Not exactly sure how it works, but I'm thinking if it's a base with all the necessities meaning goods coming in and out I would think there to be an APO. Regardless of how this turns out I want you all to know that you've succeeded in showing myself and each of us how truly good natured people can be. For me, it really touches the heart and proves that we haven't all sold our souls. Thank you for reinforcing our faith in humanity. Give yourselves kudos...no more talk of feeling foolish!
  25. I have two total... The one pictured is incomplete. I actually had that one done with a 3rd degree sunburn that I incurred the day before and because I didn't go to the Dr. I didn't realize how badly I was burned. Time was of the essence though because my friend who was doing the work was to be moving very soon. After the initial sitting, I was too badly burned to complete the work and he was across the country several weeks later when I had finally healed. If/when I ever go back to have the color added (and the lines redefined) it will be complete only when my nape is pierced with a circular bb. The second I'm not too embarrassed to admit would probably get me banned from the site if I posted a picture of it, but it does exist and is a sentry black widow. Dave I love that hand-print of your grandson's. Add to that the history and the fact that you've done this type of thing all over town makes for a neat story to accompany it. Kitsune your daughter is a beautiful illustrator! I read the story behind that piece in another thread I believe somewhere else on the forum .. just beautiful! Stirfry I think you've set yourself up for trouble naming your daughter Danger .. definite cool factor, though. You have some nice work. Sinikal should bust out the cam .. would love to see that sleeve. P.S. when I try to upload I get: "The server returned an error during upload" not sure why. I have tried it in ff & chrome. When I select "Try switching to our basic uploader" it takes me to my profile's General Settings page where "Enable flash uploader?" is checked. Guess I'll try again later.
