  1. That'd be cool! If for nothing else than novelty sake!
  2. When boiling, the bad stuff get evaporated out of the water. It would be no different if you lived in a town that has a water main breach and they put out a "Boil Order" announcement thru the local news. Boiling is another way to sterilize water and whatever you put in it. I'd buy organic cotton and NOT boil if I could find it near where I live.
  3. Looks like an ego beauty ring/cone. Just to cover the threads
  4. Anyone know if there are universal style silver or silver plated contact pins? And if so, where can I get them? Just curious. Thanks
  5. How did you attach the tip to the base? Is it just sitting on there? Just curious. Like Medic said, that looks pretty cool!
  6. Welcome to Vapor Talk!!! We're glad to have you here! Sorry for your loss! There's a TON of info here and LOTS of experienced people here who can help you along in this life of vaping! Welcome Aboard!
  7. Yeah, my ex-wife does that and its irritating! If there is a shoulder big enough for a car to be on just before the right turn, I beg people to use it to make their right hand turn from.
  8. Something I see out in Texas a lot is some people that are going to pass us on the left will flash their brights just before they do. Not neccesary. That just blinds us. If you're going to pass a big truck, try to always do it on the left and do it quickly. This is for your safety.
  9. Another tip, most rigs that are making a right hand turn are gonna need to take up two lanes to do it. Never try to sneek around a truck on the right hand side if you see the right turn signal blinking. There's approx 60ft of blind spot in our right hand mirrors. Also, if you are behind us and traveling so close to us that you can't see our driverside mirror up there...we can't see you.
  10. Thanks Tam for thinking us! First off, please understand that there are and always will be "bad apples" out there driving a big rig. Most truckers these days are mass produced out of some kind of trucking school. These schools csn last anywhere from a few days up to 20 weeks. Many of them are CDL (commercial drivers license) factories. Just churning out guys to fill a vacancy in some companies. With that said, Most CDL drivers are safety minded and try to be as conciensious (spl?) as possible. You're correct about the passing a big truck. It takes a lot of room for us to get stopped. Please, if you're intention is to be curteous and use your headlights to communicate a willingness to let us scoot over in front of you, don't flash your high beams. If your vehicle has daytime running lights, it may not be possible to cut your lights "off" momentarily to lets us know. If this is the case, maybe reduce speed just a little and we'll notice it.
  11. The learning curve keeps getting higher. I'm really good at tinkering, figuring things out, and researching stuff, but explaining anything thats not driving related twists my brain. Lol!
  12. Thanks for clearing that up Tam. I had it right in my head, just couldn't seem to get it worded right when typing. Lol!
  13. I thank you for that, but it's not a big deal for me. Lol! I've been with my current company for 7 years now and have have learned to deal with. Besides, I'm a "driver trainer", and have learned that when you're driving or training someone to drive a 65ft long truck and trailer weighing up to 80,000 lbs, it's best to play it safe and go slow. Basic rule of thumb in trucking, "If they want it bad today, then they'll want it worse tomorrow"! As long as the loads get where the need to be safely, thats all I care about.
  14. Ok, dripping is the act of either dripping your juice directly into your cartomizer, or dripping juice onto your coils/wick assemblies on an RDA(rebuildable dripping attomizer) or RBA(rebuildable atomizer. Medic, please correct me if I'm wrong. As far as other components for your Spire VV mod, a good choice would be the Anyvape Davide (standard or mini), Kanger Protank 2 or 3 (again, standard or mini. If you're new to vaping, I wouldn't get too worked up about "dripping" just yet. Start out with a decent tank setup then work your way from there. You'll want to get plenty of advice from the more experienced folks here and do some research on "dripping" before venturing into it. Hope that helps! Happy Vaping!
  15. It depends on the juice. I rebuilt all my kpt2 coils to 1.4-1.8 ohms about 3 weeks ago and I still haven't had to change any of the three I'm using out. When they were "stock", they lasted for about a week or two. Most of my juices I use in my tanks are clearer and/or thinner(ie. higher PG). Just my 2 cents.
  16. Sorry Comp. I put that one up 'cause I already had it bookmarked. Thanks for the link. I'll update my bookmarks! Lol
  17. Get your pluid here: http://www.vapingwatch.com/mad-murdock-en/pluid-30-ml-10mg.html?limit=100
  18. You can do rebuildables on your VTR, but you may not be able to go lower than 0.8 ohms. 0.8 is the lowest I've seen the VTR go. But, you can build coils for your rebuildables that aren't sub-ohm too! It's fun! Hone your coil building skills above the 1.2 threshold till you get consistent. Then... Hello Dark Side! Happy Vaping!
