A good reason to choose IMR over Li-ion batteries. IMR will vent and the chance of exploding is slim if your mod has proper venting in place.

A good solution is to using the locking ring/mechanism when the mod is not being used. Greatly reduces the chance of auto fire.

My Bonny looked into the gas tank
The height of its content to see.....
I lit up a match to assist her,
Oh bring back my Bonny to me.
My new Bonny now checks the gas tank
Without fear of ceasing to be....
For I no longer have use for matches,
Cuz vaping not smoking's for me.
My new Bonny's tuberculosis
Has caused her to have but one lung...
But she too changed smoking for vaping,
Her cigs in the trash she has flung.
My new Bonny now can breathe better
Her coughing a thing of the past.....
And we all know that vaping is safer,
My Bonny has a future at last.

You're so right spare. How could it not be a good thing, right? It appeals to a lot of different kinds of folks for sure.

Sean from Glas Vapors sent out holiday/appreciation gifts to the folks that have purchased a mech-mod from him. It's very kind of him to do that.
The packaging is top notch with magnetic flaps and a wax seal on the bottle
100ml Pound Cake 6mg.
Happy Holidays

sparc reacted to Tam in Awaiting Reaction
Childproof caps can slow down a child (depending on age), but it's not the magic bullet to making a bottle of e-liquid 100% safe for children. Parents need to be aware of safety issues and keep it in a safe place. Keeping an eye on their child would also be helpful.
People who leave things like e-liquid in places where their kids can get to it need to be better educated on what's inside e-liquid and what it can do. All too often the vaping industry is going to be blamed before it gets better. If ever. *sighs*

sparc got a reaction from Heldar in Think I've found my sweet spot.
Heldar - I find dripping bothersome too but I like the flavor and vapor from it. I'm planning to get The Big Dripper which is a RDA but it holds like 5ml of liquid and you push down on the drip tip to juice up your coil. It's a dripper and tank atty in one.
check out a review of it

sparc got a reaction from Mtdobies in Kayfun leakage question
Try putting an o-ring in to fill the void(empty space) between the trip tip base and the drip tip well. It will help in reducing the liquid build up. If your drip tip base is long enough to sit flush with the well you shouldn't be getting this issue as mentioned in above post

sparc got a reaction from Love2VapeDaily in Cotton is the BOMB! Got my "snap, crackle, and Pop" back.
I've been using japanese cotton and cellucotton and not really able to tell the difference between wicking and flavor.

sparc got a reaction from Mtdobies in First build!
Build lower around 1-1.5ohms then. And check to see if air hole is lined up with the coil. Also make sure that the wick/coil isn't over saturated as that reduces initial vapor production. Fresh batteries too

at 2.3ohms you will need to take a long draw to produce decent vapor cloud. Try building it around 1.5-1.8 ohms for more vapor production

Yeah he designed a clean mod
This is his pricing, it's not dependent on material used but on size. Reasonable to me for an authentic. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll shoot you the link to the forum thread. He is sold out of the 18650 size but he said he will make another batch
- 18350: $128
- 18490: $133

sparc reacted to SteezeOG in Rayon Cellucotton Wicks
That was an awesome review video. Thanks for posting. I eventually would have seen it I subscribe to his channel but had no idea it was posted or he was working on that comparison. I'm not surprised at all with his results it's pretty much exactly what I've found for myself using those three. Never tried the hemp wicks but I wouldn't pay that much and I figured they would give a slightly woody pulp taste anyway like he found. One thing that he touched on that I completely forgot about with the rayon cellucotton is how easy is it to change juice using the same wick. It does burn out cleaner and more thoroughly than any of the others. Regular organic really seems to just pool the juice and not wick as well and hold that flavor in between changes. The one thing he didn't factor in at the end that I thought he would is price. I wouldn't say the japanese cotton squares are really expensive but when you compare getting 500 ft of rayon for half the cost of one box of japanese cotton squares it might be a factor for some.
Was really interesting how much better the japanese and rayon wicked. I had noticed it with the parallel fibers but to see them side by side and how much better they do compared to the tangled mess that sometimes you get in regular organic cotton balls it really shows how much easier it works. I'm already using the japanese squares about 75% of the time but I think I'll go back to the rayon cellucotton a little more and see if I really do enjoy it as much. I know I like it for kayfuns and russians which is what he was using. For those rebuildable tanks to me it's overall better than everything else. It takes much less material to do a better job and I can get max VG juice to wick like a 50/50 juice does with regular cotton which is a big difference in performance.
