  1. That article was a great post. The benifits of nicotine are whyeI returned to nicotine after 12 years of abstinence. I was miserable, to the point of not WANTING the extra years not smoking would give me. I'm a happy vaper now.
  2. Oooh, I have an idea! I bet a kids sized bow hair elastic will fit over my ego and snug in to the groove by the button! I'm going to try it.
  3. Yeah... I'm... I'd wear a freaking cutesy pink ball gown if it were socially more accepted, cheaper, and less impractical. My body may be 30, but I swear I'm part 6 year old who wants to be a princess. lol
  4. http://www.vaperoyalty.com/3d-bling-bow-khrome-vape-kit-1100mah/ I wish I could just get the cute part to add to my existing pv
  5. I have a pile of cartridges from V2 Cigs. Not wanting them to go to waste, I got an adapter to put them on my eGo. Works great (vapes like crap compared to my CE4s, but they get the job done. Still works better than they did when my V2 battery worked). However, it looks so stupid, and I cant use my lanyard with it. Will this solve my trouble? http://www.myvaporstore.com/eGo_Cone_Shape_Cover_p/ego-cov.htm
  6. That one about addiction.... My cigarette based "nic fits" were atrocious. My vaping "nic fits".... Unpleasant, but not the sheer torture of my cigarette withdrawls. Its obvious to me there is something ELSE in cigarette that is either also addictive and to a much higher degree, or something that enhances the addictive properties of nicotine.
  7. *whining* I WANNA GO TO A VAPOR BAR!! For my PERSONAL PV, I have to agree with the guy going on about there being no nicotine. LOL
  8. Maybe I'm a FREAKIN GENIUS or something... My first exposure to a vape, I noticed it didn't smell like smoke, it didn't stay in the air like smoke, and she didn't light it. "Is it burning tobacco in there?" "Nope, it's vapor" "Ah, cool." I also can't grasp how sucking on what looks like a giant pink pen "looks like smoking". If people want to make assumptions like that, ban root beer for anyone under 21. It looks like drinking booze when it comes in glass! Ban chewing gum, it looks like dipping! Maybe I just pay attention more to what I see instead of just ignoring absolutely anything beyond a first glimpse in my parifreal (sp?) vision. Of course, I'm talking about the same general population that contains the geniuses that nearly let me pass out from a blood sugar crash because it looked like I was drunk, despite having not left their sight in 6 hours. The government looks like greed and corruption... Oh, wait.
  9. Why is everything in the news saying "electronic smoking devices"? Doesn't it have to produce smoke to be a smoking device? Camel orbs aren't "disolvable smoking devices", and Skoal isn't a "chewable smoke". So why is my thing that produces no smoke a "smoking device"? MAYBE it'll smoke if I charge it really really wrongly. It seems as stupid as calling my car a "terestrial flying device", or a plane an "arial driving device". I better finish this post and get off of my electronic carrier pigeon, and get some stuff done.
  10. I whine pretty loud. I suspect I could out whine him. Especially if I've been at a pub drinking.
  11. You mentioned seperating "tobacco smoking" from."nicotine use". At a job interview recently, I was asked if I'd pass a drug test. I said I only use caffeine and nicotine. She assumed I smoke. Nope, I dont even carry a lighter. No burning, no smoke, I'm not a smoker. I'm a vaper.
  12. I've got the lanyard for my ego. Is there a cap I can get to keep my drip tip clean? It bumps on stuff, and one of these days it will hit the underside of a fast food table. Gross.
  13. Batteries of any type should be charged when storing, be them vapes, phones, cars, deep cycle, etc. MOST batteries really benefit from being stored charged, and those that don't won't be harmed by it.
  14. I'd leave the pub. I'm not going to be out in the cold cause some one else is jealous my activities dont hurt other people.
  15. Oh it totally would. My roof leaks if I measure rain in inches, but if I just go by chance of precipitation in %, no leaks! Try it!
  16. Judging by some posts... I could be doing better on juice prices. Here in Ct, they tax the crap out of everything! Ive seen cigarettes just coins away from $10 a pack. Someone said they got there's at $2?! Wow! I do know that when I smoked, I was spending enough to buy a new high end laptop and replace my phone every 2 years. I wasn't even a heavy smoker!
  17. What drip tips does it take? I use my label maker for flavors.
  18. The Davide looks to be the same diameter as my CE4! (I dont like ones that would turn my "wand" in tk a top heavy looking "ceptor". lol) It's a bottom coil... is the vape still warm with a bottom coil? I wish it came in pink.
  19. What is your technique when you vape? Me... When I'm trying to calm down, I prefer a nice, looooong drag, but I only press the button for about half of my long drag. (Precisely why I dont like automatic batteries). If I'm busy, I go for a short drag with a deep inhale. Funny, that's nothing like how I used to smoke.
  20. That solves it for the immediate time, but it just does it again later for no apparent reason. Is it possible the wicks are too thin, letting juice leak in to the middle? Or maybe too wicky, wicking in too much? That cant be, cause I always get a dry hit when chain vaping. That's usually when I put it down for a minute or two to let it cool down and soak up more juice. I have a stressful life, I vape like a damn fiend. I swear, if I had gone back to smokes instead of vapes, I'd be going through a pack in an hour. (oh, but those horrid e-cigs need to be banned! Clearly I'd be better off smoking. Grrrr)
  21. A pack of cigarettes is, what, like $8 now? How many "cigarettes" is $8 worth of e-juice? A rough estimate, obviously it would vary depending on how a person smoked and how they vape.
