  1. I seem to go through e-goo faster than I'd be happy with. How much is average? I'm glad I went big on the batteries.
  2. "FDA approved" carries as little weight with me as "Approved by Charlie the Unicorn"
  3. Wait wait wait.... So acrylamide MAY pose a health risk, and is ok, but my vape that MAY cause a health risk needs to be banned or regulated? I honestly believe the government wants us all sick. I have believed that for a long time. If we are all sick, we would be more compliant just from having all the fight drained from us.
  4. Thank you, Mark. I have ideas, the experimenter in me is already thinking up what I can do. The most simple being that I want to build a charger in to my Hello Kitty lamp that sits by my bed. I'd always have a charger at home, and it would be cute if she was holding my battery for me. (I've got a headmate who's good at figuring out current and charge rates. I'm sure she'll help, we worked together on a lot of the modified things in our house) I have another, more fun idea, but I don't want to mention it until I get a chance to make it. Ideas that I'd be willing to make for others if I get them to work.
  5. Some of you are building atties and stuff... where do you get the parts to make them? I'm most interested in the screw threading and connectors. Most anything I own that has a battery gets modified in some way, that's just how I am. I wan't to be able to make something that can screw on to the battery, and then the carto to it. I have no idea what I would do with it yet, but I want the option so I can.
  6. I'm curious what will happen. I think the entirety of the vape community should stand up together against over regulation.
  7. Yes, a joytech charger. I don't have it handy at the moment, but I believe it was 420ma
  8. Soda bottle. It's a regional language difference A soda bottle.
  9. This one is an actual eGo C Twist. The guy at the shop said he'd take cAre of me if issues persist.
  10. I must have the CE5. Still want the pictures?
  11. I mentioned somewhere around here than I am multiple. ("Multiple Personalities", but the alternative view point - we aren't just personalities nor are we broken) In my system, Pastel makes the rules, and Rebecca handles our money. Both of them told me today that if I'm going to vape, I have to forfeit my french fry and potato chip habit to pay for the e-juice. (Seems fair, none of the others vape) LoL, looks like I will be loosing some weight. Anybody know where to get french fry flavored e-juice? LOL!
  12. I went to my battery that has been on the charger all night, but lit green. I took it off, unlocked it, it lit up (was too dead to when I put it on), and had an idea. I disconnected the charger from the usb, usb adapter from the wall, and put it all back together with the battery button not locked out. Now it's red. I swear, I tried so many times last night taking the battery off the charger, disconnecting and reconnecting the USB, trying the connections in a different order, trying different USB wall plugs.... nothing worked. Does the battery need to be unlocked to charge? I'm glad I have 2 big batteries, I have to wait that whole charge cycle again. I can use any 510 threaded USb charger, right? I want a couple spares and one to leave at home. Any that charge faster?
  13. I also may have my terminology wrong. You can take it completely apart, take out the wicks and the atomizer, and each piece was available at the shop where I bought the PV. I also have one that I paid too much for that does not come apart at all, other than the tip to put e-goo in it. I was impatient, wanted another clearomizer for chocolate, ended up having to wait for the chocolate goo anyway.
  14. Yeah. I'll let one run empty and pop it apart for you. Patience though, I don't go through a whole one in a day.
  15. bcaort, it's definitely rebuildable, that much I'm sure of.
  16. I only own two. One is charged still.
  17. I was surfing around the web (hey, that's what it's there for, right?) and read a few threads at different forums about people mentioning they never smoked regular cigarettes but picked up vaping. Most of those threads had people going on about how "lame" or "stupid" it would be for somebody to pick up a vape if they never had a nicotine habit. It bothered me enough to put this out there... A long time ago, I was a teenager who had never smoked a cigarette a day in my life. I picked up a cigarette having never had one before, and having 0 nicotine addiction at the time, no "need" for a nicotine fix. As far as I'm aware, all smokers and former smokers were at one point never smokers. It seems hypocritical to rag on somebody for picking up a nic habit. Were you addicted after your first cigarette? I wasn't. I went days without after my first cigarette. I went back for my 2nd and 3rd cigarettes for the same reason I vape now.... nicotine is enjoyable. Do I think kids should be vaping? Hell no. I don't think they should smoke or drink either. In fact, I'm not a big fan of kids using caffeine. They don't understand the risks of using caffeine. (I used to flat out abuse caffeine. I have kidney issues to show for it. It's a drug, and it can hurt you). Do I think a 20 year old never smoker should pick up a vape with nicotine in it? I think that's his or her choice to make and being somebody who picked up nicotine when I was a never-smoker, and AGAIN 12 years after I broke that addiction, I'm in no place to judge. ...and of course, there's the fact that somebody who's first "smoke" is water vapor with some flavor and nicotine in it is still another person who won't be coughing up a cancerous lung later on. Maybe being so harsh on vapers who are never smokers isn't such a fantastic idea. I wonder how many who got flak for considering it went and bought a pack of Marbs instead.
  18. ...and all I did was ask about threading and compatibility
  19. When I screw in a dead battery, isn't the light supposed to change to red? It stays green. Is it broken? eGo C Twist with original charger. It's the first time charging it.
  20. So, my tank ran empty, and I decided to fully disassemble it to get an idea of how to replace parts. The part with the coil and wicks unscrews as one piece. Does that come further apart, or is that the piece that gets replaced when it starts tasting like burn dog? (The V2 I used before tasted like burnt dog when it was time to toss the cart, I assume this one would too. No dogs were harmed in the usage of this metaphor) The rubber part that covers the coils comes off as well, but it doesn't look like there is a way to get it any further apart. I also learned that "empty" really means "You're not going to get anymore vape out of it, but there is plenty left to make an enormous f-ing mess all over your desk, hands, vape case, and clothes. Ahh newbiehood
  21. If I ran a vape shop, I'd offer little labels for anyone who runs 1 flavor per tank - and I'd put it on for you if bought together. I think that'd be a nice touch.
  22. I hate this statement. What about a toddler drinking my bleach, my 409, eating my bottle of prescription medication, the fatally poisonous chemicals I use with my electronics, eating my batteries, The list goes on! What about caffeine? I've ODed on caffeine! (I didn't know you could, at the time. What a trip, don't ever do it) What about alcohol? You can OD on that too. The world is full of things that if used, abused, or carelessly let fall in to the hands of small children, will cause death. I have no children, so I don't do much to "child proof" anything. (Actually, given my love of experimenting with electricity, my home would be a child's death trap. Shock hazards, chocking hazards, poisoning hazards... don't bring your kids here) If I did have kids, e-liquids would be secured with my alcohol. The FDA loves to "over protect" and ruin good things.
  23. Great video. Short and to the point. "The ideal option would be to not smoke or vape..." That depends on the person. Likewise, I'm sure I'd be "healthier" not consuming caffeine and not eating some of the junk food I eat, but I wouldn't be happier. For me, if the boost in my enjoyment of life far exceeds the risk to my health, I'll take that risk. Being multiple, I also discuss those risks with my headmates.
  24. At random... thinking of pouring out and instead of making it rain, make it fog!
  25. I didn't smoke menthols, but like the menthol juice Didnt mean to repeat, lost track of what I was replying to I didn't mean to repeat, lost track of what I was replying to.
