  1. My honeysuckle gets an ever so slight yellow tint to it. I have no idea if it'd ever become yellower, it doesn't stay in there long enough.
  2. I still wonder about my addiction. As I've mentioned, I quit for 12 years. You would think that was long enough to never want one, but not one day went by that I didn't still want a cigarette. I pacified that "need" by gnawing on EVERYTHING - pens, bottle caps, straws, even one of my USB drives was destroyed in a moment of stressed induced mindless gnawing. I smoked herbal cigarettes that had 0 tobacco in them, but I'd end up chain smoking the pack and still wanted a Camel. Friends smoked and I felt like a kid helplessly pawing at the window of a candy store. I guess 12 years didn't fully kill it. Oddly enough, none of my headmates ever smoked, it was just me when I was front. I guess I have an addictive personality because I'm also helplessly addicted to caffeine. I had to give up caffeine for a week for testing on our inner ears, and I was actually in tears wishing for death by day 3. Friends had to keep tabs on me to make sure I didn't have a cup of coffee. Wow, that's actually kind of sad. What is wrong with me?!
  3. Well, I TRIED to get a Joyetech! LOL
  4. I figured it would be nice to start a thread about the little pleasures.... (Some silliness ahead. I love being silly) One thing that really brought my mood up back as a smoker was that fresh pack. I loved the sound taking the cellophane off, packing it, and pulling out that foil. ...so is that gone for me? No... Now... It's the zipper on my vape case, the sound and feel of connecting my clearomizer to my battery, and the 5 clicks to fire it up - I just know some joy is a moment away when I hear those sounds. My favorite is definitely the sound of connecting the clearomizer. It reminds me ever so slightly of when people assemble weapons in movies. I guess it is, in a way, a weapon - and I use it to blast away that naggy "I miss cigarettes" thought in my head. Wanting a cig? .... (in my best "mobster" impression) Say hello to my little friend!
  5. I just received my Top Vape Chocolate Malt, and it's.... COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTING! Mmmm.... chocolateISH with a hint of something that isn't right. The disposable clearomizer I stuck it in is also a complete disappointment. It's a wickless that only works on one of two supposedly identical batteries - although if I fiddle with it, I can kinda make it kinda work. Bah! What a waste.
  6. Bingo. If a never smoker wants nic or no nic, that is their choice with their body and their money. I like nicotine and plan to use it forever. If new info comes up, I may change that choice. Someone who never smoked is free to make the same choice.
  7. Unfortunately, I see this "anything goes" market of clones and knock offs as MAJOR ammunition for regulating these in to oblivion. If you regulate them enough to protect people who make the real mccoys, its a stone's throw to making sure I'm "safe" from "off brand" e-juice. I don't understand why knock offs dont just make their own damn brand. Why try to make me think it's an eGo. Just make me a pink variable battery with 510 threads and call it something else. Trust me, if it's cheaper, I will notice it has the same features as an Joyetech eGo.
  8. The guy actually told me there is no one manufacturer for eGo Twist. I was like ummm.... yeah, Joyetech. If it's a clone, sell it to me as a clone. Don't jerk me around. Maybe I should hand him monopoly money... "Oh, well, whatever I get I use. There no one manufacturer for 'dollars'."
  9. What do I need to adjust to get a little more throat hit?
  10. So, how do I know what resistance I want when it comes time to replace the atomizer? It's futile, isn't it.
  11. Funny, e-goo sounds like unexplained things that make my smartphone and computer do their magic.
  12. It's gooey, I'm part kid at heart, so itws e-goo to me
  13. Oddly enough, the coffee cartridges for the V2 tasted good. They taste like coffee flavored candy. I think it's available as an e-juice. I don't want it, I dont like to mix the tastes of my vices like that.
  14. I've got health issues that require supplies. I wouldnt make it long enough to worry about juices. But in my case, that holds 3 (deal with it), Sweet Menthol and Honeysuckle by CT Vapes (even if they sold me a knock off as real), and a chocolate that I haven't found yet. Of course, I don't know about you, but I'm sacrificing an atty to make fire and signaling a helicopter to take me home.
  15. Comp, I can hardly make kool-aide, I cant imagine making e-juice. lol
  16. If the guy had said it was a knock off, and that it was still I good vape, I'd be fine with that. Knock offs are cheaper. It's that I'm not told, and I can't get it to charge without the battery dance that is making me angry. Once charged, it works great! It just is a horrible pain to get charged. It should be just plug it in till the light goes green, but it never works out that way. I e-mailed the guy I bought it from, waiting on a reply. I was nice about it, he may not know.
  17. Well, except that it's a ***** and a half to get the charger to work!
  18. Aww... I just learned how to tell a genuine eGo C Twist from a knock off. Mine is a knock off. I am sad now. Oh well, it still works great, and when it's time for new batteries, I know what to look for now. Part of being a newbie.
  19. I'm a computer tech, so almost all my gadgets are USB charged. I was thrilled to find out PVs use USB to charge. Not a cars cut the power port when the car is off. My car has been modified to leave the port on with the car off. At a recent camping even that didn't have power on site, I used my car to charge people's e-cigs without any issues. For those of you afraid to charge anywhere but an ac outlet... USB is a standard. Anything following this standard will output at 5 volt. Amperage can range from 500ma to 2amp. A charger with more amperage than you need is fine, but a charger with too low an output amperage will be overloaded. Rule of thumb, I never use USB chargers below 1amp for anything.
  20. Standard USB is 5 volt, including your eGo wall adapter. However, the eGo USB cable is 500ma. You can safely use the 2.1 amp port, but it will still only be drawing 500ma. Use the lower current port for your battery, and the amp for your phone. Unless it's a pass through. You will want the higher current for a pass through. Word of warning... there are really cheapy USB car chargers out there. Your phone, assuming it's recent, will safely reject an out of spec USB charger (iPhone, for example, will give you a huge obvious error). Your e-cig battery, on the other hand, isnt quite as advanced. If it charges your phone by USB cable without it giving you an error, it should safely charge your vape battery.
  21. LoL, I was just thinking I want walnut e-juice just cause.
  22. Is it usb? High current USB, the 2.1, is for bid gadgets like the Galaxy Tablet, iPad, and bigger cellphones like the Note 2.
  23. This the idea for my lamp PV charger. Right now, it looks like Kitty is pulling the lamp chain. I'm going to remove the chain and build a connector where I have by battery sitting in this picture, so it looks like she is holding my battery. I'm a huge Hello Kitty fan, and would really love having this lamp serve a second function. My pink battery goes well with the Hello Kitty theme.
