  1. I'm noticing vapor mist is getting in to the tank on my clearomizer when it's low. Is this anything to worry about?
  2. I'm not worried about it. ****mittens works in fast food, at least my vape is heated upon use. A cold is also nicer than lung cancer.
  3. I figured they were propaganda. But, some did happen, and wanted to know what to look for. Some of the videos on YouTube were from vapers in thier own homes, so I know they do happen. Just like the smartphone "explosions" a while back, media turned a popped battery in to an IED. I've had batteries pop in things (not my PV.). Both were computers, one hgih end battery and one mid grade (not mixed in the same device). The mid grade I chalked up to rodent damage, but I never figured out why the high end battery went ape ****. (It was a huge battery. Thank Goddess Julie glanced at the desk clock on the way out the door and noticed the battery error light blinking critical. It was moments from rupture and no one would have been home).
  4. I was watching YouTube videos about exploding vape batteries and I noticed that they APPEAR to all look the same, possibly the same manufacturer. Does anybody know anything about which ones seem to be going runaway (exploding)? I'm not worried about mine, although just to be extra cautious, I did move the charger away from my pricey computer. The reason I want to know is my car is used to charge these things for people twice a year at a camping event (My car is modified and packs plenty of on board power to run or charge just about anything 12 volts or less). It'd be nice if I could spot the ones more prone to exploding and save myself a melted car. I know an explosion is caused by a lack of a vent, regardless if the battery is an e-cig, cellphone, laptop, or other electronic thingamabob. Is there any easy way to spot this on an vape? Seeing as how I dont know what cheap crap people buy and ask me to charge, I think I'm going to build a metal box to put them in.
  5. I'm have laying with my vape because for some reason, I decided to eat like a damn pig tonight and can hardly move. In fact, that's why I have my chocolate - the flavor I actually want is clear across the house and it can damn well stay there right now. LOL
  6. I want to try a bunch of flavors. However, I don't want them mixing or dealing with having to clean clearomizers. My idea is to put an atomizer on, direct drip from the bottle, and flavors I like will be put in to my collection of labeled clearomizers. (I keep one per flavor, or for things like mint or tobacco, very similar flavor) My understanding is I can rinse the direct drip atomizer, dry it, and drip another flavor with little hassle. If I dislike a flavor, I'm only out whatever I paid to get the juice, either a few drops from a friend, or a tiny sample bottle. Is there anything about all that which I've gotten wrong?
  7. Yeah. I like to relax and vape, just like I'd smoke with an ashtray on my chest. Yay no more burned boobs!
  8. I hate big pharma! They, and the docs who love them, are responsible for the death of one of my headmates!
  9. Top coil. No idea the brand. It lays flat when I put it down, or I stuff in in my bra (hey, nobody else is putting it in their mouth).
  10. Why do I occasionally get a mouth full of e-juice? I check, nothing seems to be leaky, I just occasionally take a drag and get a mouth full of gross. Seems to happen more if I was chain vaping, put it down for a while, and its that first or second drag when I come back later.
  11. My first thought to that was "Ew, salty sweat flavored juice?". Pardon my gutter mind.
  12. No kidding. People seemed to think that once I quit smoking, that was it, all gone, no problems. But no... even years after, there was that constant "I wish I had a cigarette". Long car ride, late night typing up something, TV, sex, dinner, after dinner, listening to my family fight - I wish I had a cigarette. FINALLY, I'm at a point where if somebody offered me cigarettes and said "Here, you can have these. Free, no complaints" I wouldn't want them. I might sound like a broken record with it, but its night and day.
  13. I can't figure out why, but on days when I vape like a maniac, I feel guilty for it. I quit years ago, but still struggled with wanting to go back to smoking. This solved that. Why do I feel guilty? Anyone else experience guilt? Maybe I'm just nuts.
  14. I need a bigger vape case. I want to carry 2 batteries, a charger, and 5 flavors with a clearo for each case. That is not happening in the case that came with my eGo. Where would I find such a godsend? LoL at myself. When I bought it, I said "I'll just get a little one ans stick to one flavor". Oh the lies we tell ourselves.
  15. I like this video, points out that cars and sex have risk too, but we can reduce But we can reduce the harm. Just stick vape where they say snus.
  16. For me, It did a fantastic job of keeping me from going back to regular cigs, having already quit.
  17. What flavors tend to produce the least amount of noticable second-hand sent?
  18. The headshop near here sold me a wickless clearomizer. It rarely fired, and when it did, tasted like bland butt. I was shocked to get a refund, it having been in my disappointed mouth and having no reciept. Apparently, many didn't work. I suggested they carry ones like the nice one I had installed at that moment, she told me they went with the wickless because they are more reliable. Me: "Oh, like the one you just refunded me for?". LoL
  19. I found a handy little chart! ...and based on where my flavors taste burnt on my variable knob, I've figured out the atty it came with must be fairly low - 1.8 maybe.
  20. I've grown attached to my menthol right after I brush my teeth in the morning, hang on to that minty freshness a while. Interestingly enough, I found that if I vape some menthol with my partial out (lost my front teeth to a hypoglycemia induced car cash), it'll calm down irritated gums. Might be placebo, but if it is, don't tell my brain, ok.
