What The Eff! Is This True? Fda Test
Popsicle replied to slightlyaddicted's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
Yeah, all the tests I've seen are obviously corrupted in some way. The thing with e-liquid is that the ingredients list is so short that you can actually research what you're putting into your body. I wouldn't put it past the government to order some VT liquid, add some awful chemical to it, and then test it to make it look dangerous. -
Well, the way I always heard it was that the fiberglass isn't for flavor, but causes tiny cuts that make them hit you stronger. They say some cigarettes have fiberglass in the filters. Not sure if that's true or not, but I am SURE you would be hard pressed to find an e-liquid with fiberglass in it. That would be insanely irresponsible of the manufacturer. I would definitely NOT worry about this.

Agreed. I just had flashbacks to when I used to browse ECF. If this was normal behavior here, I would not be here. But yes, I've heard that LR can ruin a 510 battery. Even if it doesn't, I'm sure you use up the charge way too quickly. As it stands, 510 batteries don't even have the best charge on a regular atomizer. So yes, swapping them would be a great idea.

Except we make our tea in the sun with a piece of aluminum foil. WHAT'CHALL KNOW BOUT THAT?!?!?!

I am hearing a lot about regulating electronic cigarettes; and don't get me wrong, it sounds good on the surface. But if *they* get their hands on it, they're going to add more junk to the liquid. The reason vaping is better than smoking is because there are so many less chemicals, correct? So what makes any of you think that they won't add the exact same chemicals to our liquid? Think about it. Were you more addicted to smoking than vaping? Can you go a long while and just want to vape, whereas you would have walked across broken glass for a cigarette after about an hour? Do you find it strange that so many people start vaping to get their nicotine fix from an e-cig, but they still need cigarettes once in a while to quit for good? It's because nicotine isn't the most addictive thing in a cigarette. They add more to make sure you're REALLY hooked. If they'll resort to chemical warfare with regular cigarettes, why does anyone think that they won't make sure that vaping is just as addictive and just as deadly as smoking? Just my thoughts on it.

Exactly. 24mg is nothing, but if you're messing with 100, it gets serious. Original poster, yeah, you will be perfectly fine at 18mg. I don't even see how you could get enough 18mg vapor into your body to poison you. You'd probably have to drink the stuff.

This TOTALLY reminded me of when I first started. I'd wear latex gloves when handling 24mg!!! Seems kind of silly in retrospect.
-
It really doesn't, there are intricacies in his mods that a camera can't really capture.
-
They're fine. If I recall, they felt like hell and had to be hospitalized for a bit. I haven't heard of anyone dying, though.
-
^Agree with this^ I mean, I was smoking while vaping 24mg all the time, and apparently 24mg is considered high by most people.
-
I think I remember the thread you are talking about. Because that is the ONE and ONLY instance I have ever heard about it. I used to smoke and vape together like crazy all the time when I first started, and had absolutely zero problems at all. If I were you, I'd give it a try anyway. You'll most likely be fine. That was literally the first and only time I have ever heard of that happening. I'm sure others will back me up on this. But it's your choice!

From Vapor Galaxy? Energy Cow or whatever? I have it. It's pretty good. I don't Like real Red Bull because of that bitter nasty energy drink taste in it, so the liquid is basically Red Bull minus the kick.

Tasty Vapor Kretek is definitely the liquid for people who like cloves strong and spicy. Jag, you said something in your video that made me laugh, but this is a family forum... not really but they call it that anyway.
-
Mmmmmm the apple ones. I love cinnamon, so I may have to check this one out. Maybe switch it off with Atomic Cinnacide from Tasty Vapor every once in a while, because I LOVE that one, a LOT... but if I vape it too much, I can't taste anything else.

HAHA Mark! That was a good one! But it's true, Burn still reigns supreme. That man has a hilarious acid tongue like no other.

Thanks. Yeah, I reiterate, if you're a fan of blueberry candy, you need this. *Bows* I have read enough makeup and fragrance ads to turn any product into a novel. It's just a matter of giving inanimate objects personality.

Got a couple new liquids from Vapor Galaxy today, and I just wouldn't feel right if I didn't tell everyone about these gems... Blueberry (24MG, PG) I am a huge fan of blueberry; not the actual berries, but the flavor of them. Specifically, artificial candy-like renditions of blueberries. This one NAILED it. This is only the second I have tried, the first being DIY Flavor Shack. That one was alright, but ultimately, I was unimpressed. This blueberry liquid has a strong, unapologetic blueberry flavor. If you are looking for the taste of a fresh blueberry crushed up in your atomizer, this may not be for you, but if you enjoy blueberry-flavored candy, this is an absolute must-have. I am OBSESSED with it. As long as Vapor Galaxy is carrying this liquid, I don't think that there is any point of me trying any new blueberries. I had an idea of what I wanted, and I now own it. French Toast (24MG, VG) I ordered this with much trepidation. I usually prefer either PG or a PG/VG mix, because I am greedy and I want it ALL; throat hit, flavor, vapor production, gimme gimme gimme. The only pure VG I had tried was Rath Waffle *insert crowd boo-ing* so I wasn't quite sure how I'd deal with a light or non-existant throat hit. Well, I didn't have to. Maybe it was the fact that it was 24mg, but I was surprised by a perfectly satisfying throat hit. Nothing intense, but it gets the Popsicle stamp of approval. Why did I write so $@#&ing much about throat hit? The liquid is a very dark brown/amber color, which may bother some people, but I don't care. When you open this, it smells strongly of french toast with lots of syrup. Plain and simple. And it tastes pretty much the same. Strong, clean, accurate flavor. If this says anything about the rest of this VG line, I'm eager to try some others; whoever is making this liquid knows their stuff. In closing, both of these flavors are all-around completely satisfying. Wonderful flavor, great vapor, and good throat hit. I highly recommend not only these flavors, but Vapor Galaxy in general. Did you guys know that Luke is awesome? Just wanted to point that out to anyone who may not yet be aware. Check it out, you won't be sorry!

SLB atomizers truly suck. The regular ones, anyway; don't know about high-res on mods. They work, but DEFINITELY pale in comparison to Joye. Original poster, this probably goes for that Ego as well. It will get the job done, but probably not very effectively. Also, if something goes wrong, it will most likely be a nightmare. I would strongly suggest waiting until you can buy one from VT. It will be more expensive, but there is no question that you'll be getting an authentic product. Also, if the product is defective in some way, VT has amazing customer service.

I love how raunchy this post is getting, but if it gets any worse, someone will probably move it to the Mosh Pit.
-
So did I, but it was before I found out about these batteries... erm... ahem... how awkward...
-
I just ordered the 24mg French Toast. I like a PG/VG mix because I like the qualities of both. I am iffy about pure VG because I do love a good throat hit, but I decided to give it a chance. We'll see how it goes!
-
Wow, thanks for the tip (no pun intended). I just did this and it DOES look a lot better! It looks just like a long atomizer now.

Yeah, it's not only safe, but it kills airborne viruses in the lungs within seconds. Who is vaping a LOT of PG this winter? *Raises hand* But yeah, as everyone else said, I doubt there is enough moisture to actually accumulate in the lungs. Obviously there will be a little bit of excess moisture, but there's probably not enough to cause problems.
