If its not tasting burnt it might be too low ?

Should be some markings on the dial start on the lowest, normally 3.2 and work up slowly. If it tastes burnt drop it back a touch.

The USB ones have protection circuitry in them as well Tam.
After all its the electronics in the USB that tell it when to stop.
Chances are if it was plugged into his wall it would have gone up in smoke and possibly worse.
USB is only one way and limited to 5V where as mains depending where you are can be anything from 110V.

Sounds like he overloaded the board in the charger and has wrecked the thermal and resistance cut off.

What equipment are you using?? I agree with others that bumping up mg amount may fix it. But sometimes if you are using entry level equipment, upgrading equipment may help more than up-ing mg's.

Just me, but I'd be inclined to go with the Davide mini just because I'd need to change out the coils and their price. I have a couple of Aspire Bottom coils, don't know if it's the same one you're looking at. They're...okay, but not something I use regularly particularly because of the price of the coils and the Davide mini performs better for me.

I can't help but think this is all coming about due to the amount of tax the government are losing from people switching over to e-cigs.

When you consider just me as an individual I was on around 20 a day, that would amount to around £200+ per month just on cigarettes the government would take 80% of that. Now imagine a million people doing the same thing !

So either way you look at it the government will try and do something just to try and get back there 80%

I've posted the exact same problem about an hour ago pulling up the center pin worked.
Try it on another battery if you have one. I have 3 so I knew it wasnt the Davide.

My mini Davide turned up, what can I say but amazing so much better than the Kanger T3.
