how do I go about posting a picture without a URL? flavor is really nice, favor is okay im still getting used that that low of an ohm with the throat hit because I cant take pulls longer than a couple seconds. my lowest build before this was a 0.5 the build is so warm I don't know how I feel about it

yeah, to OP, your loss of flavor could be because your coils have been shot. have you tried replacing the coils in your evod? or just buying new evods everytime the flavor isn't good?

I recently built a 0.3 octocoil if you can call it that each coil is 14 wraps nano around a 23g syringe split in half. kinda like a bunny coil but nano version basically 1 wire, two coils, 7 wraps each. I have 4 of those in my helios

@Mkirby do you happen to know if your ego batteries are variable voltage? where the bottom cap of the battery spins to change voltage. if that's the case maybe you're running too high of a voltage. At 1.8ohms your voltage should be good around 3.8v reason why I ask is because if you're running too high of a voltage in relation to your ohms you'll kill the coil faster

why don't you just change the guage kanthal you're using for the 13 wraps to achieve the same surface area but with different resistance? if flavor is what you're seeking, air flow plays a part in flavor as well. you don't want a too airy draw then it'll dilute the flavor. also different builds even if the surface area isn't much still give you flavor. I just built a nano dual bunny coil last night the coils are tiny but the flavor is the best yet I've had at sub ohming the only build that has great flavor is my kayfun running 1.2ohms

just be aware in shipping times, it can sometimes take a while for stuff to get to you. and be careful ordering batteries because they may never get through customs

I use organic cotton balls that I found at CVS

I use cotton on my kayfun and igo w but I use a SS Cable in my RSST I love the flavor I get with cotton as well as cotton holds a good amount of juice

For me, I've never smoked, I am currently 24 I liked the idea of a hookah but tried it and didn't like the taste, it wasn't what I was expecting Then a B&M shop contacted me to make their in store sign [i cut vinyl as my side job] and they hooked me up with a starter kit, ego c-twist and protank II I've always used 0nic juices I've then moved on into mods, I have 3 current set ups Cloud Chaser || Brass Nemesis Clone / Igo-W w/ clear cap / dual dragons / cotton / 0.4ohms Flavor Chaser || Hammer mod clone / Kayfun lite / chimney coil / cotton / 1.2ohms In-Between || SS Nemesis Clone / RSST / SS Cable Wick / 0.8ohms I see myself more as a promoter and second has a "enthusiast" [for lack of better terminology] I've spread vaping to my friends that do smoke in hopes that vaping would remove them off analogs, some worked and some are still in the process. I've always liked electronics and building circuits. Building mods is like building circuits. I find it fun making coils, testing ohms, and trying out different builds. I make sure my batteries are safe for my ohm and make sure I am responsible where I vape. A few of my friends [some of them are minors] started to vape. I try and voice to them that if they vape and never smoked, stick with 0nic. Always be responsible and not reckless. If they choose not to vape safely or responsibly that's on them. I trust the people I know realize the difference between what's right and what's wrong to think for themselves.

I was having problems wicking the cotton at 0.8 ohms When I used it at 1.3 ohms it was perfect, chain vaping with no problems or dry hits I'm using my RSST as one that gets good flavor and a good amount of vapor. So I tried different things that would work at around 0.8 because that was my resistance aim and found out that the SS cable with 3 wraps iirc is great I'm running cotton still on my other two atomizers [Kayfun Lite & Igo-W]

if you're worried about leaking don't consider a RSST, that's one that will leak if you lay it down on its side for a period of time. I go with what everyone else I saying look up Russian 91% / Kayfun 3.1 / Kayfun Lite / Kayfun Lite Plus easy tank, no leaks if done right, nice flavorful vape, I would chain vape one all day.

have you tried tightening the 510 connection on the bottom of the Russian? that's usually a screw that holds down the positive post.

a burnt taste will not have anything to do with your battery. your battery just fires you set up, choosing the right battery will determine a safe circuit depending on the ohm's you'll run. you might have a burnt taste due to different reasons - you have a hot spot in your coil - you're pulling dry - your cotton got burnt [if you're using cotton that is] without a picture of your build or what you're doing, we cannot narrow why you have a burnt taste

the way his coil is set up now the negative lead of the coil is the bottom lead. if the coil drops a little it'll cause that lead to touch the positive post thus causing a short. now if he wired the coil the other way where the negative lead is the top lead of the coil it would raise the lead off the negative post and having little to no chance of touching the positive post to cause a short. this is the way I wire my chimney coil on my kayfun. I always use the top lead of my coil for the negative post of the kayfun.

I have 3 mods and 3 atomizers that give me difference results depending on my mood, where I'll be vaping, as well as, what I'll be doing while I vape. With my 3 mods I have: A Cloud Chaser A Flavor Chaser and a vape in balance with clouds and flavor My mood dictates what type of vape I want to produce Where I'll be vaping asks the question "would a storm cloud be too much for where I am?" Lastly what I'll be doing ask the question "would a lightning cloud be in the way of what I'm currently doing?" If I'm in a crowded public place I do not want to be puffing clouds everywhere and causing too much unwanted attention. Or if I'm driving I don't want to hotbox my car or mistakenly exhale in front of my face to obstruct my view of driving. This is why I have 3 builds to my liking. yeah depending on the avp they have different "safe" ohm limits by the manufacture

I don't think an ego will fire that low ohms I think 1.3 is the limit on them

I like cotton because I notice a weird taste with silica as well as I feel cotton holds a lot more juice for clouds though, it all depends on your build. All my builds I use Silica I got a 0.5 ohm dual nano drago, even though its 0.5 ohms it chucks a lot of vapor. I have that sitting in an IGO-W I have a 0.8 ohm single coil in my rsst, a well balance between clouds and flavor My last build is a 1.2 ohm vertical nano chimney coil on my kayfun lite, vapor like a protank but soo flavorful
