  1. Being a noobie one of the first things I came across on here, that I was not doing was steeping my juice. Now that I have steeped some juice all I can say is... WOW what a difference! The down side is that I am going to run out of juice before my batch that is steeping is done! lol... I guess I need to take a closer look at the procedure for "Speed Steeping"!
  2. $6.00+ per pack back there? wow, just think if you lived out here in WA you probably would have pulled the trigger sooner! They are about $8.50+ tax here (comes out to about $10+ per pack depending on brand) I just started vaping on 8/17... started with 1/2 pack of analogs in my pocket... still have them! (Need to throw them out )
  3. Welcome aboard! I am fairly new to this as well, but you came to the right place! The people on this forum are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help.
  4. Out of curiosity what does beetlejuice taste like?
  5. That sucks Sheepdog... hope yer feeling better soon!
  6. That's right folks... that is not a fog bank, it is National Vape Day!
  7. Translation in simpler form: He accidentally bought a bottle of nic that would be used for DIY mixing and loaded his tank with it. And yes that would be a safety issue
  8. As the saying goes "it's all good all good until you wake up dead". Poor soul... one post... and it was too late for him
  9. A friend of mine's son and his wife just started vaping to quit the analogs... they did not go to a B&M and did not do much research, they just ordered off a website. Long story short they ordered a couple of c4 blisterpacks, some juice and a bottle of 100% Nicotine ... I imagine you can see where this is going... yup, that's right... loaded some 100% nicotine into the c4 and took a hit! Must have about blown the back of his head off!
  10. Still switching between a Melon Ball and some Oba Oba... just ordered some stuff from Medic... can't wait for it!
  11. There are several threads on here discussing that subject, and lots of information from very helpful people! Welcome aboard!
  12. Welcome... let the obsession begin!
  13. I'm an Operations Manager for 3rd party logistics. Long hours, on call 24/7 for my employees and a high stress client environment. I really need a new job this one is taking its toll. But at least, being the boss, I can Vape in my office all day!
  14. It was some punk when I was in high school, one of those guys that decided he was going to show his friends how tough he was by taking on the big guy... that plan did not work out too well for him,,, so he jumped me one day when I was walking out of a café and blindsided me with the pipe... that worked out even worse for him.
  15. I got hit in the jaw with a pipe, which dislocated it. Ever since it makes a popping noise when I chew and if I chew a lot, like gum, it gets stiff and will occasionally pop out of joint again. Rather painful!
  16. I have to agree with the vaping being the better option. Patch - gave me a rash and that seemed to be the only effect it had Gum - I can't chew gum for long with out it dislocating my jaw from an old injury Vaping - Started vaping 8/17/13 with half a pack of analogs left... still have the half pack Gee, I wonder which option might be the better one?
  17. I think that addiction is relative to the individuals biochemistry, some people are just more susceptible to addiction than others. I have known people that have done hard drugs and just stop and others that can't without rehab assistance. Smoking is a rather unique addiction because stress plays a key factor in smoking levels. I know people that literally start to twitch if they go to long with out a smoke and then there are people like me that only smoked when I was at work (high stress job), I could go an entire week on vacation without even thinking about a smoke but as soon as I jumped in the car to come to work that was all I could think about. My personal opinion is that the habit of smoking is the bigger addiction than the actual chemical make up of a cigarette, however that being said, the chemicals that are present in cigarettes do play a big part and react differently with an individual depending on how susceptible they are to addiction. The one thing that I miss from analogs is the head rush you would get, I don't get that vaping so the "head rush" must be from the tobacco itself and the chemicals they add not the nicotine. As far as the older generation not being as addicted as bad, I think if you could go back and track when cigarette companies started adding more chemicals to their product you probably could see a matching trend with the addiction levels. The cigarettes of our grandfathers was a much purer product. (I hope my early morning ramblings make sense )
  18. Great thread... I have been contemplating what to do for a case, giving me some great ideas!
  19. I get the obsession thing... I've only been vaping a month and I am already starting to twitch when I think about the assortment of toys out there
