  1. Mine works great, with only the occasional misfire. I have had no issues other than that.
  2. The only time I have ever used them is at my local B&M when testing juices. The taste is never right though because it usually tastes like burnt coil, lol. I am not experienced with these type of tanks, so maybe someone else can chime in and answer this question for you.
  3. You are heating the coil with the first couple clicks. By the time you click and hold, the coil is 3/4 of the way lit. This is much more noticeable with a thicker gauge wire, as it takes longer to heat up.
  4. The outer threads are eGo threading, and from what I have noticed, most disposable clearomizers use them.
  5. Just thought I would add this here since FastTech had been mentioned previously in the thread. They have updated their service and are no longer using Hong Kong Post, so orders will be shipped much quicker from now on.
  6. We got a little mixed up I believe. VG is Vegetable Glycerin, PG is Propylene Glycol.... I think. VG is thicker than PG, and is sweeter as well, but PG carries more flavor (which is why most flavorings are PG based) and also gives more of a throat hit. A mix higher in VG will produce more clouds, but with less flavor.... I think.
  7. I got Christmas day off from work, so being able to spend the morning and day with my girls is all I want for Christmas. Their mother moved to VA a year ago, and it would've been horrible if I didn't get the day off of work. So yeah, I get what I want this year. As for vape gear, maybe I will treat myself to some juice and a second RBA. If you guys want to pitch in and buy me the new King mechanical, I wouldn't mind at all.
  8. Custard's Last Stand from Nicoticket in the tank. Pleasant vanilla inhale, with the egg and butter lingering on the tongue, and a well balanced blend of all flavors completing the custard taste upon exhaling. A definite ADV for my tastes.
  9. I have an RSST, and like it a lot. It's simple to build on and is recommended for a beginner RBA. Just be sure an get a replacement tank incase it cracks from juice with high PH. If you are going to use the KPT I would suggest purchasing a Kick. It keeps you within your limits, unless you plan on going sub-ohm.
  10. No, the kit is not useless. You will be glad you purchased it. It gives you plenty of time to upgrade when you feel the need to. Congrats on your first mech purchase! At $30 it's a no-brainer, even if it were a clone of a clone.
  11. lol, and I now know. I had ordered my first Vape Dudes with extra shots in all 6 of the juices and had no troubles, but that was when I was using the basic gear. You live and learn, and in the vape world, you never stop learning. I regret nothing!
  12. I use my eVic with regular tanks, and mechanical with the RBA. My current setup in the RBA is a 1.3ohm twisted micro (eVic had read 0.8ohm, but rechecked it on an actual ohm reader). It could very well be that EC Blends do not vape well at higher temps. If it doesn't work out then hey, you guys get first dibs on my remaining EC Blends. They will be steeped to perfection by then. Edit** I tried filling my Cobra RBA, which has a 1.8ohm micro coil, and vaped it on the eVic @ 3.4v and it still had the same taste after a bit.
  13. I would offer up a link to this $30 kit. I highly doubt it is an authentic Kamry at that price, but the K100 clones of clones are usually only sold individually, not offered in a kit. Either way, I would buy everything separate. You can find great deals on the K100 all over the place. Get yourself some good batteries and a good charger, as they are the most important aspect for any mechanical mod. Don't ever skimp on the batteries. All that aside, the K100 is a solid beginner mechanical. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking to enter the world of mech mods. As for SlowTech, expect delays with any orders containing batteries. It's not FastTech's fault about the holdups, its HK customs. Some get lucky and receive their order within 2 weeks, but they are few and far. Others end up waiting months for their order.
  14. Yes I did order 3 Dragon's with extra flavor, and also the FLAN. With the extra shot, it may need to steep an even longer period. We shall see. I'm not saying the company makes bad juice, just hasn't worked for me as of yet. I will find out in about a month from now. I am shaking them really good daily. They are stored in a dark place with the caps and tips off. They smell awesome and taste very good when vaped out of a regular tank on a VV/VW, but I just can't go back to basics. I'm spoiled now, lol.
  15. They vape just fine out of a regular tank (KPT, iClear30), but out of my RBAs they taste horrible. Just don't work well with high heat I guess. I got through about 1/16 of my Cobra RBA with my eVic set to 3.4v before I started to get the nasty taste. Don't get me wrong, they smell outstanding and taste wonderful in a regular tank, but my tastes have changed greatly and I prefer lung inhales and a loose draw. I have found my sweet spot for vaping, and the vapor and taste is spectacular with my preferred setup. These EC Blends are the only juices that won't vape well with my setup. I hope a month long steep will turn them around for me.
  16. Just got the Custard's Last Stand in the mail. Nicoticket did a fan-freakin-tastic job with this custard juice. I'm in heaven right now. After my EC Blends letdown, I've been having great luck with my juice orders. The EC will steep for about a month before I even give it another taste. If it still wont vape in my RSST by then, I just might have to trade them, or even give them away. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will get better with time, but as it is now, for me, they are unvapable.
  17. Blueberry Morning from Good Life Vapor. Only been steeping for a couple days, and has a more prominent blueberry taste with a hint of mapleand butter. A longer steep should allow the flavors to blend smoothly. A very delicious vape. Good Life seriously has my attention, and Jeremy Dollar will be receiving a lot more business from this guy.
  18. You are a creator my friend. Your place is the unknown. Thank you for your service.
  19. The eVic would always pull that crap with me. I only use it as an ohm reader now. Anything under 1.1ohm will read as an atomizer short. I am never going back to regular tanks or VV/VW, not after getting an RBA and going the mechanical route. Just gotta keep it safe and not venture into the unknown.
  20. I would give it a shot if I had some ribbon wire. I only had a very small length, and the Tinman was all I could build. Do it to it Medic!!
  21. That will definitely lead to a tight draw and/or flooding. Glad you got it working. Rip is the man. When I get a chance, I might try to build his Tricro coil. I haven't been experimenting with coil builds since I put the twisted micro on my RSST. It's perfect for me.
  22. Nana's Nuts from Good Life Vapor. I need to order a bigger bottle. It's that good. Mmmmmmmm, my new ADV.
  23. Triangle Vapes already has their hands on them, but are currently out of stock. This is gonna be a hot seller. http://trianglevape.com/igo-w3/
  24. I haven't myself, but have heard they are very trustworthy and always come through.
