  1. Plus the quote that saying it's tricking young people into smoking? Smoking requires inhaling something that's burning, yet?
  2. I think I know where you are talking about, but I'm not @ my pc, so I can't check, but I'll check in the morning after I get out of bed.
  3. Oh, I figured out one drawback to the glass bottles with the eye droppers (they work great for filling Davides without having to tilt them, BTW). Reaching the last bit of juice in the bottle. Had that happen earlier today or last night.
  4. Okay, so from my previous thread, my Zmax is having problems. It is getting shipped back to Discount Vapors on Friday. Discount Vapors is no longer carrying any Sigelei Zmax's, and possibly no Sigelei mods, as well. Other online stores, however, still carry the Sigelei's, so I don't know why DV isn't. So what I have left is this. Soooo, I started looking around at what they DO have. I KNOW a couple of you are recommending the iTaste, but with no replaceable battery, that leaves me chained to a usb port if I want to vape while it's charging (can it charge off the USB port in my cell phone or Nook charger?). I don't get a refund, I only get DV credit, so I need to buy from there. So, I start looking around. There is also the Innokin SVD Express Kit (which isn't actually a kit, but I don't need a kit) - currently out of stock, but I am assured by Christine they are expecting more in stock. There is the Tesla, which...okay, it wasn't ringing my bells. I don't if it's the fact that it's only an eGo connection (ideally, I want one with both connections as my tanks currently are half and half, and hubby is having trouble with his adapter with his Provari). Then I get to the Vamo 5. Now, previously, I had rejected Vamo before I bought my Sigelei because the versions I saw didn't have both fittings on it - but this Vamo has both fittings on it, but hubby says there is an issue when you are using a 510 tank - that in order to unscrew your 510 tank, you have to take the collar OFF so that you can grasp the base of your tank and keep from unscrewing the tank from the base. Also, there is Eric's note at the bottom: Also, this Vamo will have the aame issue with some protanks that the other mods do, the ProTank is sketchy at best with some 510 connections on mods, if you run into any issues either take off the top cap, use an adpater or an airflow controller. This is not warrantied for working specifically with a ProTank. Um, huh? I've never heard of problems with using the KPT2 with APV's before, other than the issue with the Provari, not being able to tighten it all the way down. As a matter of fact, I SAW that happen in one of Phil Busardi's reviews of the KPT2 - when he compared that, the Davide, and the KPT mini. But does anyone know what Eric @DV is referring to when he says this, and how do you get around it? Hubby said something about the connector pin not always connecting, but I don't think that's what Eric was referring to, so I'm hoping you guys will know. The next candidate, I've never even heard of before, but I never scrolled down that far on the page before, either. It is the KSD KMax? Looks to be a more expensive, prettier VMax clone? Granted, it's pretty.....and the prettier ones are even a couple dollars more, and even the cheapest ones are $10 more than the Vamo 5's. Not even touching the Innoken light saber. Double my budget. And finally, the iTaste MVP. It's not that I don't like it. I PREFER removable rechargeable batteries, because I don't want to have to have a secondary device to vape from while the iTaste is charging (and I vape like a chimney), or be chained to a USB device while it's charging (speaking of which, in addition to my PC, can I plug it in to say my phone charger's USB port to charge, or my Nook charger's USB port to charge? Except the Nook charger is my husband's, as mine got caught in the reclining sofa and it ate (chewed through) the charging cable, and I ended up pitching the whole thing, and never bothered replacing it, and I'm sure he won't let me use it to charge the APV and vape at the same time, I would imagine it could be dangerous). As for using it to charge other things, I don't think I'd be doing that. Yes, my cell phone charge is important to me, but so is my APV charge. I wish there were others on the list, but I can't afford to go to other online stores and not take advantage of the $75 + tax credit I would have there. So I am looking for everyone's experiences with these devices, sturdiness, ease of using tanks, and whether you would recommend them. I would probably get the Sigelei again, if they still had it. Also, ultimately, it would probably be best if I could find one that would fit a lanyard. Also, any button problems, please tell me.
  5. Hubby picked me up another 15 ml of Holy Grail RY4 Sweet Tobacco, since if I order it from Vapor Beast, I can't order it until Friday at the earliest, and it won't likely be here until at least Tuesday. You know what - it takes considerably more eyedropperfuls to even come close to filling up a Davide than it does to fill up a 1 ml mini PT. The Davide is another post entirely....I think this Davide is just weird, maybe a flaky one or something, lol. It didn't like the less than 1 week old coil I put in it that I HAD been using with the RY4....wasn't doing squat, but perked right up when I put a brand new coil in it.
  6. Starting a new thread, because it is now getting a NEW APV if I want to use the credit that DV will give me.
  7. Yeah, see, that's what I was thinking. I mean, my vaping went up hugely just from going from 24 to 18, and I was only on 24 for like, a week. So I think next time I order these flavors, I'll get a bottle of 18 and a bottle of 8, and just mix them together to get a 30 ml bottle of 13 nic. As a matter of fact, hubby doesn't want to go to that particular vape store (Cloud 9) because it's $12 a bottle, so I need to call the Vapor Beast online store, and see how long it takes to ship once an order is put in, since it's free shipping. If I'd get it within a week, I guess that's okay (but I can't order it until their order comes in, tomorrow or Friday), and I'm completely out of the RY4 variant, and the Kick Ash full flavored tobacco, I have about 5 mls left. BUT, if I order it online, I can get all four bottles (2 15 ml bottles of each to mix up to make the 13 mg) for just $8 more than I would pay to get just 1 15 ml bottle of each flavor from Cloud 9. So I think we'll just use that place as a tasting ground, and maybe if we like the local juicer that sells there, pick up that stuff.....but I wish he would sell someplace else other than where they charge $12/15 ml.
  8. Well, when I started looking at getting my APV set up, I had hubby buy me my first KPT 2, because they had colored glass, so I could "color code" my juices. Problem is, certain colors don't show up so well with juice in them, lol. And it wasn't long after I got the first KPT2 that I started having difficulty with the Davide - changing the coil worked, then it didn't, then I just changed the coil again and it worked.....now I'm having a different issue with the Davide that I'll post about on a different subforum, but as far as I know, it still works, lol. Haven't refilled it yet because I haven't finished re-organizing my flavors in their new tanks determined by whether I can currently vape them, and frequency of use. No use having the most frequently vaped juice in a ml tank. But I am going to get different colored anodized drip tips for all of my glass tanks - whether I finish them off with Davides or Pro-Tanks (if it's Pro-Tanks it will definitely be full sized, but I could live with 6 full sized tanks and 5 mini Davides with the amount that they hold - then I can give the mini pro tanks to....whoever. I doubt hubby will use them, unless he used them with his mechanical, because he would have to get his eGo stick battery out. He doesn't like the way the adapter fits on his mini provari.
  9. RY4 is generally a, I think, supposedly mild or smooth tobacco flavor with vanilla and caramel, I THINK. However, the brands I've had of it previous to this weekend, the tobacco flavor stood out, and you only got little whiffs of the other flavors, and I didn't like that. But this Holy Grail RY4 is, I think it's a bit sweeter than the others, I'm not sure. I can't say for sure that you can taste the other flavors better, because vanilla is one of the flavors I'm not tasting very well lately, but it's not as harsh to me (I was actually at one point considering getting some vanilla or caramel to mix into the other RY4 we had, but it was just a sample, so I didn't bother. Hubby liked it enough to finish the sample off, but not enough to buy it. As a matter of fact, he didn't buy anything from that vendor, he was kinda meh on all the flavors, while I was gung ho on one, and now I have to mix it with another flavor (at this point) to keep it from bothering me (if you are looking for reasons on all my flavor issues, you can look up my old postings....they've just kicked in the last month, and while the two months before that I was veering away from tobacco flavored juices, now I'm finding them more attractive again, as long as I can taste all the ingredients. Oh, and I'm sorry, it's called Holy Grail RY4 sweet tobacco. I think I said earlier, and I'm sorry if I didn't, they are out of stock until tomorrow or Friday - I called them yesterday to ask them.
  10. I was sorta wondering about these mysel, due to my situation. Do the take both ego and 510 threadings? And HOW easy is it to change? Since I tend to hit buttons I don't mean to. And is there a lanyard that would work for them, OR, in the alternative, how sturdy are they?
  11. GAH! STUPID NOOK! I lost my post, hit the back button to get back to it, it told me the info hhad already been submitted, so I hit the next button on the thread, hoping I could edit my incomplete and completely screwed up at the end post, but it's not here. And evidently, he bought a clone, because the cost was about the same cost as a Natural on DV, and pdoan said a gehnuine Nemesis is about $200. I wonder if he knows that? Now I have to wonder if the Natural was a clone, too, since it was $60, or is the Nemesis that much better - however it is that they can be better, but if you can still get PMs, I'll send you a PM rather than hijacking thi poor person's thread anymore, as it was well, It may have been wordy, or just seemed that way,, typing one letter at a time on this nook. I want a tablet, darn it!
  12. Tonight it is Alt Cigs Irish cream, but all day it was Holy Grail RY4, til I ran out.
  13. No, I haven't brought up the twist yet, but I'm trying to anticipate the things he COULD say. The dog is having $400 surgery tomorrow, youngest's class ring needs to be ordered and paid for Thursday, I've bought about $100 worth of stuff in the last 2 weeks, with the possibility of at least $60+ more in the next week, almost a necessity given my flavor problems (I vaped 3 flavors over the weekend, starting with Friday, through 9 pm today, necesitating refills on what I just got Friday. I wanted to try a different flavor fom there, too, but I'm going to put that and the mini davide off until next month, or I may decide to go with all full sized instead of minis (that will be Christmas). We also have two boys' brthdays (17 and 19 within a week of Christmas (December BITES IN MY HOUSE!) Thank goodness for financial aid, since the second semester starts in January, so we should be getting the overage check from hubby's financial aid in Feb.) But frankly, I don't want to be without variable SOMETHING while DV checks to make sure I'M not the cause of the issue, we decide if I'm going to just get a replacement Sigelei, or if I'm going to get something else, and the time it takes DV to process what I want to do, unless it will only take a couple of days - well a week with mailing time. I'll e-mail Jennifer tomorrow and see how long it shoul take. As far as the mechanicals, aren't there some chargers that won't charge a battery if it gets TOO low? I thought that was why there's battery monitoring on APVs. I find it odd that he eould want to go subohm, but he DID get those RBAs, so I guess he's thinkin for that, because I KNOW his carto tanks are in the 4 ohm range.
  14. Is the iTaste one of those that doesn't have a separate rechargeable battery? Because the way I vape, that's a must. Also, would prefer VW (does iTaste have that? I'm on my Nook, so I can't have more than one browser page open), and I would also prefer both 510 and ego connection. Not asking for much, am I, lol. What about the rest of you? Any input on whether I should exchange or get a refund and purchase something else?
  15. Try Vapor Beast. They don't have a sample pack, and my fave flavors they are out of until Thursday, but their version of RY4, and their tobacco flavors are excellent.
  16. So am I! If only I could get the rest of my family on the bandwagon, or even one - like my broke sister - I'd be happy, too!
  17. Well, I mean, the mini-Davide is big enough as it is -bigger the PT mini and the evod. So tomorrow, I'm going to switch my flavors around, and the least used of those that I keep tanked will go into the mini pro tanks. Today, I called half the stores in the immediate area, and they don't carry Davides. But I've got the new store halfway convinced to stock them. He thought they were PT knock offs, until I told him that both sizes hold more than the "equitable" size pro tank. Can't get ahold of Better Vapes today to see if they carry the mini, but they should, since they carry the full size. Otherwise, if I replace my Sigelei, I'll order it then.
  18. It's not that I don't like the mini PT, it's just so darn small. I mean, the evod is bigger, much less the mini Davide. But my full sized Davide is working properly now - I evidently have crap luck with coils that I put in there.
  19. Shoot, phone won't let me edit. And if I DO the refund, which direction should I go in?
  20. Okay, opinion time. DV has contacted me, telling me to send it back, of course a complete description of the problem, and asking me to let them know if I want a refund or a replacement. Frankly, I'm not sure which I should go for. I mean, I like it, but what if it happens one month in again?
  21. Okay, I've been mostly succesfully dropping down off 18 nic slowly - most of my juice right now is either 16 or 15 nic (except for a few). The new flavors I picked up from Cloud 9, I don't know if it is because Vapor Beast only carries these nic levels, or if the other company does as well, they only sell at nic levels of 24, 18, 8, and 0. And Vapor Beast, even online, only carries at those levels, and will not custom make a different nic level for you - at least, I'm assuming so, since I filled out a contact us form on Friday and still haven't heard back from them. So, would a drop from 18 nic to 8 nic be too big of a jump for my body to handle, or should I just buy a bottle of 8 and a bottle of 18, and mix them together to get a nic 13?
  22. Pretty sure it was either Vapor Beast or DV, but I saw an air flow controller there. Now, I have a question about mechanical mods. If you are used to, and enjoy VW,/VV, and all the bells and whistles that come with APV's, why would you go mechanical - especially if you are going to get a kick to add the circuitry back in? Since there is no overheating protection, etc., I would be concerned. But hubby just ordered a Nemesis last night (the real thing), I guess to go with his RBA's, but can someone explain the draw of the mech mods to me please?
  23. Shoot, Christie, I thought I posted this before you posted, but I never hit the post button. Well, the other day, I emptied the tank out, switched the coil just in case, and put some Papa Smurf in it. Below the level that it usually starts gurgling and spitting and leaking. So far, none of that, even though I only vaped it for about 15 minutes. I guess it was the coil after all (this was, I guess Saturday night?), even though it did none of those things when the tank was above half full.
